About Celts and the Mad Goddess by P.C. Darkcliff

Fearing that the Celts would burn her as an evil spirit, Rawena seduces ORTAVER, the Germans’ high commander, and asks him for protection.
The Germans overtake the Celtic town. They imprison Garux, who has recently become the chieftain, and enslave the tribe.
Four years later, just as the Celts start a revolt, Rawena dresses as a Germanic jailer to free Garux—and Arvasia sneaks into the prison and spears her heart. As a battle breaks out, Rawena crawls into safety. Pandemia mends her and gives her a month to unleash the plague.
Garux and Arvasia look for her all over Bohemia but cannot find her. The king refuses to help them; their druidess fails to reclaim Rawena’s soul. And the Germans plot revenge.
Pandemia tells Rawena that Ortaver and the remnants of his army have settled in an abandoned Celtic village. Rawena joins them there and infects Ortaver with her pestilential blood. Just before he dies, Ortaver spreads the plague among his men.
The Celts corral the Germans and contain the outbreak, but Arvasia falls gravely ill. Although she fears it’s the plague, it’s only morning sickness. Garux and Arvasia rejoice about the pregnancy. Then Arvasia miscarries.
They corner Rawena and are about to behead her to prevent her from causing another outbreak, but Pandemia rushes to save her. Before she takes Rawena away, Pandemia tells Garux and Arvasia that their baby died of the plague. And that she made them immortal to witness Rawena’s work of doom.
Garux and Arvasia swear they will not rest until they destroy Rawena and defy Pandemia.

John has recently experienced his own brush with ‘Darkness’ as his wife was diagnosed with cancer while he was writing Sold Out. She is now thankfully through surgery and treatment and is now in recovery.

Sigurdsson grew up in Iceland and graduated as an architect from Finland in 1966. He pursued an international career that took him to the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and the U.S. His assignments ranged from construction of the palace and harem of the ruler of Abu Dhabi to building schools in developing countries in Africa and elsewhere. He has worked for several aid agencies, including UNESCO and the World Bank. In retirement, he designed and built his own house with his own hands.

Veronica Li emigrated to the U.S. from Hong Kong as a teenager. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California, Berkeley, and her master’s degree in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins University. At thirty years old, against all sensible advice, I dropped a successful business in website building and pedalled from my back doorstep in Ireland to the Himalayas. My route took me across Europe, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan and India. A commitment to pedalling every overland inch of the way resulted in eight thousand miles of chaotic highways and tranquil country lanes, of freezing winter-bound mountain passes and steaming tropical jungle paths, of endless empty desert crossings and the streets of densely packed third world metropolises. As I typically found myself in places well off the tourist radar, I often stayed at the mercy of local inhabitants; with Kurds in goat-hair tea-houses, with respectable Iranians and their opium loaded Shisha pipes, with Afghanis in dirt-floored desert roadhouses and even in the luxurious palace of a desert king and ex-Pakistani president.

The endless solo hours of contemplation brought fierce challenges to my conditioning. Breathing draughts of fresh air into expanded lungs, pedalling the bike day after day, my old ideas of who I was gradually crumbled and I began to feel more awake and alive than ever before. With no capsule around my senses, from the saddle I got to know the world and its people in intimate ways. For me, the journey was a time to be reborn, a nine-month gestation period during which I learned to trust the human soul, no matter in what colours it came decked.

In terms of my bio, I actually have thirteen self-published books. This is a book that was very recently released and it is my first book written under the name, Mark Comstock. I have six books written under the name, Aaron Aaronson and six books written under the, in no way idiotic name, Xavier Cockroachal Damon.
