As a former teacher, I spent several years living in an uptown Brooklyn neighborhood, frequenting its many cafes and coffee houses and getting to know it from the inside out. The story's board with the fictitious characters in a fictional narrative story, beginning in Toronto, Ontario, then move to Catania, Sicily, were three ten-year-old cousins at the house of the "Ill Capo di Tutti Capi di la Honorata Familia," their grandfather.
They made an oath in 1954 that together will go to university and acquire higher education to transform the racketeer family business into a mega-billion dollar corporation, with their brilliant wives' help.
The flying adventures, the connection with Pablo Escobar in Medellin Colombia, and the emergency landing in the Bahamas in the middle of a hurricane Carmen tailwind was a fact.
"Living a Sinful Life in Paradise" was written as a movie script, named "The Metamorphosis of Success" later change into a novel. It took me five years to do the two projects.
