I worked non-stop, and all I cared about was making more and more money. Yes… I had a nice car and a beautiful house, but I lived a life where I was not happy, and deep down I knew it. I had nothing to lose, so one day, I decided to prove that everything I heard about mindfulness, awareness, and meditation was right. I committed to meditating an hour a day for an entire year to see if this practice could change my life. Being as cynical and controlling as I was, I decided to keep a journal so I could track any change within me. This book contains the most significant passages from that journal and the events that occurred in my life as I embarked on that wonderful journey through meditation.
