I opened my eyes one day and realized that my vision was gone – I was blind! Because of vision loss and a change in lifestyle, I gained extra 50 kg (110 lb) and acquired numerous other bad habits in a fairly short period of time. About Tropic of Wonder

This episodic, semi-autobiographical novel starts out with Claudio being taken on a long ride by his angry mother into a rural area, unsure if he is going to still be alive by the end of the trip. Next we find Claudio with his father in Atlantic City, where a violent altercation takes place. There is a brief poetic illustration on the night, and being raised by it. Following this, there is an encounter with death through a sudden illness. His mother remarries, and his stepfather calls him names relentlessly. Claudio grows up to lose his first faith.

A bout of depression occurs, and two extremely humiliating events that ended young relationships are detailed. A house burns down in the neighborhood, and Claudio discovers that a drunk man who recently attacked him on the street owned the house. He then tries heroin and essays on his newfound atheism. But Claudio continues to make mistakes, as he finds himself in a romantic relationship that turns violent and ends with a near-murder.

Constantine then goes on two dates, both equally absurd and unbelievable, one with a witch, and another with a loose, but intelligent woman. We are quickly introduced to a conspiracy that happened in middle school that led to an expulsion. The following year a comedic but false accusation finally seals his scholastic life. Claudio’s father goes to jail, and Claudio is sent to bail him out, when he uncovers a large stash of money that his father had been hiding from everybody.

There is a brief chapter about being on the road with his father on Sundays, and their trips down to the Jersey Shore. Claudio tries dust, and experiences a mind-blowing revelation. There is a short section about Broadway, Bayonne and growing up in that small city. Then, in his early 20’s anxiety attacks begin, and Claudio has to find a way to live with them or vanquish them. We then spin back to Andrew, a childhood friend, and we learn that Andrew is hiding a dark secret. The outing of this secret finds Claudio’s mother at the police station twice, which leads to her making a decision that would affect all of their lives forever.

Claudio falls in love with a book, and begins to write with a passion. Two humiliating acts of cowardice are given to us from his youth. Then there is a hilarious section about Constantine being fired from the same job three times. Afterward, our hero finds himself twitching from one career choice to another, being unable to settle on any of them. However, a coworker announces a secret yearning for Claudio, and he is let go from another job for sharing too much information with the manager. This is when our protagonist loses his confidence in ever becoming a writer, and instead utilizes it, subconsciously, as a kind of scam, so as to not to join the rat race.

We snap back to Mia, his first love, his first date with her, which devolved into tragicomedy, and how she almost had him shot and killed. Claudio then tells about how he was forced by his stepfather to attend Hebrew School and have a Bar Mitzvah.

The last section, the meat of the book, we find Claudio lashing out, thinking he is alone, but discovering that someone hears his every word. We are introduced to Maria, his lesbian, immigrant wife, and insanity prevails. A wild highway scene is discussed, an extortion follows, followed by an inevitable disappearance. All of this culminates in a life-changing epiphany that Claudio has about love, and his past failures in all of his relationships, while attending a funeral.

The novel terminates with a heroic save, and a decisive acceptance of his spotty past.

Interspersed throughout are brief but prosaic monologues on existence, anxiety, faith, death, music, abuse and redemption.

and a doctorate in public health from Harvard. He has held faculty positions at several

A few years ago, I got extremely interested in areas of personal development and coaching, resulting in me quitting smoking, losing 35 kilograms, and changing my pessimistic attitude about Life. That was just the beginning…

Even though I hit every goal I wanted, I was still unsatisfied with the state of affairs and was asking myself ‘Why am I still unhappy?’ ‘Where is the satisfaction in that?’
In 2016 I’ve started exploring the idea of meditation and spirituality, exploring these themes in books and YouTube. That led to a massive shift in my Understanding of Life.

In August 2016, I experienced a sudden, radical spiritual transformation that shifted my perspective. I realized Unity. I have forever changed my perspective – Nightmare was no more, lucid Dreaming began. For the first time in my Life, I saw the Universe and Reality as it is. The illusion was dropped.

That shift sent me on a journey through the ups and downs of every available form of spirituality that deeply reconstructed my sense of Self.

After all these years of searching, rebelling, transcending, acquiring new beliefs and dropping them, my Understanding settled on an idea of true simultaneity: living in a beautiful Dream-World we currently call Earth, yet knowing it’s source lies in Formless Chaos, and ultimately, beyond even that, in the Mysterious, Timeless, Absolute Reality.

In 2018 I moved to Japan, where I explored myself within and Tokyo without, for about 10 months. In March 2019, I discovered a job opportunity in Osaka’s International School, Creative Learning Academy, where I’ve had an immense pleasure of meeting its owner, Walker, who became a source of inspiration by following his Purpose and creating Life of his Dreams. That pure Passion and Creativity became a catalyst for my Sharing and aligning with my Purpose.

Life stopped being just about the ego of Adam and is now fully dedicated toward Service to Others. With your permission, through the power of your Desire and your Passion toward Life – I will support and serve you by Sharing my Experience.

It all starts with your state of being. It is your Birthright to be Free, Independent, Worthy, and Loved. All of that is already here. It is a given because you Exist. The journey is an Illusion, yet it has to be experienced to be understood – such is the paradox.

With that in mind, I wrote a book titled “Dream-Weaving” which explains the Knowledge part of getting what you really want and desire. I want to share what really works for me and I am fairly certain that it will work for you too if you want it enough! Enjoy!
