I’m Astralia and I love to present my writer’s path to you.
I have been writing for a long time, since I was a child, but I did not consider everything written in that period anything serious. A few years ago, I had the idea to write a novel and to include in it all the interesting things I was looking for but I didn’t find in other books. I’ve always had a passion for creative arts, but I never thought that I would become a writer. Even right up until I completed my B.A. (Hons) in Classical Studies at Queen’s University in 2009. While in school, I did take some formal writing classes, but I never found any inspiration. I’m from New York, but I was born in Texas and I met my wife in Los Angeles. We have one son, he’s in finance.

In 2014 his short story, ‘Scared to Death’ – the fictionalised account of the first British serviceman to be executed for cowardice during the First World War, was published in an anthology (‘The Clock Struck War’) by Mardibooks along with 22 other short stories to mark the centenary of the Great War.

Alex’s psychological thriller, ‘The Chair Man’ set in London following the terrorist attack in 2005 was published as an e-book by Fizgig Press in 2019 and as a paperback in 2020. It is his first full-length novel.

Alex’s claim to fame is that he is quite possibly the only person on this planet to have been inadvertently locked in a record shop on Christmas Eve.
