About Mission: Impossible to Surrender by Jacki Delecki
Navy SEAL Finn Jenkins will do whatever it takes to protect beautiful Sophie Dean, no matter the risk to his own life…or heart.
She’s not a party girl anymore…
Sophie Dean has worked long and hard to shed the rock-n-roll bad girl reputation she earned at college. With her rebellious days behind her, Sophie now uses the prestige of the Dean family name and money to bankroll humanitarian aid. The only part of her past she can’t leave behind is the major crush she has on Finn Jenkins. When danger from an unknown quarter threatens Sophie’s mission and she needs protection, fate steps in and delivers a second chance with Finn.
He’s the right man but she’s the wrong woman…
What started out as a childhood friendship grew into an attraction that would have meant nothing but trouble for straight-laced Finn Jenkins and Sophie Dean, a daddy’s girl who liked to party with rock stars. When Finn returns home to Seattle after two tours of duty as a Navy SEAL, it doesn’t take long to realize he still has feelings for Sophie, who is no longer the impulsive, irresponsible young woman he walked away from all those years ago.
If they survive the danger surrounding them, they might get a second chance at love…

How to wear a spotless crown like royalty?
About How to wear a spotless crown like royalty?
In How to wear a spotless crown like royalty?, I challenge the reader to take the difficult road of a necessary introspection as I once took the same path. Because I went through difficult times which lasted years by sequences, I had to do whatever was in my power to heal definitely .
Not thinking that the sad melody that was the soundtrack of my life was maybe gone but knowing by feeling its depart once and for all as I bid my farewell.
One of the beauty of art is the fact that it is the mind’s mirror of its servant. I am lucky to be able to use this intimate instrument for the purpose of restoring my soul and reconcile with my humanity.
What do I mean by humanity? I felt for a long time that I wasn’t worth a penny, I surrendered in front of my imperfections, i was lost. I was like the dolls I used to play with when I was younger.
Do you remember these specific dolls, the one that talked when you pushed the button behind it? Well this is it, you have it in your hands, it looks fine and pretty at first sight however, you soon discover its defect when it is unable to say a word as you push the button in vain.
This was me most of the time: broken in the inside while the outside seemed fine.
I accepted the fact that what I thought was insurmountable and the end of everything was just a way to make me spotless.
Yes, I have scars, however I’m whole. I am now able to wear my crown without complex knowing very well that during my lifetime I will be tried over and over again but I will be able to overcome any obstacles because once I fell hard in order to reborn from my ashes.
Failure is not a fatality, it is the way to sweep away the dust of our daily life.
This is the conclusion, I want for my readers to come to.
Even if I touch one soul, it will be enough.

To start I am not a scholar, a professor or a scientist. So, what am I trying to do here? I just started noticing that something real is happening to us, as a group. You can see it behind every screens (phone, tv or computer). You can feel it when you wander in the streets. You can just sense it. There is like an aura of self questioning which leads to an internal battlefield.
What can I tell you that you don’t already know with my twenty seven years of existence? Maybe nothing, however I can try to contribute a little by putting on paper what I am witnessing and what I went through as a young woman born in the 20th century and living in the 21th who hold two citizenships from two different continents.
I think that my background is important so you would have an idea about what drives me in that very exact moment behind my laptop screen.
I was born in France in 1992 by two Mauritanian parents (west Africa) but raised in a multitude of African countries until my majority. Then I flew in order to study. After a lot of traveling, discovering, learning, ups and downs, here I am years later, in Mauritania writing for you but also for me.
My identity is as complex as everyone else, shaped and constantly reshaped by some events I have been the witness of, my origin, my instincts, my intuitions, the different influences that this world brings to me, my books, the culture, my travels around the world from North to South, West to Est.
What you are about to read are my thoughts that I am trying to put in a very simple way. Writing has always been my safe place and easiest way of communication so there is no mystery here.
I almost forgot to tell you that I am a French speaker so English is not my first language. I have the choice to write in French (as I usually do) but since I do pretty well (not perfectly) in the language of Shakespeare, I decided to challenge myself.
Furthermore, this is also a way to touch a larger audience.
I don’t know what brings you here today, reading my words, but I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did while writing it.
Sincerely yours,
Petite Plume
SERUM: A disease-free world comes at a deadly cost by Dennis Ogden
About SERUM: A disease-free world comes at a deadly cost by Dennis Ogden
In 1999, during East Timor’s violent struggle for independence, Australian marine biologist Professor Marcus Glasson watched helplessly as a brutal militia leader abducted eight-year-old Noi de Jesus.
It takes eighteen years for him to fulfil his promise to rescue her. What he discovers could help him achieve his dream.
A rare sea worm, found in the volcanic vents under the Banda Sea, is the source of a serum that, when administered to pregnant lab mice renders their offspring immune to all known diseases. The immunity is passed on through following generations, offering the hope of a disease-free world.
Discovering the rescued Noi is newly pregnant, Marcus Glasson sees his chance to test the serum on a human and achieve his dying gift to the world.
As the unborn child’s father was her sadistic abductor, Noi is taken to Yeppoon, Queensland for her safety. There, Marcus succumbs to years of self-testing his own experiments and dies.
Noi is now alone in a strange land with no ID.
Fooled by an offer of help, she is violently assaulted.
As she lies comatose in hospital, the police pigeonhole her as an illegal Asian sex worker and pass the case to the Department of Immigration, where researcher Kailee Banks must decide the girl’s origin.
What she uncovers sets her, Noi and her unborn baby on a dangerous course.
The estranged adult son and daughter from the Professor’s failed marriage have their hopes of a rich inheritance shattered when they learn their father has been living a secret life in Dili, and a codicil has been added to his Will. They conspire with the baby’s father for a mutually beneficial outcome.
Death, greed, corruption, betrayal and the race to find another worm threaten the survival of Noi and her miracle baby.
It takes the Banda Sea to determine the outcome.

My name is Jessica, and I am a twenty-two-year-old self-published author. I come from a family of six. My mother is a university lecturer, teaching early years development. My father is a builder. I have two sisters and one brother. My eldest sister, Emma is twenty-seven years old and works at Introbiz in Cardiff. My other sister, Hannah is twenty-six years old, and currently working in a lab at a cheese factory, and my brother, Dion who is twenty-three years old is studying Criminology in university.
At the moment, I am working on my ninth novel, which I hope to finish and publish by the end of the year. I’m an accomplished author and book reviewer with four years of experience. I am very passionate about literature, creative writing and reading books.
In my spare time, I love to be outdoors, going for walks, visiting new places, reading, writing and playing with my two gorgeous cats, Dolly and Pippin. I also enjoy reviewing Korean dramas on my YouTube channel.
In about a year or two, I plan to enrol myself in university and study Korean in Korea! I have yet to make up my mind on this matter because I'm a bit of a homebody! So, at the moment, I would like to take some time out from the comfort of my own home and experience a different life independently, and to have time to calmly reflect on my future. To do this, I think spending a year abroad would definitely help me. Through watching Korean dramas and listening to Kpop, I have grown a desire to have first-hand experience of Korean life. I am particularly interested in experiencing what living in Korea is like since it offers a cultural context that is undoubtedly different from mine.
It's crazy to think that I'm an author. To this day, I still can't get my head around it, but when I write it brings a smile to my face. I might be young and unskilled, but I'm still learning.
I want to improve so that I can become a better writer, and inspire other writers to chase their dreams and write their own stories.
I remember a lot of people laughing at me when I said I wanted to write books, and because of that, I was determined to prove to people that I could do it.
I never thought I was going to be a writer. It didn't even cross my mind that writing books was something I was ever going to do. When I was sixteen years old, I was studying Performing Arts in college, preparing for a future in acting. It took me two years to realize that acting wasn't something I wanted to do. At the beginning of the course, my heart was set on becoming an actor, but by the third year, I completely lost interest in it. Acting didn't bring a smile to my face anymore. I think at that point, I started asking myself what it is that I enjoyed doing, and I couldn't think of anything other than reading books.
For the writers:-
I believe that everyone can write a story, whether it's a short story or a four-hundred-page story. The things that our minds come up with is just unbelievable. You are going to have people who either love your book or hate it, but don't let things like that discourage you, because, in the end, you can say that you've written a book. By yourself.

And in the process, will he find the answers to life that he’s been searching for since he was a child, go insane trying, or both? Read if you dare in order to find the answer. A vast majority of people desire to write a book, but there are only a few who manage to actually do so. Writing a book can prove to be a challenging activity, with many published authors also often struggling with the writing process.
Why does writing a book become such a challenge for most people? The solitary nature of an author’s work is one of the largest stumbling blocks of the writing process. The Long Way Home By D. L. Norris
About The Long Way Home By D. L. Norris
The Long Way Home is a compelling work of fiction set in 1950s Madison County, Nebraska.
At the heart of the story is Maggie Davis, a middle-aged widow and recent heiress to a grand Victorian manor. The stately home, which Maggie shares with her spirited nine-year-old daughter Jenna, also serves as a bed and breakfast to a once regular, but now transitory, clientele.
The kitchen table is the epicenter of lively, often contentious, dialogue where no topics are off-limits. An outspoken neighbor and routine visitor delights in keeping everyone on guard with her opinionated tirades but is frequently reigned in by an elderly, equally forthright family member who has recently become a permanent dweller at the manor.
Maggie finds herself struggling with the painful memories of her husband’s tragic death, as well as the stirrings in her heart associated with a new house guest. A scandalous scheme to swindle her out of her property rides on the heels of a sudden, unexpected death, pointing to a member of the family as a suspect. Set against an intriguing backdrop of family secrets, scandal, love, and humor, the story culminates with an emotional twist.
