But, as you can see I am always adding to that list.

I love all types of music as well. I often times find myself singing along to whatever is playing at the time. (That doesn’t mean I’m good at it, but I love to sing nonetheless.)

A lifelong dream of mine is to live in a house on the beach. There is nothing quite like falling asleep and awakening to the sound of waves crashing against the beach and seagulls talking to one another.

I have two children, three dogs, two fish, and seven cats. My children’s book series, The Adventures of Miracle, is based off of one of my cats.

I’m Dan Eitreim and I worked as a professional photographer running my own photo studio for over 20 years. I’ve never apprenticed or worked for any other photographers. Because of this, I’ve had to learn and develop my photography skills on my own.

My first attempts were dismal, to say the least…so I studied, practiced and developed my photo skills and along the way I not only learned how to put the “wow” into my photos, but I’ve also learned how to teach others to do the same!

To that end, I’ve compiled a 43 volume series of photo training lessons that I’ve titled: “On Target Photo Training”.

Biography
I grew up in Green Bay, WI, graduated from the University of Wisconsin- River Falls in December 2012 with a Bachelor of Science- Animal Science, and have worked in the youth development field, for both the YMCA and Boy Scouts of America. I currently work for UW-Stevens Point at Wausau.

​In 2013, I was accepted to publish with a vanity press. I published PB & J first, June 2014 and it took another two years to publish GUTS, June 2016. September 2017 was the start of this great new adventure, Dreambuilt Books. In 2018, I’ve published KIND (April 2018) and RESCUE (September 2018) and CELEBRATE (April 2019). I am a motivational presenter for writers & librarians, connecting my career and my passions. In both 2017 & 2018, I presented several topics at UntitledTown Book Festival.
