Where Awesome Book Readers Meet Awesome Writers
- Cerberus: Book 1 of Parish by P. K. Gallagher - Despite writing stories that take place almost exclusively in New England, speculative young adult fiction author P. K. Gallagher has lived in the suburbs of the south her entire life. It is to this that she attributes her love of the fantastic and the supernatural—writing such things was her only escape from the monotony of Suburbia. Gallagher graduated from Florida A&M University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a fervent desire to never set foot inside a newsroom again.
She currently lives in Atlanta and divides her time between working a day job, finishing her works in progress, and perfecting her plans for world domination.
- The Devil Drinks Coffee - Destiny Ford is a pseudonym for Angela Corbett. Angela graduated from Westminster College with a double major in communication and sociology. She started working as a reporter when she was sixteen and won awards for feature, news, and editorial writing. She has also done freelance writing. In addition to writing, she works as a director of communications and marketing. She loves classic cars, traveling, cupcakes, and U2. She lives in Utah with her extremely supportive husband and their five-pound Pomeranian, Pippin, whose following of fangirls could rival Justin Bieber's.
She writes adult titles under the name Destiny Ford, and YA/NA titles under the name Angela Corbett.
- Too Hot to Hold - When most girls her age were dreaming of becoming prima ballerinas, Linda had dreams of becoming the next Erma Bombeck, never mind the fact she was a ten-year-old Puerto Rican girl without a long-suffering husband or problems with her plumbing. But fate, (and her mother) had other plans. Instead, Linda became a teenage beauty queen and had minor success as an L.A. model. Forty years later and now more tarnished than her old tiaras, Linda is a writer who lives in Orange County, CA, with her husband and a dog named Dude. For information on her upcoming books, visit her website at www.LindaCousine.com
- 50 Keys To Better Photography! - I'm Dan Eitreim and I worked as a professional photographer running my own photo studio for over 20 years. I've never apprenticed or worked for any other photographers. Because of this, I've had to learn and develop my photography skills on my own.
My first attempts were dismal to say the least...so I studied, practiced and developed my photo skills and along the way I not only learned how to put the "wow" into my photos, but I've also learned how to teach others to do the same!
To that end I've compiled a 23 volume series of photo training lessons that I've titled: "On Target Photo Training".
I enjoy creating e-books and expect to be developing more!
- How To Self-Publish: A DIY Approach - I live in sunny Southern California with my husband, daughter and abnormally large cat. When I'm not writing, reading or blogging, I am teaching Biology and Algebra to teenagers. I'm also a classic film buff, passionate about Art History and love to travel.
- 19 Fall Craft Ideas For Kids: Inspiration From The Nation’s Most Creative Blogs by Isla Davis - Little Pearl has had a love affair with the world since the day she was born. Growing up near the ocean, Little has always loved to get her feet wet and jump into exciting new adventures head first. Her passion for writing developed as she traveled the world, exploring its wonders, learning new languages, and making many friends along the way.
Little Pearl's books showcase her passion for all things fun and delightful. From children's books to cookbooks and health to gardening, Little Pearl is always on the lookout for something new to share with her friends.
- A Far Cry from Sunset - Billy Franks was the lead singer and songwriter for "The Faith Brothers", whose two albums and six singles all made the UK chart. Billy has since released six solo albums to critical acclaim. Last summer he released a charity single in partnership with his friend, Prince Harry, to raise money for the Prince's African charity Sentebale.
In addition to his musical passions, Billy was recently the focus of a feature length documentary film, called Tribute This!
The film chronicles the adventures of 4 friends as they travel the world to ask some of its biggest stars, Springsteen, McCartney, etc., to appear on a tribute album to an unknown but worthy recipient of such an honour: Billy Franks.
Billy Franks lifetime dedication to his craft says it all. "Billy has devoted his entire life to song writing. He has given so much to others through his music. Dedicating ourselves to a project that would honor him was a no brainer on our part," said Mick McCleery. (Director of Tribute This!)
This autumn will see the publication of his book "A Far Cry from Sunset", chronicling the adventures of making the movie as well as stories from a musical career that involved touring with the likes of U2 and REM. In conjunction with the release of the book, Billy will release a live album entitled "From the Court to the Empire", recorded at London's famous Shepherds Bush Empire theatre.
In April 11th 2013, Billy and his band are headlining the two "Help for Heroes" charity shows at London's Apollo Theatre, appearing alongside such stars from the world of comedy and television.
- Pibbin the Small by Gloria Repp - Adventure, mystery, and wild creatures all play a part in Gloria Repp's many books for children. Over the years, her experiences gained from raising three children, teaching school, and editing have made useful contributions to her work.

My friends laugh at me when I scare myself watching them and tell me to stop watching them, but who doesn't love to get scared? I grew up in a small town nestled in the southern mountains of West Virginia where I spent days roaming around in the woods, climbing trees, and causing general mayhem. - Pearls of Passion - Be first to hear about new releases by signing up for Chantilly's announce-only newsletter at http://chantillywhite.com/contact.html#newsletter
Romance author Chantilly White writes sexy, romantic fiction in a variety of sub-genres: contemporary and historical romance, paranormal and fantasy romance, romantic suspense, and sports romance. She wrote her first 200-page novel at the age of eight, preceded by many shorter works, and holds a degree in Creative Writing/English Literature from the University of California at Riverside.
In addition to writing, Chantilly holds down the household, which includes her personal hero, her husband of more than twenty years, three children and three extremely-adorable-but-destructive-as-hell cats: Captain Jack, Commodore Norrington and Mr. Gibbs. The darling terrors are brothers she and her family adopted from a kitten rescue center after their mother was sadly killed by coyotes.
She loves to read, of course, romance in particular, but she enjoys many other genres as well, including mystery, suspense, fantasy and YA. While music is an important part of her life, she admits the majority of her favorites list is stuck firmly back in the 1980's. Chantilly also plays the flute and piccolo, though not as often as she'd like, and dabbles--badly--at the piano. For relaxation, she loves to scrapbook, spend time with family and friends, and plan her next grand vacation. There's only been one in recent memory, but she loved it so much, she is determined to make frequent travel a part of her life.
Chantilly loves to hear from readers. Please visit her website at ChantillyWhite.com to find out more about her current and upcoming projects.
- Surrender To You by C.S. Janey - C.S. Janey is a big fan of romance - writing and reading. Born in the USA, she is the mother of one, currently spends her days writing, reading, attending college to receive her BBA in Accounting, and protecting her son from himself as he pretends that he is a superhero.
"Surrender To You" is her first contemporary adult romance novel. Intended to be the first of a series, the story can be enjoyed as a stand alone. She also has many other works in progress and hopes to share them with the world soon.
She's in the process of writing two stories involving secondary characters from "Surrender To You" in addition to another completely unrelated contemporary romance. Look for more stories to come soon!
If you'd like to contact the author, please send a message through her Facebook page or on Goodreads! She will respond to anyone who isn't spam or a bot. ;)
- A Home for Wayward Husbands - A Home for Wayward Husbands is my debut novel. I enjoy making my characters miserable or rather they are miserable and I enjoy writing about their misery adding a sliver of triumph and a bit of love, here and there, to save them. I live in Northern California with a grumpy old dog and a Grumpa, my grumpy old husband. We love to travel the back roads of America looking for a place for the dog to pee.
Fortunately, you can’t take the South out of this ol’ gal. Ingrained with the impurities of being born and living Southern, and more importantly thinking Southern, I am Southern — much to the irritation of my blond purebred California surfer-boy-husband, who has to endure my need for Louisiana Hot Sauce.
I have characters living in my head, having conversations about the silliest things, and when I write down what they say, I find I don't include myself in their musings. I started my first novel while in high school on a napkin while I was eating Jello in Luby's Cafeteria. The Jello was terrible — never did like Jello — but the story, I'm sure was award winning. I think I accidentally scooped that story into the trash can on my way to out of Luby's to find another place to practice my fine art of being truant from L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, Texas.
I hope you enjoy reading about Bitzy and Beau. I know I enjoyed writing about their lives.
- Red, White, and You by Patricia Harreld - Patricia Harreld has been an inveterate reader since first grade. Her love of writing began in the fifth grade, when she won the county essay contest. At age ten, she began to develop what would be a lifelong interest in the world beyond our five senses. While working day jobs and raising a family, she still found time to take classes. She read every book she could get her hands on concerning all things paranormal. She enjoys writing books with paranormal themes, hoping her readers will ask themselves, “What if…?”
Patricia is also passionate about saving the Earth. She is an avid recycler and a staunch advocate of the Going Green movement. She lives with her husband in San Diego, California.
