Where Awesome Book Readers Meet Awesome Writers
- I Rize by S. T. Anthony - She has had a crazy imagination since kindergarten and is excited to finally put it down on paper. She is currently in college and loving every moment so far. She is True Blood obsessed and can't wait for the new season to begin!
Writing is her passion and she is excited for the release of her first novel called I RIZE.
- Ninja Nan and Sidekick Grandad - I was born in Hampshire in 1980. When I was little my family moved to Essex to be closer to her maternal grandparent's. This is where I spent my childhood and college years.
I never really knew that I was going to be a writer. Some writers do; they just know from early on that writing is the only thing for them. I thought I was going to be a million other things: an actress, ice-skater, archaeologist, astrophysicist, theatre director to name but a few.
It wasn't until I finished my English degree that I realised I was meant to be a writer, and even then it was a gradual process. It kind of crept up on me and consumed me until all I could think of, everyday, was writing.
I now lives in rural Suffolk with my partner Jason, who is a photographer, and our three home-educated children.
I get to spend my time doing what I love, writing. I would actually say that I am in-love with writing, which sounds funny but it's all I want to do.
Also, through my writing, I get to be all the things I wanted to be growing up and so much more. I can be a Ninja, or a deep sea diver, or a mad scientist or a vampire. I don't have to settle for one I can do it all and what's more I get to share it with my readers.
My first book, Ninja Nan and Sidekick Grandad, made it to the finals of The People's Book Prize last year!
- Unearthed - Jerri Drennen was raised on a farm in a small town in Minnesota. She met her husband and moved to Southeastern Missouri where they live today with 3 of their 4 children, her precious grandchildren, and an array of furbabies.
- John’s LOVE - 24 year old self-published author, just released his first Novel titled John's LOVE which is becoming a quick hit on Amazon Kindle, Smashwords, Nook, Kobo and iTunes. To learn more about him read his guest appearance on Suzan Collin's blog: http://suzancollins.wordpress.com/guest-blog-joshua-j-valentin/
- The Escort Diaries: Survival of the Lingerie Girls - Born and raised on Long Island, Rose Burke didn't fly far from the nest when she enrolled in the six-year-plan at Hofstra University, eventually graduating with a degree in Fine Arts. She sort-of writes a blog based on a bucket list of fifty things she's never done before. Even the small tasks challenge her to step out of her comfort zone and embrace her awkward tendencies. Not-so-shockingly, the most noteworthy moments of her childhood often included the Scholastic Book Fair, in particular the day Jon Scieszka signed her very own copy of The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales and labeled her his 'favorite stinker'.

- Sanctuary 12 by T.W. Malpass - Although T.W. Malpass is well read, he would consider himself more a student of film than of literature. His main passion is horror, and regularly attends London's Film 4 Frightfest film festival. Like one of his favourite authors, Clive Barker, he believes that fantasy horror is the neglected offspring of the genre and feels there is a great wealth of originality and talent to be found there.
The person that inspires him the most in life is Damien Echols (a talented artist in his own right, who is best known as one of the West Memphis Three http://www.wm3.org/)
Malpass hopes to write at least 20 novels before he becomes worm food.
- Lady Justice and the Lottery - Award-winning author, Robert Thornhill, began writing at the age of sixty-six and in four short years has penned fourteen novels in the Lady Justice mystery/comedy series, the seven volume Rainbow Road series of chapter books for children, a cookbook and a mini-autobiography.
Lady Justice and the Sting, Lady Justice and Dr. Death, Lady Justice and the Vigilante, Lady Justice and the Candidate and Lady Justice and the Book Club Murders won the Pinnacle Award for the best new mystery novels of Fall 2011, Winter 2012, Summer 2012, Fall 2012 and Spring of 2013 from the National Association of Book Entrepreneurs.
Many of Walt’s adventures in the Lady Justice series are anecdotal and based on Robert’s real life.
Although Robert holds a master’s in psychology, he has never taken a course in writing and has never learned to type. All 25 of his published books were typed with one finger and a thumb!
His wit and insight come from his varied occupations, including thirty-three years as a real estate broker. He lives with his wife, Peg, in Independence, Missouri.

- Children’s book: Justine, we’re late! by Shimrit Nothman - Shimrit Nothman was always terrified of Public Speaking. Perhaps that's the reason that the first thing she did at university was to join the university's debate team.
After completing her BA in Psychology and Communication at Haifa University, she joined the Debate Company. Shimrit lectured all around Israel, teaching children and adults from all walks of life how to overcome stage fright, and learn the tools that will help them better express themselves.
Shimrit Nothman had perfected the art of Conflict Resolution at a very young age. Her method was: AVOID CONFLICTS AT ALL COST!
Later on in life, she decided that other methods may work better, and so she attended Tel Aviv University, where she received her Masters in Conflict Resolution.
Shimrit lived in Australia for a few years before returning to her native Israel with her young family.
She writes a bi-weekly column in the Jerusalem Post online newspaper, called Family Matters, which focuses on conflict resolution in the family.
- A Dinosaur Ate Your Alien: A Tale of Cavemen in Space by Parker Moose - Parker Moose is an award-winning writer. That award? Outstanding newspaper carrier, 1989. As the third of seven children, he learned to eat quickly and share his Christmas presents at a very young age. His brain stores so much pop culture trivia that it has no room for real people's names. He lives in Northwest Indiana with his beautiful wife and two children.
