Where Awesome Book Readers Meet Awesome Writers
- Escape Guide to The Ultimate Gap Year: The Essential Guide To Your Year Out - Amar Hussain is Editor-in-Chief of Gap Year Escape, a leading Gap Year website. He is a veteran world traveller of six continents and a full time digital nomad. He is currently travelling down the world from Canada to Antarctica and everywhere in-between.
Amar believes that with stamps in your passport and good friends anything is possible. His travel highlights include road tripping in Eastern Europe, snowboarding in New Zealand and Canada, backpacking Guatemala and surfing in Australia.
- Synbat - West Point Graduate, former Green Beret and NY Times bestselling author Bob Mayer has had over 50 books published. He has sold over five million books, and is in demand as a team-building, life-changing, and leadership speaker and consultant for his Who Dares Wins concept.
He's been on bestseller lists in thriller, science fiction, suspense, action, war, historical fiction and is the only male author on the Romance Writers of America Honor Roll.
- Kabe Academy by Caleb Cameron - Caleb is 13 years old. He lives in Hawaii. Caleb has a very vivid imagination. He just discovered that he loves to write. This is Caleb’s first book. His 2nd book is in the editing phase. Caleb loves science and history. He also loves to go to the beach with his friends.
- The Code of Rellik - Darrell and Zachary Wood are a father and son writing team that have been writing for past ten years. The writing was started to bring them closer together and has exceeded its expectations. Over those ten years not one book, but three books have emerged all written in the same Sci-Fi universe.
Darrell is a former chemical worker. Zachary is a computer technician. Both father and son were schooled on movies such as Forbidden Planet and The Day the Earth stood Still. Their writing is "Old School" Sci-Fi at its best.
Darrell's hobbies, when he's not writing, include classic movies, cooking, and enjoying the fresh air.
Zachary's spends his free time enjoying board, video, and card games. As well as the occasional out door outing.
- Chopper Music - Jay Allan Storey was born in Victoria, BC, Canada. At the age of 19 he spent a year and a half traveling overland from London England to Australia, passing through many places in the news today, including Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and the Swat valley in Pakistan. Returning to Canada he worked at an amazing variety of jobs, from cab driver to land surveyor to accordion salesman, eventually settling down as a software developer for the web.
He finally set aside his technical background to concentrate on writing and music. He is the author of one novel, ELDORADO, one novella, CHOPPER MUSIC, and a number of short stories. He is currently working on a second novel, a second novella, and several smaller projects.
His stories always skirt close to the edge of believability (but hopefully never cross over). He is attracted to characters who are able to break out of their stereotypes (as Jackson Reilly does in CHOPPER MUSIC) and transform themselves.
He loves both reading and writing, and both listening to and playing music. He also enjoys cycling, traveling to exotic lands, and working with animals. He's crazy for any sport activity relating to the water, including swimming, surfing, wind-surfing, snorkeling, and scuba diving.
Jay is married and lives in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
- Eyes on the Bayou - Writer living in the beautiful foothills of California's Sierra Nevada mountains... in a house my wife and I built with our own hands.
- When Good Friends Go Bad by Ellie Campbell - Ellie Campbell is a pseudonym for sisters, Pam Burks and Lorraine Campbell. Transplanted from Scotland to England as teens, they took up writing between full-time work, world travelling and child-raising. Each of them had over 70 short stories published in major UK and international magazines before they decided to collaborate in writing novels, despite the fact that they live on opposite sides of the Atlantic.
- Fire and Ice - About Shawn Hilton
I joined the U.S. Army young and began writing as a way to entertain my mind. My stories have romance in some form or another (Even when it is a lunatic Vampire who thinks sleeping in his victim's blood is enjoyable.). I like my characters to have a thread of reality to them. Maybe their actions are fantastic and can stretch the imagination, their personalities, their reasons for their anger or other emotions all have to feel real to me.
I was born in Washington D.C. but was raised all through the states of Maryland and Virgnia. I have lived in Germany and Egypt. I have traveled through Europe and I look forward to more for both research and pleasure. I currently live in Germany where I am close to my three children who always with out fail are close to my heart.
I have worked as a soldier, a paramedic, and nurse. I have worked in a warehouse as a everything from stock boy, to floor manager, and I try to bring that feel of harsh reality and life lived into everything I write
About Toni Force
I have always enjoyed reading a variety of genres as long as the story is good. Romances however, have always been my favorites followed closely by fantasy or paranormal stories. Combine the two elements and I will re-read a story.
I hope the stories I write will encourage the readers to re-read the story just because they enjoyed the ride the first time.
I currently live in Michigan with my husband and two children.
- When Good Friends Go Bad by Ellie Campbell - We are Lorraine Campbell and Pam Burks, two sisters separated by the Atlantic Ocean and now connected as co-authors of Ellie Campbell, an excuse for endless phone conversations. Our books How To Survive Your Sisters and When Good Friends Go Bad are published by Arrow in the UK and rest of the world and through Amazon in the USA, along with our third novel, Looking For La La . We are equally passionate about writing, travel, horses, dogs, the outdoors, and although Pam now lives in Reigate, not far from London, with a husband, three children and a dog, while Lorraine is on a small Colorado ranch near wild and wonderful Boulder with husband, three horses, five cats, one dog and four chickens - we both believe in enjoying life to the fullest, be it digging up carrots in the allotment, listening to audio books while scooping manure in the corrals or going on a trail ride in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
- Lynna’s Rogue - Kitty Margo was a former hairstylist, secretary, seamstress and phlebotomist before venturing into the ranks of the self employed with a commercial cleaning company. This allowed her the free time to pursue writing. She has four books available now and is close to finishing her fifth.
She is a Twilight fanatic who frequently dreams of being bitten by Edward Cullen. Hey, he's a vampire so the 30 year age difference doesn't even matter!

In the summer months she hikes and water skis, and in the rainy, winter months, she writes about kiss-ass protagonists who aren't afraid to go after their dreams. As the mother of two gorgeous kids, Kim feels a great need to escape once in awhile and is a strong advocate of women's fiction, romance and avoiding house work.
