I was raised during a special and complex time but I retain memories of profound sensitivity and a love of knowledge that impregnated the experiences of my childhood. I look back fondly on my afternoons in the neighborhood. I can still see old the cinema where sensations, words and images appeared as if by magic before my wide eyes. Time advanced with its sure steps and my love for the seventh art spread to a passion for literature. In the pages of books I discovered that prodigious spark which unites the author's tale to the depths of our imaginations. Through reading, writing and the tests life uses to shape us, I learned and grew. Creation and vision nested deep within me. One day, four years ago, the stream of words and images that I had intoxicated myself with for so many years as reader and spectator, along with the clarity conferred by life's challenges, gave way to the writer that had been lurking within me, waiting for the chance to break free. That is how “THE BLEAK DOOR” was concocted, an intense and powerful tale, one that sticks to your skin as soon as you take it in your hands. We will travel its pages together, setting off as spectators. We will move quickly into a world of unique sensations, down a winding path paved with fear, drama, doubt and reflection. It will force us to look within ourselves, to flee, to rediscover who we are. It is my hope, dear reader, that we remain forever united by this experience and that we may journey together always. No surprise in the writer, no surprise in the reader.” ― Robert Frost Andrea writes fantasy, paranormal and historical romance. When not writing or reading, one may find Andrea dancing in Zumba. She is excited to work with Crimson Romance on her forthcoming debut paranormal romance, The Garnet Dagger. Everyone knows what happens when a vampire bites a human...but what if the victim is Elvin? Viking Fire is a forthcoming historical romance set in Ireland during the Dark Ages. What if you were engaged to marry your enemy-a Viking? Originally from Los Angeles, Alverson served as an Army Paratrooper before receiving his M.A. in Journalism from Columbia University. He has written for numerous publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Rolling Stone, and HELP! Magazine. Alverson has written ten novels, two children's books, several non-fiction works, survived a few helter-skelter sojourns through LA on the back of Hunter S. Thompson's motorcycle, and helped co-write the screenplays for Terry Gilliam's cult films Jabberwocky and Brazil. Alverson currently lives in Serbia, where he has resided with his wife since 1994.

On her first book, Dating Sucks: A Single Woman’s Confessions, Obsessions and Lessons, she appeared on over 80 National Talk Radio shows, becoming a “regular” on several major market stations as a humorist and “bad date expert.” This first novel, Dead Men Are Easy To Love, is an offshoot of sorts, from her previous book Dating Sucks. 16. The Bastion by Joshua Harkin - I am a 28 year old from Melbourne, Australia. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart, and have two crazy beagles. I am quite new to the writing world. I have just completed my first novel, The Bastion. It was a challenging experience that has sparked a new found passion. I have always had a love of story telling and didn't realize it. A little about myself, I studied animation and worked as a 3D animator for a children's television show. I found the animation industry to be quite rewarding, but very unstable in Australia. After that I worked in IT and now book keeping. I write in my spare time whenever possible and enjoy every minute of it.
