With the “Just for kids” series I plan on not only doing cooking but we will do some fun craft ideas to keep the youngsters entertained during holidays and weekends. So why do I write? Well because it is fun and it is somewhere for my creativity to have an outlet – apparently I am a Gemini because I am born in June and the year that I was born in was the year of the rabbit, now my research tells me that Gemini’s are very creative and very active they need to be learning and discovering something new constantly and because of the year of the rabbit apparently this helps to bring my creativity to fruition or in other words finds a way to make it come to life or applicable to my life - Yep that's me in a nutshell! ha ha ha

My heart, mind and soul bleed words for your enjoyment. To entice you, stimulate you, and captivate your spirit.
I've been writing for as long as I can remember. I wrote my first story when I was in seventh grade--A first person account of an entire summer. I went through a massive teen angst poetry phase, and I have notebooks and binders filled with prose.
Over a year ago, Ceithin and Aurelia showed up in my head. They yapped incessantly, demanding I sit and tell their story. After a month or two of being woken up with harsh whispers, I started writing. They haven't stopped, and in fact, brought friends. Now my head is filled with stories, scenes, snippets and crazy people.
Cue Law and Order music here: dun, dun.
These are their stories.
I write with emotion, occasionally a temper and I let my words flow free. I dabble in paranormal, contemporary romance, erotic fiction and darker urban fantasy.
Oh, and hey... I'm a Virgo.
I'm a writer.
A mother.
A wife.

I'm honest. I love dark Chocolate and am addicted to Ice coffee.
I have an odd sense of humor, and love the snark. I also swear like a motherfucker. Sorry about that. Maybe.

- The Punishment of the Gods by Jake Yaniak - I was born and raised in New Jersey; and I am New Jerseyan through and through, wherever life may take me.
For Christmas one year my parents bought me a Lord of the Rings computer game. I started playing it and was so inspired by the story that I put the game aside and did not touch it again until I had read The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Those books sparked within me a love of reading in general and a love of fantasy literature in particular.
My favorite genre, however, is philosophy, particularly as it relates to ethics and metaphysics. This, together with my love of the fantastic, is the inspiration for my writing.
In my reading I have seeen how ideas affect history. For this reason it has been important to me to not simply tell a story, but to show how the characters interact with different ideologies and ethical dilemmas. I want my readers to at least understand, even if they do not sympathize with, the villains of the story.

- Supercenaries - Hi, I'm Josh. I'm a 16 year old author from Essex, and I have been writing since a very young age. I am currently hard at work on a second novel, A Reclamation of Lost Balance, which features 4 kids who can control the elements, and is much more fantasy based than my first, Supercenaries. I love the work of Darren Shan, JK Rowling, George Orwell, HG Wells, George RR Martin and all Sci-Fi/Fantasy in general. Superheroes and comics are my passion, and my first (hopefully of many) novel, Supercenaries, is centered around characters and themes that are common within comics. I enjoy a lot of music, of film (in particular things such as This is England, Trainspotting and similar) and of videogames. I am a huge fan of Doctor Who, having watched all of NuWho and a large portion of Classic as well. I participate in a few extreme sports, but my main passions are reading and writing. In future I hope to pursue writing as a career, but as I am aware how hard it is to break into writing on a professional level, I want to train as an English teacher and work in a secondary school.

- Stop Fighting Your Weight: 10 Things You Wish You Knew - Curiosity may have killed that feline fur ball, but she or him learned a lot before exiting number nine. I too have been curious, wondering why we, I or they acted this way, looked or did it that way or were otherwise human.
But curiosity is such a casual word, and the truth is my desire to know was almost desperate. There were times in life that I felt angry when there was no one around, unhappy when life was just fine, times I had trouble with relationships for absolutely no reason, and I felt sad when…well, you get the idea.
That desperate curiosity, along with forty years of inner work, has lead to some interesting answers.
Besides curious, I am also a writer who began with a column in the San Jose Mercury News, nationally syndicated. My current project is this column and series of books, “Things That Make Life Better”.
I also love talking with those courageous people who are going for a positive change, and I live to see that eye-widening moment of understanding—the kind you will experience with this book.
So from the central coast of the North American west, I submit these curious book jottings of curiosity to be browsed by those who will hopefully find them just as helpful as they could have wished.
- The Candidate’s Daughter - Catherine lives with her intellectually and physically handicapped daughter, and a fox terrier that thinks he owns the house. She has sold international satellite capacity, worked in I.T. recruitment, and run her own communications store. Catherine’s love of writing began when she took an adult education class. Faced with the choice between writing and pottery, she figured writing would be less damaging to her nails. Who knew? Starting out with chick-lit and a couple of mysteries, she then dabbled in fantasy and Y.A before turning her pen to her long-time love, thrillers.
- The Orange Moon Affair by AFN Clarke - AFN Clarke is the bestselling author of the nonfiction book CONTACT, which was serialized in a British national newspaper and made into an award winning film by BBCTV. He also writes fiction of various genres. He’s lived all over the world, served in the British army, had a near death experience, lost half his insides and recovered from the physical and emotional traumas of war. A proud father of four daughters, screenwriter, pilot, race car driver, he loves to sail, listen to opera, cook gourmet meals, drink wine, read good books, have heated discussions and travel off the beaten path.
Writing mainly fiction these days, he favors politically charged thrillers, suspense and intrigue, humorous satire and books about the challenges of human relationships, all of which reveal his curiosity about the world and his strong belief in the overwhelming power of love, laughter and of the human spirit.
Books include: Contact, Collisions, An Unquiet American, Dry Tortugas, The Book of Baker Series (Dreams from the Death Age; Armageddon; Genesis Revisited) and The Orange Moon Affair, the first of the new Thomas Gunn suspense series with more coming soon. Please visit www.afnclarke.com for more information and leave your email for future updates. Deep appreciation for any reviews you post for this or other AFN Clarke books.
- Universe: The Edge Of Tomorrow - I am currently working on the next two novels in the Universe series. I began writing over 10 years ago. My computer crashed in 2007 losing much of my work. It was hard to pick it up and start over, but I think the novels are better for the time and effort.
A new character was born out of the chaos who steals the spotlight with his twisted humor and fractured personality. I have a background in science and medicine and like to explore the frontiers of these fields as well as physics and paranormal phenomenon in my fiction.
The Universe series is written for the New Adult age group in Science Fiction and Fantasy.
Coming in 2014 The prequel, Ocean of Dreams and the sequel, WARMOON !
