  3. Marvin’s Curse by Debra J Edwards - Debra lives in Surrey, UK in a rambling Victorian house with her husband and boisterous staffy, Buster. Debra feels this has paid off well and is now training to be a dragon slayer for her next novel...
  4. Wrong Place by Mitchel Grace - As I sit here trying to write a little about myself, I have to admit that I'm stumped. There's not too much to say. I am 25 years old, and I have always lived in Mississippi. My life has been pretty normal. I finished high school, got my college degree, and couldn't decide which way to go next. I have always had a passion for writing, so when I was alone one day, I started putting my words on paper. I enjoy writing fiction, mystery, romance, and action, all rolled into one. 13. Honeymoon For One - I've been sitting here for 10 minutes wondering just what I should put in my bio. I mean, my life is so normal and boring.....why would you want to know anything about me? Do you really want to know that I have three wonderful, energetic kids? Or that I love to eat plain chocolate covered brazil nuts? Or that I love listening to the rain falling? The heavier the better. Or that I can't get enough sleep? And that I'm always shopping for groceries? And that the kids never stop eating/fighting/hollering for me? But do you really want to know that what I crave most of all (more than the dark chocolate covered brazil nuts) is a good nights sleep? As in a full 8 hours (10 preferably) of uninterrupted sleep. Oh, and I love to write. From YA fiction to contemporary romance. It's in my romantic fiction that I get to escape........
  14. The Accidental Bachelor - Tim Holsten lives with his wife and four children in the beach town of Encinitas in North County San Diego. He is an avid runner, frequent Hawaii visitor, Special Olympics coach, memorizer of useless 80s pop culture, has worked in real estate and technology, and spent time in Boulder (CU Class of 1993, Go Buffs!), San Francisco and San Diego, all threads and settings that figure prominently into the humorous, yet grounded, story.

  17. Control Viewers! Make Your Color Photography “POP!” - I'm Dan Eitreim and I worked as a professional photographer running my own photo studio for over 20 years. I've never apprenticed or worked for any other photographers. Because of this, I've had to learn and develop my photography skills on my own. My first attempts were dismal to say the least...so I studied, practiced and developed my photo skills and along the way I not only learned how to put the "wow" into my photos, but I've also learned how to teach others to do the same! To that end I've compiled a 23 volume series of photo training lessons that I've titled: "On Target Photo Training". I enjoy creating e-books and expect to be developing more!

  21. Saving Your Way to a Better Life - I am a blogger and new author who is passionate about personal finance. I started blogging in 2009 as a way to help others save money, get deals and learn how to use coupons and other techniques to save money. As my blog progressed I learned that there are a lot of people who are struggling with finances and I wanted to help and that is when my book was born. I started writing my book "Saving Your Way to a Better Life" so that I could help others get a hold of their finances and learn how to save money and earn extra money as well. Teaching people about money is something that needs to be done and sadly it is not taught in schools. It is my hope with this book to help others learn how to get out of debt and think about their money differently.

  25. Spirit Of McEwen Keep - I was born in 1953 in a small town in Illinois to a broken home. As soon as I learned how to read I, basically, moved into our local library. I always enjoyed escaping to another world rather than live in mine. When I was old enough to be on my own I became a nomad and haven't stopped traveling since. I have been married for twenty-eight years to the same man although we've been together for thirty-three. He is my best friend and thoroughly understanding of my need to see what's on the other side of the hill. I couldn't ask for more. My three kids are grown and living their own lives now. So it's just me and my hubby, two cats, two dogs, two parakeets and three hermit crabs living down here in Alabama. I am new to the writing world. I've always escaped to someone else's but I decided to try creating my own. My fondest wish is to take someone else out of their hectic life and let them visit the world I would have. Hopefully, they might wish to live there as well. I chose Scotland as my favorite country simply because of their endless struggles against their enemies even knowing it was probably hopeless. They never gave up through it all...they persevered to hold on to their freedom at all cost. When I researched my genealogy a few years back, I found through my grandparents a direct line to Robert The Bruce with a connecting line going back through King David to Malcolm III. I have traced these lines clear back to the Picts, Vikings and Ireland. These were all grandparents that I am very proud of. Since then I have continued researching the history and times that they lived in. I hope some of it reflects in my stories. Anyway, I just want to say...welcome to my world.
  26. EVERY WHICH WAY BUT KUKU! - By the time Marta Tandori reached fifth grade, she was an avid reader and writer with a stack of short stories collecting dust in a box under her bed but it wasn't until she began studying acting in her early twenties at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York that Marta realized acting wasn't really her passion - writing fiction was. What followed was years of writing workshops as well as correspondence courses in writing for children through the Institute of Children's Literature in Connecticut. She credits the award winning author, Troon Harrison, as the instructor who helped her find her literary voice. Marta's first work of juvenile fiction, BEING SAM, NO MATTER WHAT was published in 2005, followed by EVERY WHICH WAY BUT KUKU! in 2006. With her more recent endeavors, Marta has shifted her writing focus to "women's suspense", a genre she fondly describes as having "strong female protagonists with closets full of nasty skeletons and the odd murder or two to complicate their already complicated lives". I have trained with and learned from Richard Bandler, Paul McKenna, Patrick Porter and other leading NLP-Master-trainers and am certified with the Society of NLP as NLP-trainer and NLP-coach. “You go first!” This motto has been leading me through my life and I am thankful that I have accepted full responsibility for my own thoughts, my own feelings, my own life and so I am experiencing moments of a deep, wonderful and ever increasing happiness each day. I am emotionally successful: I am healthy and fit, I do things I love to do each and every day, I love living, laughing and to travel and do it a lot, I am curious and fall in love over and over again – with life and my wonderful wife and partner Chris Pape with whom I am living in a wonderful loving relationship for more than 20 years now – living, working and loving together. As a writer's coach I support people to live to their potential and to get the thoughts inside their head out to the world as blogs, ebooks, books and to earn money in doing so. I do love to go into and be in deep relaxed altered state and to help others to do the same by teaching them self-hypnosis. I do love change, the only constant in the universe – as evolution and even more as revolution – and I do rechoice with the fact that achieving it is so simple and easy. I love to give away gifts to myself and others – my favourite gift is a smile, or even better a whole-hearted laugh. I deeply enjoy and appreciate our wonderful world and all she is offering to us. It has always been my vision to live in our wonderful world, filled with happy people. That is what I have been working for and striving to since my youth in my business and personal life - and I keep doing so in my committed way. With the model of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), dialectics and self-hypnosis I have united my view of the world with practical application. Sustainable food, regularly excersising are equally important to me and I love to spend time in deeply relaxed states each and every day and so I do enjoy achieving my goals in a playful and simple way. I invite you on a journey towards relaxation, serenity, lots of choices, humor, joy, happiness, love, to your emotional success. be wonderful! Tom
  34. Six-Gun Solution - Van Holt wrote his first western when he was in high school and sent it to a literary agent, who soon returned it, saying it was too long but he would try to sell it if Holt would cut out 16,000 words. Young Holt couldn't bear to cut out any of his perfect western, so he threw it away and started writing another one. A draft notice interrupted his plans to become the next Zane Grey or Louis L'Amour. A tour of duty as an MP stationed in South Korea was pretty much the usual MP stuff except for the time he nabbed a North Korean spy and had to talk the dimwitted desk sergeant out of letting the guy go. A briefcase stuffed with drawings of U.S. aircraft and the like only caused the overstuffed lifer behind the counter to rub his fat face, blink his bewildered eyes, and start eating a big candy bar to console himself. Imagine Van Holt's surprise a few days later when he heard that same dumb sergeant telling a group of new admirers how he himself had caught the famous spy one day when he was on his way to the mess hall. Holt says there hasn't been too much excitement since he got out of the army, unless you count the time he was attacked by two mean young punks and shot one of them in the big toe. Holt believes what we need is punk control, not gun control. After traveling all over the West and Southwest in an aging Pontiac, Van Holt got tired of traveling the day he rolled into Tucson and he has been there ever since, still dreaming of becoming the next Zane Grey or Louis L'Amour when he grows up. Or maybe the next great mystery writer. He likes to write mysteries when he's not too busy writing westerns or trying to find out when they are going to start making Twinkies again.
