Where Awesome Book Readers Meet Awesome Writers

  1. Goddess of the Moon by Polly Iyer - 2013-05-23 01:18:41-04
Polly Iyer was born on the coast of Massachusetts. After studying at Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, she traveled to Italy, lived in Atlanta, and now resides in the beautiful Piedmont region of South Carolina in an empty nest house with her husband and a drooling mutt named Max. Writing novels turned into her passion after careers in fashion, art, and business. Now she spends her time being quite the hermit in comfortable clothes she wouldn't be caught dead wearing on the outside, while she devises ways for life to be complicated for her characters. Better them than her.
  2. GETTING RID OF FALSE BELIEFS - 2013-05-23 01:19:44-04
M.C. Moya was born in Vienna, Austria. 3. The Jenner File. Saving Tara Goodwin - 2013-05-23 01:20:10-04
I served in the army for a number of years as a Special Operator. I studied Shotokan Karate and was graded by the Japanese master, H Tomita. I worked as a service engineer for a number of years which took me into all walks of life, hospitals, factories, American and British military installations, a nuclear power plant and a chemical and biological research establishment. These life experiences helped me to craft the story, The Jenner File. Saving Tara Goodwin.
  4. The Case of the Pig in the Evening Suit - 2013-05-23 01:20:33-04
I decided to write something that was different from usual detective stories: Jin Johnstone is not a policeman, not an ex-policeman, not ex-military, in fact not really a private detective. He is just an ordinary guy who wants to help other people with their problems. But that leads to problems of his own. As the trilogy progresses, he grows as a person and as an investigator.
  5. Slow No Wake - 2013-05-23 01:21:24-04
Dakota Madison has been writing since she learned to read and fell in love with books. When she's not at her computer creating spicy new romances, Dakota is traveling to exotic locales or spending time with her husband and their bloodhounds.
  6. Shadow and Steel - 2013-05-23 01:22:28-04
I'm James, and I live in a fantasy world. Okay, not really, but I write about them! It's Stephen King's fault. I read The Talisman when I was thirteen, and I was hooked. I knew I was going to be a writer. Of course, life had other plans, so I've had several different jobs! I proudly served in the US Army, and even drove 18-wheelers with my wife (my high-school sweetheart). Now I live and write in Montana with my wife and a Mini-Schnauzer named Jonesy. I also eat copious amounts of chips and salsa :) Life is good!
  7. Mistwalker by Naomi Fraser - 2013-05-23 01:23:02-04
Naomi Fraser is an Australian author whose love of stories began at age six when she cut her teeth on Enid Blyton's books. Encouraged by her parents (like they could stop her!) to keep reading, she devoured books on romance and poetry as though they were the most precious items on Earth. Romance gained the lead at age eleven when she read her first Babysitter's Club novel - you know the one with the hint of teen romance? Needless to say, throughout her school years teachers tagged her as, "The Bookworm" with good reason - she forever had her nose buried in a book. Not a thing has changed since she's grown older, except her love for the genre is deeper and her whole house resembles a second hand book store. She loves to write stories that appeal to the heart and soul of true romantics. She hopes everyone enjoys reading her tales as much as she loves writing them. Happy Reading.
  8. Lost Girls - 2013-05-23 01:23:57-04
Celina Grace was born sometime towards the end of the last century and wrote her first story, The Blue Ruby, at the age of seven. Although this early masterpiece was inexplicably ignored by the literary establishment, Celina persevered with her craft and a mere thirty years later, has published psychological thrillers The House on Fever Street and Lost Girls, plus Hushabye (A Kate Redman Mystery).
  9. Maxwells Silver Hammer - 2013-05-23 01:24:20-04
Andy Rivers has been a Butlins barman, labourer on a Spanish construction site, coach holiday rep, sandwich salesman and traffic cone washer to name but a few of his eclectic 'career' choices. Originally from Newcastle he now lives in Oxfordshire where he passes the time by generally dossing about. This is his first novel but he is also the author of `I'm Rivelino', (Byker Books) a hilarious account of the thirty years of hurt he has suffered at the hands of the Magpies. With the royalties from this book he plans on having a proper mid-life crisis.
  10. Vámonos! - 2013-05-23 01:25:10-04

  11. Phantom Angel - 2013-05-23 01:25:34-04
"Kathy Clark has had 23 romance / women’s fiction novels published by several publishers, including Harlequin and Dell which have sold more than 3 million copies globally in at least 11 different languages. Her books have appeared on the New York Times and USA Today Best Seller lists and she has received numerous industry awards including Romantic Times Readers’ Choice Awards. In 2013 two of her books won first place in The Best Indie Books of the year for Young adult and suspense. After spending several years writing screenplays she has returned to writing novels and has branched out into suspense, mainstream and young adult genres. She has enjoyed co-writing these latest books with her husband Bob Wernly under the pen name of Bob Kat. Kathy’s latest and 24th book published was After Midnight, a suspense set in Denver and is the first of a trilogy called Denver After Dark. It has been well received and reviewers, across the board, have rated it 4 and 5 stars. The trailer for that book can be found from my website at www.nightwriter93.com or directly on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxSkqqaD-2Q Bob Kat became active in 2012 with two projects published. First was the mainstream novel, Life’s What Happens, a fictionalized treatment of the 1969 to early 1970 anti-war movement as it played out at Kent State University. Bob Wernly was there, and the characters and thoughtful telling of the story was a fascinating insight into the era. The reviews have been amazing. The direct link to the YouTube trailer can be found at the following http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQBnqNNNHUE&feature=plcp But after several years of contemplating where to take their newly launched co-writing career, they concluded there was a mutual and burning passion to spend their time writing for young adults. The passion stems from the many real-life stories of teen suicide, bullying, runaways, abuse and drugs. Add to that, the caustic nature of the television and film content that most certainly weighs on this age group’s ability to maintain a positive healthy outlook as they mature into their twenties. The CUL8R time travel action adventure series was inaugurated in December, 2012. There are many unique features of this series, and the positive message it will send to its readers will be awesome! That’s right, awesome! Really. Actually, it will be epic! The series website is www.cuul8rseries.com Book #1, OMG was published in eBook and paperback in time for Christmas. And no zombies or vampires were killed in the making of the series! "

  16. Broken Birdie Chirpin by Adam G. Tarsitano - 2013-05-23 01:45:48-04
Adam G. Tarsitano was born in 1977. He obtained a bachelor's degree in English and Literature from Binghamton University before graduating from St. John's University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate. He currently lives in North Carolina with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys writing (when inspired to do so), playing basketball, spending time with his family, and listening to music. Broken Birdie Chirpin, his debut novel, was created out of a desire to combine his love of rock n' roll (and its mythology) with an engaging coming of age tale. As the characters began to take on lives of their own, so did the story. The result: The writing process became one of the most rewarding experiences of his life. He hopes someday to replicate that magic with a second offering.

  20. A Diary of Greed and Lust - 2013-05-23 02:51:28-04
Elia Mirca (which is a short version of her real name) spent her childhood in the Romanian village Neustadt, which is called Noiştat in the local language and Noul in some dialect. Later she moved with her family to the United States, where she lived for a short time in Boston and then moved to Germany, where she finished her degree in mathematics. After working some years as a software engineer for aerospace companies, she decided to follow her inner voice and her passion to write. To finance this, she took a job as a teacher, which also offered her the opportunity to teach at various schools in Asia. In a course at the University of Queensland, Australia, she learned to know and love that country. Most of her time she spends in Brisbane interrupted only by occasional visits to California. A word about my books: After a friend read the first version of "Julie's Passion: A Diary of Greed and Lust" he turned back to me saying: "Never judge a book by it's cover. Or in your case, by the first impression". Yes, my books are about sex, erotics, love and some kind of romance. But if one dives deeper into them other topics become the golden thread: psychology and the way we communicate. The way Juliane (or later Julie) makes her way through the world is one I call the "Bonobo way". Don't know about Bonobos? The are a kind of apes, close to chimpanzees. Other than the latter Bonobos solve any conflict through sex and tenderness. They even communicate by having sex. Chimpanzees solve conflicts violently. Humans share both sets of genes with these primates. So we can choose how we solve our problems. What way wins?

Harma-Mae Smit is currently surviving your typical tumultuous twenty-something years, but through it all has clung to three constants in her life: God, travel and writing. Despite her strong Dutch-Canadian roots, she's discovered a small piece of Brazil in her soul after venturing onto the South American continent. Her love of travel, though, is rivalled only by her life-long love of writing. Her fingers felt the itch even before she could spell, requiring the conscription of her mother to spell out every word of her story that had to be written.
