- Heart-Strong, by Bonnie McCune - 2013-05-08 05:33:58-04
Bonnie McCune Biography Bonnie McCune has been writing since age ten, when she submitted a poem about rain rushing down the gutter to the Saturday Evening Post (it was immediately rejected). This interest facilitated her career in nonprofits doing public and community relations and marketing. She’s worked for libraries, directed a small arts organization and managed Denver's beautification program. Simultaneously, she’s been a free lance writer with publications in local, regional, and specialty publications for news and features. She is co-author of a book, Recruiting and Managing Volunteers in Libraries (Neal-Schuman Publishers, 1995). Her civic involvement includes grass-roots organizations, political campaigns, writers' and arts' groups, and children's literacy. For years, she entered recipe contests and was a finalist once to the Pillsbury Cook Off. A special love is live theater. - The Terminus Project - 2013-05-08 14:56:16-04
I'm a writer living in Ohio, or fly over country for those living on the coasts. I've been writing on and off for about 30 years. I have 2 kids, 3 annoying cats, and a dog who thinks he's a kid. I like to write in the evenings when the chaos that is my daily life has calmed. I write the sort of things I like to read. I like Sci-Fi and Fantasy. One day, when I work up enough nerve, I'm going to write something huge and epic, think Tolkien. That day is in the future and I'm not sure when I'll get there.
- Stop Emotional Eating, Fix Food Cravings, Find Your Metabolism and More - 2013-05-08 19:09:04-04
Beth Castle - Dietary Technician, Author, & Speaker. I wrote this audio and book to help lessen the pain associated with food. I could not stand by and feel the pain that others felt when I knew I had THE tool to stop the pain! When I was 14-years-old, my best friend was diagnosed with diabetes. Being a compassionate, caring friend, I tried to support her. She only pushed me away, and along with other teen challenges, our very close friendship became distant and strained. My best friend took one path in life and I chose another. Even though I had my own issues and struggles, my best friend chose a path that seemed more difficult than mine. She chose to find help elsewhere. Even after I lost touch with her, I was influenced to help people like my friend by entering the health field. Unfortunately, I don t see my friend very much anymore, but I am grateful for the influence that she had on my life. When I meet with new clients, I am reminded of my former best friend s sadness and that reminds me about why I try to help. I graduated in 1986 as a Dietary Technician. In the ensuing years I worked with a local health region and Alberta Agriculture, helping people with food issues. Since 1993, I ve coached hundreds of people helping them eat right, lose or manage their weight, and generally feel better about themselves. I ve successfully coached strangers as well as people personally close to me. Whenever my clients told me, You know what is working the best for me...? I would encourage them to write down all of those things that they noticed about themselves and their relationship with food. In the long run, writing down the things that they perceived as contributing to their success would be the very ideas that would ensure their success for the future. Especially what was going on for them with regards to Emotional Eating! Great idea or what! I told my clients that if they would write their ideas about what worked for them in controlling their relationship with food, it would be like their own little weight management bible, written by them, just for them, and exclusively about them. It would help them understand how they tick almost like an owner s manual that each person would write for himself or herself.

"Kathy Clark has had 23 romance / women’s fiction novels published by several publishers, including Harlequin and Dell which have sold more than 3 million copies globally in at least 11 different languages. Her books have appeared on the New York Times and USA Today Best Seller lists and she has received numerous industry awards including Romantic Times Readers’ Choice Awards. In 2013 two of her books won first place in The Best Indie Books of the year for Young adult and suspense. After spending several years writing screenplays she has returned to writing novels and has branched out into suspense, mainstream and young adult genres. She has enjoyed co-writing these latest books with her husband Bob Wernly under the pen name of Bob Kat. Kathy’s latest and 24th book published was After Midnight, a suspense set in Denver and is the first of a trilogy called Denver After Dark. It has been well received and reviewers, across the board, have rated it 4 and 5 stars. The trailer for that book can be found from my website at www.nightwriter93.com or directly on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxSkqqaD-2Q Bob Kat became active in 2012 with two projects published. First was the mainstream novel, Life’s What Happens, a fictionalized treatment of the 1969 to early 1970 anti-war movement as it played out at Kent State University. Bob Wernly was there, and the characters and thoughtful telling of the story was a fascinating insight into the era. The reviews have been amazing. The direct link to the YouTube trailer can be found at the following http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQBnqNNNHUE&feature=plcp But after several years of contemplating where to take their newly launched co-writing career, they concluded there was a mutual and burning passion to spend their time writing for young adults. The passion stems from the many real-life stories of teen suicide, bullying, runaways, abuse and drugs. Add to that, the caustic nature of the television and film content that most certainly weighs on this age group’s ability to maintain a positive healthy outlook as they mature into their twenties. The CUL8R time travel action adventure series was inaugurated in December, 2012. There are many unique features of this series, and the positive message it will send to its readers will be awesome! That’s right, awesome! Really. Actually, it will be epic! The series website is www.cuul8rseries.com Book #1, OMG was published in eBook and paperback in time for Christmas. And no zombies or vampires were killed in the making of the series! "
