- Hostile Witness by Rebecca Forster - 2013-05-05 01:45:29-04
I marketed a world-class spa when it was still called a gym, did business in China before there were western toilettes at the Great Wall and mucked around with the sheep to find out exactly how my client’s fine wool clothing was manufactured. Then I wrote my first book on a crazy dare and found my passion. Now, over twenty-five books later, I am a USA Today and Amazon best selling author and write full time. I wrote for major publishers for many years before becoming an independent. My first independent novel, Before Her Eyes, was given the B&P Readers Award for Best Mystery and the Witness Series spent over a year on the U.S. and U.K. Amazon bestseller lists. I earned my B.A. at Loyola, Chicago and my MBA at Loyola, Los Angeles. I have taught the Business of Creativity at University of California Long Beach Writers Certificate Program, UCLA and UC Irvine extension. Married to a Los Angeles Superior Court judge, I am the mother of two grown sons and spends my free time traveling, sewing, and playing tennis. I also spend time writing to readers. In fact, I still write to the first fan who ever sent me a letter. I am so lucky to have pen pals who love books as much as I do.

- Ancient Echoes - 2013-05-05 02:19:56-04
Joanne Pence thought she would become a journalist, specifically, a foreign correspondent who would live and work in exciting places all over the world....and then life, marriage and kids came along. But that was okay, because she turned to fiction, where the "story" could turn out the way she wanted rather than the way reality dictated. Joanne wrote two romantic suspense novels, and the second morphed into the Angie Amalfi mysteries, a culinary mystery series set in San Francisco. There are now 15 books in that series, and Joanne became a USA Today bestseller with it. Joanne lived in Japan for a while, and also worked as an analyst for the Federal Government. She was born in San Francisco, and now lives in the beautiful foothills north of Boise, Idaho with her husband, and several pets including a border collie who keeps tabs on everyone, and three cats who refuse to be herded by the collie. She loves old movies and knitting, and is a founding member of the Idaho Writers Guild. ANCIENT ECHOES is her first thriller--a paranormal thriller set in a remote area of her adopted home state of Idaho.

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Cheyenne McCray would give just about anything to run away with Jason Bourne to any foreign country (minus the getting shot at part) or visit an Otherworld realm. Either one, she's so there. A multiple award-winning author, Cheyenne grew up on a ranch in southeastern Arizona. Chey has been writing ever since she can remember, back to her kindergarten days when she penned her first poem. She always knew one day she would write novels, hoping her readers would get lost in the worlds she created, just as she experienced when she read some of her favorite books. Chey has three sons, two dogs, and is an Arizona native who loves the desert, the sunshine, and the beautiful sunsets.
