When I reflect on the defining moments that helped me realize writing as my passion, I would have to name the time I wrote my first editorial article around the age of fourteen. I had worked diligently on that piece and was pleasantly surprised to discover a very popular newspaper had published my work in the main section of the editorial page. The praise and confidence I received from this first publication sparked my love for writing. In addition, I enjoyed the feeling it gave me of relating to and supporting others.

Although I knew from a young age that writing was my passion,I didn’t always pursue writing as my career. There was a time when I successfully worked for a government organization as an engineer and manager. However, this was not where my heart was and I soon became burned out and exhausted from not pursuing my life’s purpose. I didn’t want to work anymore for government organizations, I didn’t want to pursue different opportunities with my engineering degree, and I turned down quite a few opportunities to attend high-end MBA colleges. I wanted to write. My first debut book is of the self-help nature, and it is called The Goal Getter. Like many of us, I have experienced low moments where I was struggling and felt down; influential self-help books played a huge part in helping me pull myself out of these ruts. The Goal Getter offers valuable advice, real-life accounts, and realistic solutions to achieving goals!

If you ask anyone about their life’s goals, most people will have a quick answer. We all have goals of which we want to achieve; however, we often fall short due to the adversity we meet or by becoming overwhelmed by our own big dreams. The Goal Getter provides strategies to overcome those obstacles and to aid you in reaching your goals and achieve mastery within your chosen industry! For example, writing a book has always been one of my overarching goals. I used the framework described in my self-help book to make that goal a reality!

I firmly believe that we learn best by making mistakes and by learning from the mistakes that others have made. As such, I make sure to relay my own struggles through my writing so others may learn from my own failures and experiences. I guess you can say that I made the mistakes and experienced the hard failures so that you don’t have to! When I am away from my office, I enjoy relaxing by furthering my education and reading books. Will Startle is the author of the Story Warriors series of books. Initially trained as a biochemist Will realised that his brain wasn’t designed for the organisation and accuracy demanded by the sciences. He then pursued his ambition of becoming a writer before struggles with illegible handwriting and manuscript losses forced him to abandon this as a career option.

Most of the major characters were introduced in the first three Graphic Novels through Marooned, these were followed up with the other five titles.

As the Graphic Novels progressed we began to introduce other story medium with lowered barriers to enter as we saw that Community was beginning to insist on participating in growing the story canvas. We eventually ended up with Micro Stories, and eventually to the Short Stories.

We have now begun converting our stories into Paperback.
