Niddy Witch is a collaboration of two co-authors Chris Williams and Rob Nesbitt who are based in (Monmouthshire and Glamorgan) South Wales in the UK.
Rob is a published cartoonist and when he first met Chris they had a common bond as Chris was looking for someone to illustrate a short children’s book. They found that collaborative writing worked for them and tried out a several ideas and plot lines before settling on the project for their first book ‘Andorra’s box’ – a children’s mystery adventure.
Andorra’s Box was intended to be a series of seven linked short books of around 5000 words per book. The writing process actually took a lot longer than first anticipated at over 5 years!!! Eventually the book was scaled down to six larger books then reworked into it’s present format of a single adventure in one book at over 35,000 words. The format is still in six linked books with chapters but as it was the first book in the Andorra’s box trilogy it was decided to place the complete adventure into one large volume.
The second of the Andorra’s box trilogy is scheduled for release on the kindle platform for early July 2015 and the final book will be published in September 2015. These will be complete adventures and following feedback from readers reviews and comments there will be more illustrations in books 2 and 3.

‘Co-authorship’ is something which works really well for Niddy Witch as Chris and Rob have a similar sense of humour and bucket loads of imagination which is essential for the creative plot and story lines to keep children turning the pages. The biggest advantage of co-writing is motivation with a constant tennis match of ideas – sometimes far too many! This style of writing isn’t suited to most as ego’s and personality clashes often get in the way. In this case Niddy Witch is very fortunate as it works!

Slavery in America was a dark period, but the whole story is not being told, as a nation, we can only heal old wounds by addressing them. Racial double standards in America today should not be tolerated. Africans enslaved Europeans and Europeans enslaved Africans among other nationalities. The Irish and poor Europeans were commonly enslaved and shipped off on slave ships on a regular basis. After thorough research to write this book. I have learned a number of things about slavery that prior to this I had no idea existed.

A young man, Igor, adopts as his mother a middle aged woman, Sylvia, after meeting her in a café, each having come from the nearby cemetery. In taking it upon himself to investigate the gruesome death of Sylvia’s son, Igor soon finds himself confronting racists. Sylvia is black; Igor is white. The deeper he delves, the more intricately embroiled he becomes in the activities of drug traffickers in Los Angeles, and the more he becomes the focus of a police investigation himself.
The heroes and villains are not difficult to spot – they might, if this were an old Western movie, almost be wearing white and black hats respectively. Then again, the hats could be misleading. Igor’s appetite for polyamorous relationships is not exactly respectable. Nor is his willingness to match the brutality of those he seeks to outwit as he immerses himself within a tangled web of deception and violence.
The use of the ampersand character in the title imitates its usage by photographers when referring to ‘black & white’ images, and is intended to denote a synthesis of the individual terms into a unitary whole.

Erol Rashit was born in London. He studied ecology at the University of Liverpool, and obtained a PhD from the University of London for research into the effects of environmental fluctuations on species diversity. During a period as a photographic artist, he had several one-man shows but these generated little in the way of income. Eventually, he resorted to paid employment, qualified as an accountant and for several years held the post of Chief Accountant at Imperial College. Having made enough money to fund his future (modest) requirements, he has withdrawn from the ‘rat race’ in order to concentrate on his main interest: techniques for examining the illusion of ‘the ghost in the machine’ and for tracing consciousness back to its true source.
