All kids have varying types of problems when growing up, however, as parents we need to teach the kids how to learn certain acceptable behavior and codes, through boundary setting, in order help them pass through such stages without them suffering from the negative side effects.

Learning to define boundaries for kids will not only help the kids to grow and mature with age, it will also help you to become a better parent, because you kids will learn to value your efforts because they know the consequences of violating boundaries. Psychologically, children will feel more secured especially when their parents stick to the limits they set, however, when parents break limits and become inconsistent with the boundaries they set, then the kids will become misguided.

Most families are struggling with behavioral issues because they realize very late that boundaries are the only way to get kids to conform to positive habits.
