Worse of all, he smells. Sweat and melted snow are not a good combination. “How am I supposed to pick up dames later in this state Blast? Perhaps we should give it a rest?” Mohammad Blast ignored the warped imp. He swung his nippy rope at Shane who hardly dodged it. The protector immediately followed the strike with a dozen more whipping motions aimed at the subject of his baby-sitting job. One of the strikes caught Shane by one of his ankles. The nippy rope wrapped around it just before Blast pulled at it sending the imp-fairy hybrid on the snowy ground once more. [I love this part. As in.] “Pathetic. Again.” “I can’t stand. I think you broke my ankles,” Shane pleaded. “I did not break your ankles. But I’m sure a real enemy will do more than just break your ankles.” Shane stood up and defended himself once more. There was no negotiating with Blast. Not when it comes to training. Shane wished he could talk Blast into putting less emphasis on nippy rope training. It was the only other downside of their migration to Frabenesh aside from the fact that he still has to wear his imp mask when in public. Once or twice he spotted a fairy dame on the streets of Sludgeside but couldn’t approach her because of the barking mask. Blast went on with Shane’s training for one more hour. He seems to be lengthening training hours each passing day. At least that’s how it seems to Shane. I’m not planning to do any fighting. Shane wished he could finally tell Blast. I’m just going to keep looking for a permanent safe place to hide. Blast walked towards the house carefully as always. He’s not sure who lives in it. Blast motioned for his hand to pull out his nippy rope from his belt. It wasn’t there. Then Blast remembered dropping it while he fell from the sky. The memory flashed in his mind. He also remembered another important detail. Shane blunder. They took Shane! I failed to protect him. They took Shane!!! Blast hurried his steps once the realization that Shane is gone dawned on him. He was hoping it was a dream. But Shane not being on his side is no dream. Blast peered through what seems to be the window of the house. He saw the source of the warm light. He also saw some food on a large table. Everything appears to be larger than usual inside. The chairs, the table, the plates on it, etc. Then it hit Blast that a giant must own the place. He had the sudden urge to run and escape. But he remembered that he was hungry and that there appears to be no one at home. Blast tried the extra-large front door. It opened with ease. He peered at house from behind it. No one is indeed at home. He hurriedly went to the table and ate his fill. The food tasted strange but it wasn’t bad. Blast rested for a moment and examined himself. He was bruised in some places. And time to take some anti-nausea medication, as the killing becomes more and more graphic. Good luck.
