It will be fair to say that Sonador Snow’s writing career started when he was about two! At about that age his mother ‘crippled’ him for life with a vivid fantasy after starting to read to him books like ‘The Hobbit’ and ‘Lord of the Rings’ every night.Once Sonador started reading himself there was no stopping him and he soon turned into part of the furniture at his local library. The first stories Sonador created himself are long lost now. In his teenage years he started entertaining his annoying little sister on the back seat of their family vehicle with fairy tales he was inventing on the go. Nothing is left of them and all he can remember is that there was a rabbit, a prince and a naughty tortoise. He can’t tell if the stories were good or not, but the fact was that his sister kept quiet during the long journeys and sat listening to him.
After battling his way through all the ranks of education and trying to build ‘a happy’ life following all the rules of the rat race for years he finally decided that it was about time to give up the impossible and start living miserably but doing what he likes most – writing and reading. Sonador spent several years ghost writing novels for others and eventually he decided to try and write one himself. “Quest for Babylon’s Soul” is hardly a classic, but if you like Indiana Jones and all masters of the suspense genre you might like this one too.

Darren Lewis was born in Cardiff in 1975 and now lives with his family in Norfolk. Although an avid reader of many genres it wasn’t until his daughter, Ellie aged 6, asked for a story of her own that inspired him to put pen to paper. “Ellie and I would like to make up bedtime stories, mainly about a kangaroo that travelled the world and have adventures.” These bedtime stories would lead to a first book in the trilogy. ‘Ellie and the Rabbits’ in which our young heroine meets a group of talking rabbits. “My main goals were to induce a sense of wonder for my daughter, a sense of purpose and the importance of helping others.” A short book of poems for children followed and the sequel ‘Ellie and the Dragon’ was published in August and the trilogy was completed and published in December 2013 in ‘Ellie and the Battle.’ The independent publishers Creativia added the books into their portfolio in early 2014 and published then as an omnibus edition entitled The Seren Trilogy. Are the killings cult sacrifices or something else? Will Marie and her friends be able to figure out what is going on?
“Secret of the Big Easy” has plenty going that grabs the reader’s attention and keeps it until the final page. The suspense surrounding the murders that Marie is seeing in her visions is really first rate. I was born and raised in Somerset, growing up with a love of books and writing. I was always surrounded by books as a child, with a love of them inherited from my mum who taught me to read before I started school. I can honestly say that I lose hours when I’m in writing mode; it’s my relaxation and escape. Just as reading a good book takes me to another world or time, so does writing. I can also indulge and incorporate some of my other loves, such as history, music and theatre. I decided to self publish my first novel after realising how time consuming it was trying to find an agent or publisher. Hello. I’m Alaric Longward, a loving dad and a hopefully good a husband. All is all, I’d say I’m generally a pretty fortunate guy. I remember sitting on my grandma’s frazzled couch, staring doggedly at an old Tarzan movie. I must have been some six years old and her TV was black and white, which was fine since the movie was of a like mind. I remember being both scared out of my young wits and excited as a fish in a feeding frenzy. I also remember resenting the fact that I could not finish the movie, since mother picked me up, entirely unheeding of my reasonable requests of wanting to witness the inevitable rescue of the gorgeous girl by bleeding Tarzan from the dangerous, ravenous beasts and even more dangerous locals who had a curiously furious way to treat their unsuspecting and under armed quests. Later on, I gorged myself on the fine stories of the Scarlet Pimpernel by Emma Orczy, the Black Tulip by Dumas, and the many adventures set in the medieval and Renaissance setting with the fiercely panty hosed Errol Flynn. Errol Flynn in Captain Blood? Just great, hard to beat. I loved the American westerns, like Rio Bravo as much as a dashing story by Jules Verne in the Michael Strogoff: The Courier of the Czar. I quickly discovered reading as TV in those days was showing something worthwhile perhaps twice a week and I needed my dose of excitement. Soon, I had a bookshelf full of comics of many kinds and still wish to thank Robert E. Howard for brutally cunning Conan and Edgar Rice Burroughs for likely the best of the best in adventure stories: the gentleman of the south, John Carter of Mars. As I discovered that the simplified movies and short comics were just a part of the original stories, I moved from comics to books, loving the aforementioned heroes and historical stories specifically, but also sci-fi by Asimov and fantasy of the Forgotten Realms. So, adventure is what I will do, and hope you enjoy it as well, for my books will be furious adventures. They will be long, for I am one of those people who hate when book is nearing its end. There will be simple and complex plots both and the characters will be sometimes terribly flawed. I also try to make the books accessible to many cultures, but keeping them simple enough to be enjoyable across a wide spectrum of history and adventure freaks.
