Kenneth Gordon Eade is an American environmental activist, author and lawyer, best known for his legal and political thrillers. Eade’s first bestseller on Amazon.com was “An Involuntary Spy,” a fictional spy thriller that critics have said has broken wide open the GMO controversy. The story follows a rogue scientist working for an American biotech firm who goes on the run from authorities after stealing information from his employer which proves government collusion and a cover-up of fraud surrounding the dangers of the company’s genetically engineered foods.His second novel, “Predatory Kill,” tackled the big banks, and is the first of a legal thriller series in which the series character, lawyer Brent Marks, tackles a wrongful foreclosure lawsuit against a major bank that turns into a murder investigation.

Kenneth Eade attended the Honors Program at El Camino Real High School, which allowed him to attend classes at Los Angeles Pierce College at the age of 15. By the time he graduated from high school in 1975, he had amassed over two years of transferable credits. He graduated from California State University, Northridge, before attending Southwestern Law School, where he graduated in 1980 the youngest member of his class. After Southwestern, he practiced civil and criminal law for about a decade, then went into business law with an emphasis on securities law, and civil litigation.
In 2011, Eade began writing opinion pieces for the Los Angeles Daily Journal. Two of the articles centered on the subject of the unconstitutionality of the now defunct Monsanto Protection Act, and the dangers of genetically modified foods and neonicitinoid pesticides and their adverse effect on bees. This led to his first book, the non-fiction work, “Bless the Bees: The Pending Extinction of our Pollinators and What You Can Do to Stop It” in 2013, as well as the children’s book, “Bee See: Who are our Pollinators and Why are They in Trouble?”
Eade practiced law from 1981 through 2013, mostly in Ventura County, California https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ventura_County,_California, practicing business law and civil litigation with an emphasis on securities. The notable cases of his career included cases against the credit behemoths, Experian, Transunion, and Equifax, as well as against the major banks.
In 1998, Eade began producing television programs; first the celebrity interview series, “Faces and Names,” which he succeeded in syndicating in the United States, and then the award winning celebrity interview series, “Autograph.” In 2006, he produced the feature film, “Say it in Russian.” for which he obtained an avant-preimere at the Monte Carlo Television Festival and a limited release in 2008 in Carmike Cinemas in the United States.

I have always loved the mystique of the written word. My very earliest memories of books are now merely elusive images lost in the hazy mists of childhood. However, I can clearly mark that space in time when the world of literature opened up to me in a very real and concrete way. I was eight years old, third grade, when my teacher opened a book in class one day entitled THE GHOST OF BLACKWOOD HALL by Carolyn Keene. Yes, it was one of the Nancy Drew amateur sleuth series. As she read, I was suddenly whisked away into a land of adventure and intrigue–a magical, mystical journey into another place and time. That was my first love affair with the written word, and that love continues even now.For me, creating my own tapestries with words was a natural spin-off from reading the works of others. Writing became a means of expressing all of the thoughts and feelings and dreams and emotions that I harbored within myself–a place where all things were possible and my imagination could run free and wild. I wrote primarily for myself, a source of self-satisfaction, from journals to essays to short stories to finally my first novel, RAIN OF TERROR.
As RAIN OF TERROR, Book 1 in the Blacklick Valley Mystery Series, exemplifies, I have a proclivity toward the mystery genre. The twists and turns in plot, the questions, the clues, the suspense, the final revelations, the challenge of bringing it all together captivate even me because often I’m not certain where my characters will take me. The story is set in the mountains of western Pennsylvania where I was born and raised. I tried to stay true to the authenticity of the scenery, the climate, and the culture of the area–all deeply embedded in my memory and experience.
My new release, A REASON TO KILL, Book 2 in the series, is also available on Amazon in both paperback and eBook. Of course, the book is another mystery, a gripping tale of suspense and romance which addresses the important social issue of domestic violence and the victimization of women.
On a personal note, I graduated cum laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Education along with a concentration in the Social Sciences. Although I have taught at various educational levels, my most recent teaching assignment was at Webster College in Tampa, Florida, where I currently live. When I’m not writing or reading, my life revolves around my family, my little dog Toby, my numerous cats, cooking, and gardening–the quiet passions that seem to define me.

As a child I had stories going through my head. It took me a long time to realise I should write them down, therefore clearing my mind. Little did I know another one would pop up!
I wanted to be painter since I was a child. I was told, while being assessed at the end of my art foundation, I should go into drama or be a stand-up comedian. I’m short, so even if I did ‘stand up’ it’d be hard to see me and I realise that was their way of telling me I was rubbish at art.
I’ve worked in various jobs and I have been extremely lucky to do what I wanted to do… though I have a habit of changing my mind every so often.
If you want something, go for it. The only thing holding you back is you. You only have one life so don’t say ‘if only’ say ‘well at least I tried’.
Writing, like anything creative, is an exposure. Not everyone likes what you write, what you say or what you think… but some people do. That’s my focus. On the people who like what you write… what I write.

The Selmere Integration Prize was awarded her in 2014 for her engagement in helping African Women in the Diaspora cope with a variety of domestic and social problems. The Proposal, her short story, won the Cook Communications first prize in 2010, and is published in an American collections of anthology Africa 2012. In 2012 she won the Karl Ziegler Prize for her commitment to bring African culture to the Western society in various papers, theses and lectures. Again in 2012 her book was nominated for the 2012 Caine Prize by the Author-me Group, Sanford, and in 2013 she was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Writers Prize.She studied Economics, Literature and Journalism in London; Germanistics and German-specific Economics and Socio-Philosophy in Germany. Her most recent personal achievement is her Ph.D. in Sociology and Geo-Politics in Germany, making her total number of doctorates rise to five – she regards knowledge as a lifelong quest of learning something new.
Apart from her numerous and published articles, theses and papers, her first novel in German: Khiras Traum was published in 2004. Ahmad Ardalan was born in Baghdad in 1979. At the age of two, he moved with his parents to Vienna, Austria, where he spent most of his childhood and underwent his primary studies. The fact that he has highly specific amnesia about who he is, what he and the other fourteen were doing in the ship, why they were there, how the ship was constructed, well, that only hammers home the whole ‘everything is broken’ feeling. But Garth Nickels can sure as hell tell you anything you might ever want to know about the A-Team. Or Bugs Bunny. Or Rob Zombie. But nothing historically significant.
Well, Garth did his bid in Special Services and made quite a name for himself. Granted, it’s a name he’d prefer stay lost to the darkness across The Cordon where he did horrible, awful things in the Trinity AI’s name, but it’s a name nonetheless. During that time, the thirty-thousand year old Specter discovered that he not only has the same kind of powers and abilities as those who got killed during their escape, his seem to grow in direct correlation to the threat. He has become a man of strength and speed, of violence and mayhem, and he does not like it.
But he’s free now, from the haunting Specter he became, free to hunt for something that he suspects might only be a dream: somewhere out there, in the depths of Trinityspace, there is a ship the equal of the one he and his fourteen cryosleep buddies were discovered in. From that moment on, I was hooked on the wondrous worlds of science fiction and fantasy.I can’t remember when, exactly, that I started writing, but I usually stick with ‘5 years old’ because that sounds like a good time to start. I definitely remember writing all kinds of things when I was a young boy, but it wasn’t until I hit grade 8 that I really buckled down and started working on the Garth N’Chalez Universe.
When I’m not writing, which is never … okay, when I’m not physically sitting at my computer writing, I’m either wasting time devouring entire series’ of shows like Breaking Bad or, more recently, The Sopranos or goofing around with friends.
I’ve always had a story to tell, and this wonderful world of self-publication gives me the opportunity to bring those stories to you, the reader, without too much delay.
Anyways, as those of you who’ve read my stuff knows, I can go on and on and on an … yeah, you get the picture.
