A full-blooded Cajun boy from a small south Louisiana town known as Duplessis (25 miles from Baton Rouge,) Marvin LeBlanc graduated in 1986 from Louisiana State University where he earned varsity letters for four years on a full student-athlete scholarship, studied sports medicine, and served as an athletic trainer for LSU football. In 1987, Marvin became a “commission only insurance agent,” and has been “eating what he kills” for 23 years as a passionate, full-time, fully engaged, overly optimistic insurance agent. He, along with many others, experienced a life-defining, life-altering event on August 29, 2005 when Hurricane Katrina damaged all 27,000 homes in Louisiana’s St. Bernard Parish: “My office in St. Bernard received 12 feet of water. We would never return to do business or occupy that office again after August 29th. Though I did not have a permanent office until April 1st of 2006, I still needed to maintain my business. Yet, all but one of my employees were gone and hundreds of my customers were no longer in the state. I could not insure them, so all that income was lost.” Marvin LeBlanc is an eight-course Dale Carnegie graduate and certified instructor on the book Split Second Choice: The Power of Attitude, written by his mentor Jim Winner. Recognized as an “honored citizen” of St. Bernard parish and given the “keys to the city” for his community involvement in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Marvin was never one to be in politics or put election signs up, never one to even attend parish government council meetings. Poison was always coming up with new ideas for making new money. She attends a banquet and befriends a foreign film director in order to gain connections into the film entertainment industry. That is her gateway to serving the stars. Obtaining wealth was becoming easier with the connections Poison and her fiancé made.
Seeing a young girl on a street corner one night sparked an idea for a teen sex operation. The problem is Rena, her first recruit, didn’t follow Poison’s rules to the letter and she lost out. Rena was identified first by her cousin Richard. Poison finds out about it because Coal knows Rena’s cousin. Coal was shocked to learn of the surprise police questioning of his fiancé.
Damien ‘Coal Black’ Turner popped the big question to Poison after they bought their first baby a nightclub “The Clique Club”. After having some strange feelings physically and emotionally, Poison found out that she is expecting. Coal was excited Jaliea wasn’t.
Hollywood sees Poison’s shiny ring on her finger. Poison brags of her acceptance into matrimony with Coal. Hollywood wanted Poison for himself. He puts the idea in Poisons’ head that Coal is being unfaithful in an effort to cause problems in their relationship. Coal assures Poison he would never cheat but his suspicions about Hollywood being more than associates with his fiancé are in mind.
Hollywood is worried about his future with Jaliea and she is worried about the problems Hollywood may cause her marriage. Seducing Hollywood would clear the doubt in his head about their relationship. She and Hollywood and sometimes friends would go behind closed doors at the club and play rough. One of those nights was Poison’s bachelorette party.
While Poison was off getting married Hollywood was trying to find a way to deal with it. Sex and drug use increase and he found a woman. A night with Hollywood turns into a rape charge and taking the blame for Rena’s murder lands him in prison while Poison enjoys her honeymoon.
Meanwhile Poison and Coal start making life decisions together. Poison is feeling the stresses of having a newborn. She copes using drugs preferably ecstasy because of the sexual intensity of it. Her behavior is up and down and her x-rated persona needs Hollywood. She has to figure a way to get him out. Corruption in the justice system is her resolution. Lawyers and judges take her bribes. Hollywood is released on probation after only doing two years.
Poison’s plan to commit passion crimes against the weak in her community started with Zynae but when he met Temetria he hit the jackpot. Poison wants Temetria on video having sex for later use as extortion for money.
Poison loses Coal to another woman after CPS removes the child from their home. She uses Lailei to get revenge on Coal for breaking up their family. His first book, “DUTY,” was named the Best Short Story Anthology/Collection during the 2013 San Diego Book Awards (SDBA). “The Killing Depths” was also named a finalist for the SDBA Sisters In Crime Mystery Award.
A veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and Navy Reserves, and the California National Guard, Martin has also served on a sheriff’s wilderness search and rescue team, and on two disaster response teams. He lives in La Jolla, CA.

Sixteen years ago I embarked on a teaching Grand Tour throughout Asia. What a fascinating journey these years have been! After seeing much of Vietnam, Cambodia, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Thailand, in between stints of teaching and futures trading, I settled seven years ago here in beautiful Chiang Mai, northern Thailand.I’m an avid fan of SF, Horror, Fantasy, Historical fiction, DVD serials, and Asian transcendental writing. They also face the challenge of taking advantage, or not so, about the short, summer salmon runs— If they succeed then they can have resources to sustain their lives; if they don’t meet their goals the long winter months will be very lean. Vrinda originally grew up in Arizona, but moved to England in 1999, where she now lives with her husband and their very energetic son. She is the author of the YA fantasy series The Descendants. Book 1 Mythos is currently available on Kindle.Her first novel was The Ladder, a story about two friends learning to grow through their difficult childhoods and find the light that lies inside themselves.
Vrinda also runs a publishing house for writers with neurological conditions, called Conditional Publications. Their first book, Check Mates: A Collection of Fiction, Poetry and Artwork about Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, by People with OCD, was released in 2010 (Kindle and paperback), with future books in the pipeline.

Bestselling author Barbara Devlin was born a storyteller. A Texan, through and through, Barbara hasn’t been without a book in her possession since she was in kindergarten. She wrote her first short story, a really cheesy murder-mystery, in high school, but it was a Christmas gift, a lovely little diary with a bronze lock, given to her in the fifth grade that truly inspired her love for writing.After completing part of her undergraduate studies at the University of London, where she developed a love of all things British, Barbara returned home and began a career in banking. But the late 80s weren’t too promising for the financial industry, and every bank that hired Barbara soon folded.
