But this is today and today my name is Ilyana Oksana Malakhova. I was adopted from an orphanage in Ukraine when I was 3 years old. I have no memories of who I really am or who I even was at that time. But I have been told that I was left in the dumpster of a gas station as a newborn, found by the owner and turned over to a tiny orphanage with too many children and not enough food or clothes. I was almost adopted numerous times by my first Birthday, but every time someone came for me they backed out. On my third Birthday a stranger came into the orphanage and told the workers to find any way they can to kill me, they told the workers that I was a bad omen, a danger to the world. On one side these famous and well known Hollywood celebrities are living in the constant limelight struggling between reel and real life and on the other side these six best friends from the parallel world are living an extraordinary life, peacefully and happily away from this limelight.
But destiny has decided something else for them.
Story starts with a voice of a girl named “Meera” who is standing in a big and beautiful Valley… a Yosemite Valley. A place she loves to go to. It was month of fall, her favorite season.
That one fine day she finds one diary lying open on the grass. She goes close to that diary and gasp in astonishment after she reads what’s written on the page.
“Wishing for a Parallel World”, were the words written on that open page. She takes that diary in her hand and look for more information and she realize that the diary belonged to a guy because he mentioned something about his best friend’s bachelor party and he was the best man in his wedding. Also, his name’s initial was “A” as this letter was beautifully crafted on the first page of the diary.
The main reason of her astonishment was the words that mentioned “Parallel World” in it… Her world. Yes, she belonged to a Parallel World. Her curious nature gives her urge to find this person because she wanted to meet him and find out what he knows about her world and why he was wishing for it.
Parallel World: a world which is the exact copy of earth but has a different time period. It is a mixture of past and future of the earth. It is a lush green and beautiful world with advanced technologies. There is less population because people evolved just few hundred years ago. There are no countries, no separate regions, no separate rules. It is just one world which is ruled by 10 highest authorities who have responsibility to take care of their world as well as the earth because any change on earth will create ripple effect and will affect its parallel world. Meera, her brother Samuel and her friends are son and daughters of those authorities. People of this world are living immortal life which they get from a chemical called RTsol which is given to them by the concerned authority of RTsol only after they find out that the person is eligible for it. People are beautiful, attractive, nice, cooperative, living their life happily under good guidance and protection of the authorities who are handling different centres of Parallel world like Manufacturing centre, Learning centre, Innovation Centre, Emergency centre, Head zone etc. People of Parallel World have different-different powers like teleporting (that’s how they teleport to earth), telekinesis, Strong Intuitions, Vibe reading etc. Everyone has some common powers and some different unique powers, have positive vibes, ability to heal etc. They value friendship, love and all the relationships. It is like a perfect world that one can desire for.
Meera calls her friends on earth to help her find out the person who is the owner of that diary but her friends refuse to help her saying that they don’t associate themselves to people on earth. Her friends include, Czyro (a brother like friend and very protective of Meera), Aneya (Czyro’s girlfriend), Terry (Best and closest friend of Meera), Triston and Maavi (Twin brother and sister). She finds it weird because she knew many people from parallel world were living on the earth without any problem and above all her friends would always help her no matter what. But later she finds out that her friends refused to help her because Terry (who has power of intuitions) had gotten an intuition of Meera going away from them forever as if she would die. She takes that intuition very lightly and ignores it and after so many requests, fights, quarrel, Meera gives up hope of finding that person. Only reason she desperately wanted to find that person was because she could feel the vibes of helplessness coming from that diary.
They decide to take Meera back. But because they had teleported on earth that day, they could not go back to the parallel world the same day because it needs high amount of energy to teleport from one world to another, so they had to stay for a day or two to gain the energy back. So they plan to roam around Los Angeles, a city 4-5 hours away from Yosemite Valley but technically only few seconds away for them.
But little did they know that destiny was playing its own game. Meera and Czyro meet with a terrible accident and later they find out that the guys behind their accident were two famous Hollywood celebrities. Now the turn of events take place. First they find themselves all over the news and surrounded by media, second, though they recovered from their wounds quickly because of healing powers but they could not teleport because of weakness and less energy.
They could not go back to the world and just disappear from the eyes of everybody. They had to sort things out on the earth to avoid anger and disappointment of their parents (authorities). So they all plan to stay on the earth for a while and bring everything back to normal again. Later during their stay those Celebrities become their friends, and Meera and her friends find new friends on earth… Tedd, Adam, Mickey, Haley, Tanya and Austin who belonged to the world of Hollywood.
Then the journey of true relationships, true friendship and true love begins… While staying on earth Meera finds out that she was kept from many things from her friends and family. She was living in her own bubble and now that bubble had burst. She encounters many things, realities of earth, a world that she always thought of as her own good and perfect world, she also encounters realities of her own world, encounters past and many other secrets also get revealed to her.
What happens when these friends from parallel world find themselves in this rush of the earth?
What destiny has decided for them? Does it want Meera to find that person who belonged to that Diary?
Does she finds that person?
Will intuition of Terry come true?

I am a writer from England, currently living in Cambridge, working hard to finish my university degree in Spanish and Russian.My passion for writing stretches longer than my memory does. I vaguely recall sitting in my living room as a child of around four years old, writing a story about a petulant kid who would answer all of his parents’ demands with “if I have to.” It has yet to win the Pulitzer prize, but at least it amused my family.
As I grew older, my subject matter ranged from talking bears with a thirst for adventure to ghost stories, fueled by my childhood love of ‘Goosebumps’ books and my own overactive imagination. I have always been an avid reader, and my own stories have been inspired by everything from the classics to contemporary cult fiction.
In 2010 I was lucky enough to be granted a place to study at Cambridge University, a place steeped in history and expectation. It was after my second year here that I began work on my debut novel, Angel, loosely based on some of my own experiences in Cambridge along with my constant urge to wonder ‘what if…’ Angel was released in 2013 and is currently available in both eBook and paperback formats.
As I grow older and leave university, it is my hope that I will be lucky enough to continue writing, as there are so many more themes I want to explore. My stories are driven by real life problems, youth culture and sexuality.
I am a keen follower of pop culture and this also plays a big part in my writing. Ever since I was a teenager, I found pop music was able to express my own feelings in much more clarity than I could ever hope for. Music and literature are my two biggest passions, and I believe they are intrinsically linked. Aside from this, I am deeply passionate about worldwide LGBT rights and the protection of animals – both big and small.

And sure enough, as the deputies had expected, the paper carried a front-page headline declaring “Fritz Guilty of Rape,” referring to the candidate’s guilty plea to a charge of carnal knowledge of a 15-year-old more than 30 years earlier, along with a story about a complaint filed against Voorhaar over his handling of a sexual harassment claim.Rossignol filed a federal civil rights suit a year later, claiming that the officials had violated the First, Fourth and 14th Amendments, as well as state law. A federal district judge threw out the suit, finding that the deputies had not acted “under color of state law” when they bought the papers, but as private citizens. And because no “police action” occurred, Fritz and Voorhaar got off, too.
The 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals saw it differently. In a unanimous opinion by Chief Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson, a three-judge panel ruled in January that the deputies’ conduct amounted to a “systematic, carefully organized plan to suppress the distribution of St. Mary’s Today” because they disagreed with its viewpoint, and to “retaliate against those who questioned their fitness for public office.” That’s exactly the “kind of suppression of political criticism that the First Amendment was intended to prohibit,” Wilkinson observed.
Just because the deputies were acting outside their normal working hours didn’t mean they weren’t using the power of their office to carry out their plan, the court found. Like law enforcement officials who conspired with Ku Klux Klan members to intimidate former slaves, “the conduct here…cannot be absolved by the simple expedient of removing the badge,” Wilkinson wrote.
If the deputies disagree with what St. Mary’s Today had to say, they are free to denounce the paper, Wilkinson suggested. They can even sue for libel. But as he concluded, “to summon the organized force of the sheriff’s office to the cause of censorship” “belongs to a society much different and more oppressive than our own.” One where the government, not the citizen, decides what is the truth and what are “outright lies.”

My name is Vi Zetterwall. I live in Seattle, Washington and have a day job and a private life but for years I have whiled away spare time dreaming up plots and imagining stories about men and women and their unique romantic interactions. I am currently working on finishing the twelve books in my Single Heart Series and I am almost done.Making up stories has always seemed very easy for me. It was having the discipline to write them down that was tough. I wrote one novel and it took three years and, honestly, it wasn’t very good. Then I started in on my favorite storyline and wrote and wrote. I got up to 200 pages in Word and realized I wasn’t even one fourth of the way through. In between working and taking care of family, it had taken me seven years. That one is still collecting dust.
Then I started watching what Amazon was doing and I saw all the ebooks that were being published as short stories. I thought “Hey, I could do that!” So now I aim to write novellas (20,000 to 50,000 words) and I find the words just fly off my fingertips. Good plots but short. Turns out to be much easier.
People ask me how I am able to write so quickly and I tell them the truth. When I was young, my older sister and I slept in the same bed. What I didn’t know is that as soon as I fell asleep, she would get back up and watch TV. So she wanted me to fall asleep fast! I usually fell asleep pretty quickly but one time, when I was about six, I couldn’t sleep and so my sister told me to ‘tell myself a story’. Well, she was my big sister! I lived off of every word that flowed from her mouth. I believed everything she said. So, I told myself a story and got to sleep. I did it the next night too. And now, 26 years later, I am still telling myself stories. Every night. Granted, at first they were pretty juvenile but as I got older I started creating more elaborate stories, writing them out word for word in my head. Now, I have dozens and dozens of them waiting impatiently to get out of my head and onto paper … or in this case, Kindles.
I am busy writing my next book now, which, predictably enough, is called “October and the Single Heart”. I hope you’ve had a chance to read one or more of my stories. It really means a lot to me. If you would be so kind as to drop me an email and tell me what you liked (or hated) about the book, I will use all your feedback to improve and make the next one better. “Lulu took four hours to fix her stew; she would first take a pound of smoked bacon and cook it up until it was brittle. To the bacon, after pouring off excess drippings, she would add a full stalk of chopped celery, two whole chopped Vidalia onions and two tablespoons of chopped garlic.
With two tablespoons of black pepper, a bunch of fresh rosemary and a big dash of thyme, Lulu’s oyster stew was beginning to take shape.
After this mixture slowly cooked in a large iron skillet Lulu had brought from home, she poured it all into a large pot and then poured in a gallon of shucked oysters into the iron skillet, still having the bacon grease, along with a good amount of oyster ‘liquor’, the oyster fluid in the gallon, and let it thoroughly cook up until the oysters were all much smaller and constricted.”
