While deployed to Iraq in 2007 he spent missions in a turret as gunner. In his free time he began writing a story having nothing to do with monkeys. Storytelling has become a passion of his, with a strong interest in horror and science fiction.

I grew up in Barbados and at the age of 20, left the island for New York City. I later joined the United States Navy because I wanted to make a difference in the world; and became a mother in 2010 to my wonderful son.

Since childhood I’ve been an artist and worked as a graphic designer in the corporate world and for newspapers for twenty-three years before I quit to write full time.
