ou know when you are reading a book and you can’t put it down? When you are dying to read the next chapter? This is how I felt as I wrote this story. I wasn’t able to stop it and did nothing else with my free time until it was all on paper. What started as a question of wondering if I could write a book, became a requirement to do so. As I tried to go to sleep at night I was rewriting chapters and found myself getting up to write just one more. I don’t know if I am an author, only time will tell, but I certainly have enjoyed the process.For those of you interested, here is a little about me. I was born in Falls Church, Virginia in 1969. We moved around a lot, but we finally settled in Houston when I was 12. I went away to the Air Force when I was 19 and married the most amazing woman ever created. I don’t know why she said yes but I am so glad she did. We lived in Germany and Turkey for almost 5 years while I was in. I ran a mainframe and eventually started in the client server side managing a Novell network at Offutt Airforce base. I got out in 1995, moved back to Texas and went to work for a startup software company.
We had our first of three daughters. It is pretty amazing that we had more than one because our first daughter had colic and cried for three months straight. She almost convinced us to never do that again. Luckily, the next two didn’t have it and we were blessed with a total of three amazing girls that we couldn’t be prouder of.
Today I am in Software sales, I use my IT background to try and help companies solve their challenges. The Druid Legacy is my first book in the trilogy and I am actively writing book 4 now!

I studied astrophysics at Newcastle University, where I started the student science fiction society. Writing novels has always played a part in my life, and I’ve tried to see the world enough to be able to write fiction with the help of personal experience.After university, the US oil industry was booming so I went to Dallas, Texas, later on I worked on rigs in various parts of the Middle East and the war-torn heart of Africa. I was aboard the Ron Tappmeyer, a rig that blew out in the Persian Gulf, killing 19 men. It was dangerous work, but well-paid, and it took me to places that outsiders rarely see, like the Rub-al-Khali of Arabia and hard-to-reach parts of equatorial Africa.
When I left the oilfields, I spent time on travel, first to East Berlin and Warsaw, then to Moscow and Leningrad. From there I took the Trans-Siberian railway to Japan. In Hong Kong, I worked on a road survey, took tea with the heir of the last king of Upper Burma near Mandalay, and on the path to Everest base camp just happened to run into Sir Edmund Hillary. After traveling around most of India, Sri Lanka and Indonesia, I returned home and took up a job with the BBC. Four years later, I left BBC TV to write. I finally settled in London, but I still like to head off to interesting parts when time allows.

My name is Aaron C. Padgett Jr. You are about to read a collection of children’s poems that I have written over the years. I started off writing small sentences about how I was feeling at the time. As the years moved along, my writing improved. My father submitted some of my poems to children’s organization and a few of them have been published. My pop told me I should continue to write for children like me. There are adults who write children’s poems but none of them can speak from a child’s point of view. “The World As I See It” is children’s poetry, written by a child poet. I write about struggles in school, problems at home, and the journey to become better at whatever sport I am playing. I am the brains and my father is the muscle. I write my poems and he works to get other people to see them. He says it is something we can do together while I am young and still want to spend time with him.
The ideal reader for this book is someone nine years old and up. I write about things that are currently happening in my life. If your child thinks they are the only one that has drama in their life, a kid will like this. If you have a crush on a girl and do not know how to express it, this is for you. If you have problems in your family, it is for you. If you want to tell someone how much they have hurt you, this book is for you. If you are an athlete and have that burning desire to win, it is definitely for you. If you see funny things happening around you all the time, you will enjoy this collection of poems.
If there is one thing I would change about my collection of children’s poems, I would have included more. Besides writing poems, I had to complete hours of homework, study for state exams, train for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitions, participate in weekend basketball programs, try to learn some Española, and spend time with my family. I will include the new poems I complete to this collection. Most of the poems are short and under twenty lines. This means it will be extremely easy to read on your computer, tablet, and smart-phone.

Hi There! My name is Kara Aimer (sounds like ‘eye-mur’), and I mainly write How-To books in the realm of Family Relationships, and more specifically – in regards to babies, infants and toddlers.Going through the rewards and challenges of these adventures in mommy-hood has given me a first-hand perspective to these circumstances. Going through the steps in becoming a new parent is difficult; some things come instinctively, but some do not. That’s why I write on this subject – to try and help as many new parents as possible with the parts that don’t come so naturally.
