The canonization of Pope John XXIII was announced by Pope Francis shortly after the fiftieth anniversary of John’s death. The date for canonization has been set for April 27, 2014, Divine Mercy Sunday, the first Sunday after Easter.

About A New Way of Loving:The book begins with two lovers in ancient China who discover the foundational phenomenon underlying all life in the forest where they live. The women in the village are especially interested in learning more about this but many men are curious too. There ensues a weekly gathering where Frank and Lucy begin to teach their friends this practice. The transformational impact this teaching has on many of the couples and the community as a whole, is breath-taking and inspiring. Many men and women rediscover a harmony with each other which had been lost and forgotten so many millennia ago. For them, it’s a journey back to a place of profound peace and a sense of belonging, without having to leave the creature comforts of modern times.
