Graham knew that he had done wrong, almost before it had happened. What he didn’t really know was just how much damaged he had done. Were others not in some way, partly responsible? The judge didn’t think so and the sexual offender treatment courses certainly didn’t allow this type of consideration. What was he supposed to do? Wait until he died for some ultimate judgement?

Solomon’s book about the African dolls had offered the opportunity to find out and making them had at least created a different challenge to his standard match models. However, even now as he lay breathless in his smoke filled cell, tangled in the torn up green bed sheets; that moments before he had thought were pond weed, he didn’t know what this knowledge had actually achieved. Had his dolls really influenced the lives of the Marchant family, in their pretty Gloucestershire Farmhouse, maybe now he would never know.

One early reviewer of the novel summed up much of what I was trying to achieve.

Lance Pototschnik grew up in rural Frederick county, Maryland, in a small house surrounded by farms. The last of his parents’ eight children, he spent the healthiest times of his childhood following his brothers up creeks and through woods, scrounging for turtles, toads and snakes. However, born with severe allergies and a chronic autoimmune disorder, Pototschnik was often confined to the house, where he sat alongside his mother and learned to draw and paint. As a sick child born at the back of a large family, life positioned Pototschnik as an observer, and he capitalized on that station through writing.

He went on to study English at McDaniel College. In his early twenties, he competed as an amateur powerlifter, and once held two world records. He is an ardent, impetuous traveler. My name is Daniel and I’m 33 years old. I’ve always considered myself a moral person and I lived for many years with an internal dissonance – The desire for animal products, collided with the heavy ethical baggage eating them brought.

But at the age of 28 I decided to change. It was after I spent 6 days in a meditation course (Vipassana) which is held in complete silence that I declared: – “That’s it, I’m a vegan!”

When I came back from Vipassana I was troubled. I had no idea what to eat Because my knowledge about vegan cooking was very poor. So I decided to contact members of our worldwide community through forums. I asked for recipes and tips and the response was amazing! I decided to leverage my passion for food and find the ultimate solutions to our community by writing a vegan cookbook.

My vision was to write a series of cookbooks which contain vegan recipes and distribute them to as many people as possible. Each book focuses on one type of food and shows that there are dozens of ways to prepare food that contain only natural products. These books incorporate original recipes and are especially devoted to our wonderful community to enjoy and distribute them.
