My older son is fantastic, awesome and unbelievably understanding with kindness that is in his soul. I’m proud to call him my son. My second son who is Autistic, but bright, affectionate and gentle sees things I never even gave a second guess too. He inspires me to stop, look and listen. God blessed me with him to stop and smell the roses which have given me another proud moment in life! They both have so many qualities that have inspired me to do what I love to do…write! They are growing up now and becoming more independent that was why I decided I finally have time to do what I love to do. They are both encouraging in so many different ways I couldn’t even begin to explain.
My Hubby is a sweetie in his own way, taking care of the boys when I started to write and tells everyone he knows that his wife wrote a book. That is his silent approval on what I do since he always complements me to others. I love him and my boys for their encouragement to be adventurous in my working mother life. So yes I still work a 9-5 job being an executive assistant to a company who depends on my full attention.
We enjoy as a family our seasonal camping with friends. So many campfires were we laugh and listen leaving our jobs behind to enjoy each other! We get out on our small boat looking for new adventures since boating is new to me but so inspirational I had to include it in my writing! I have found so many joys in life that I don’t always know where to begin! Needless to say they are never ending, just opening my eyes to what can be possible to anyone who wants to do and see more.
When it comes to writing I have always loved to read various books. My favorites started out being Fantasy Fiction, then Murder Mystery for awhile. Once I started reading Romance I knew this was what I have been looking for all my life. I have always wanted to write a novel but I wasn’t inspired until reading Romance Novels. The story of Nathan and Brandy in “MysteryMan” came to me so quickly in my head I couldn’t type it fast enough.
After finishing the first book I already knew what will follow in the in the second and third book of the series. It made me feel alive in writing other than a 9-5 job. Once started I couldn’t stop and you will find out more what is in store for you as a romance reader as the books are published.

The subject of coping with the loss of a loved one mostly deals with the perspective of the “One” who is left behind, poignantly reminiscing about things done or not done, love shared or not shared and most importantly- WORDS said or Not Said , when there was a still a chance to say them- when it could have made all the difference.

As Words, whether spoken mellifluously or conveyed silently, shape the world we live in. Giving us the power to celebrate or cope, express or suppress- whatever we choose to do with them.

But what about the choices of the “One” whose loss the one who is left behind wants to cope up with, because the One who departs is the One whose innings comes to an end, snatching away his or her chance to Live, Do, Experience Affect, Express and most importantly SAY what remains unfulfilled or unexpressed at the time of the ultimate journey.

And considering Life & Death to be two Absolute, Undisputed and Certain points in a man’s journey, shouldn’t the paradigm of coping and expressing be as much for the one who departs as it is for the one who remains behind in this world.

Is there a way for the departing soul to take a leap of faith and use the power of Words one last time to bridge those gaps which sometimes gnaw at his or her soul in those final moments. Can (s)he take recourse to the power of Words to revel one last time in profundity of love and happiness in the last phase of life and leave behind this revelry as a legacy for the loved ones.

Something which obviates the need of coping to some extent notwithstanding the catharsis of grieving! Seeding Hope and Love in the life of the one who is left behind.

Can Words play a role here!

FOUR LETTERS OF LOVE is one such story which delves into this magical world of Words! It tries to explore certain questions. Such as:

What happens when a man’s innocuous longing to live happily with his family is out-dared by a dark premonition, making him believe his ultimate journey is looming ahead. Is there anything he can do in those moments to let his two month old child know, how much his father loved him? Something which could actually make the child see the world of his or her father ?

What happens when a daughter having an extremely difficult relationship with her mother, because of scars from her childhood, finds herself standing on the doors of motherhood and is swept in a vortex of emotions, all of which cajole her to reach out to her mom. Something which she hasn’t done since ages. Is there a way for her to cross those burnt bridges? And is it really that simple, or that easy, in the life we live, to reach out?

Can there be a friendship through which providence can manifest itself in the darkest hours?

And can love be the source of courage for a family making it fathom the deepest and darkest abyss life can comes across? Is there a way to triumph over the forces which seek out to destroy the fabric of hope? Is there a way to gift our life legacy to the ones we love the most, despite the odds?

Men flooded the Old West after the Civil War. Some came looking to start a new life, leaving homes that had been destroyed in the war. In the mountains, men settled themselves onto land that was empty, filed claims, built homes and began raising familes. They were pioneers. Few of them left their guns behind. Many of them carried their violent ways with them. Those men were used to killing. They’d grown accustomed to taking what they wanted with a gun.

It remained for tough, battle-hardened men who were principled to stand against the lawlessness that threatened to overcome the good men and women who settled in the West. These men refused to surrender, refused to be intimidated, and refused to back down. And some of them, like Ben Hayes, dealt with these violent men as he had when he was in the war: with a gun. His view of how to deal with the violent outlaws was summed up in a remark he made to a friend. “The easiest way to end a war is if the other side surrenders. And if they don’t, then you just kill them until there’s no one left to fight.”

Ben Hayes and Artie Longer lived in the West for several years after the Civil War. Hayes spent time riding for the Texas Rangers, then as a cowboy and a hunter for ranches down near the Brazos where he often was hired to chase rustlers across the border. Artie spent his years as a cowboy, once making a cattle drive across Texas and into Kansas. They met up in Texas and became friends.

Hayes had an interest in seeing California and Longer, who had little else to do, agreed that California would be a place he’d like to see. Hayes had been through Arizona, all the way to Tuscon and Phoenix a few years earlier, and he’d heard that going to California through the south was the best way to go, though it was a pretty dry ride.

As they are riding south through the northern end of Arizona Territory, they stop at the Red Mountain Ranch. It’s a small ranch nestled in amongst the many pine trees there, with a sprinkling of open pastures with lush grass. The ranch is owned by Colonel William J. Harken and his daughter, Mary, who’d recently lost her husband. She has a small boy, Billy.

They learn that a local rancher, Jacob Jarvis, has hired gunmen and has managed to intimidate several of the small ranchers into selling. He’s threatened Harken and made it clear to several in the community that he wants Mary as well as the ranch.

Ben Hayes is one of those principled men, not a man to walk away from someone needing help. His friend, Artie Longer says of him, “One minute, you’re looking at a man who looks to be a gentle, mild-mannered dude, except for the black, holstered Colt at his side, then quicker than a big cat jumping on a calf, you’re seeing a man whose eyes have turned as cold and frosty as a Montana January morning, and whose face has lost every sign of gentle. Everything about the man changes. I’ve seen some full-growed, battle-tough men back away from him, startled, and suddenly afraid at what they were looking at. It was as though they’d come suddenly on a hungry wolf who was looking at them as its next meal.”

Hayes and Longer recruit two other men to help at the ranch . The battles that follow become deadly lessons for Jarvis. Ben Hayes is a tactician, a warrior whose mettle has been tested in battle. Jarvis will come to wish he’d never heard of the Red Mountain Ranch.

And, he’ll come to regret ever coming face to face with Ben Hayes.

This is a western story that even the Dean of Western Fiction, Louis L’Amour would have enjoyed.

Thank the lord that the fascinating narcissist ‘Walt” at least had the decency to free him. ‘Game of Thrones’ is the current obsession with maybe ‘The Walking Dead’ a close second cos that guy Rob, is very pleasing to the eye, and a very good actor too, which is, of course, what I meant with the first part of that sentence.

Anyway, that’s me; utterly boring but constantly exited about being part of the reading and writing community. Long may it last!

Born and raised in the coastal English town Lowestoft, it should come as no surprise (to those that have the misfortune of knowing this place) that I became a horror writer.

Deep spiritual pursuits became his cup of tea in his youthful days. He happened to get chosen by his mentor, who was a multi-facet personality of substance. The joyful journeying along with mentor was blissful and pleasurable for both. Imprints left behind on his being a deep and substantial.

Now that his mentor has chosen an abode in heaven, the Author hangs-out with friends, less than half his age. A unique peculiar life-style indeed. May be, he is living a life, which he missed out in his youth.

I was born on Sept 3, 1971 in Germany. Being a child of a military father, I have lived in many places, including Fairbanks, Alaska and Cairo, Egypt. I spent the majority of my teen life in San Antonio, Texas and graduated at James Madison High School in 1989.

After my dad retired, my family finally settled in their home state of Alabama and I currently resides in Decatur, AL. I served in the US Army Reserves from 1989 to 1997.

I have loved writing since high school where I won a district award for a short story assignment. I also have completed the Long Ridge Writers School of short story and article writing in 2012. My other interests include martial arts and all things related.
