Killing Chase by Ben Muse
About Killing Chase by Ben Muse
Second chances can kill you.
From the moment he woke that early March morning, Chase Hampton knew, once he was released from prison later that day, he was never going back. No matter what.
Born into a wealthy but flawed North Carolina shipbuilding family, Chase was somehow immune to the dysfunction. The sky was the limit for the 18-year old football prodigy, until one terrible event changed the course of his life and prison became his new home. Through the highs and lows of his incarceration, there was one person he couldn’t forget, no matter how hard he’d tried: childhood best friend Bailey Masters. For reasons unknown to him, she’d shunned him ever since her mysterious return to Foggy Harbor at the beginning of their sophomore year.
Now, seven years into a twelve-year manslaughter sentence, Chase is given an unusual second chance, one that comes with its own set of rules. Suddenly, he’s thrust into a position he’s not ready for: the tip of the spear in a quiet war against an American enemy. A war that could cost him his family . . . and his life.

Gabriel Farago is the international, bestselling and multi-award-winning Australian author of the Jack Rogan mysteries and thrillers series for the thinking reader.
As a lawyer with a passion for history and archaeology, Gabriel had to wait for many years before being able to pursue another passion–writing–in earnest. However, his love of books and storytelling started long before that.
Born in Budapest, Gabriel grew up in post-War Europe, and after fleeing Hungary with his parents during the Revolution in 56, he went to school in Austria before arriving in Australia as a teenager. This allowed him to become multi-lingual and feel ‘at home’ in different countries and diverse cultures. Shaped by a long legal career and experiences spanning several decades and continents, his is a mature voice that speaks in many tongues.
Gabriel holds degrees in literature and law, speaks several languages and takes research and authenticity very seriously. Inquisitive by nature, he studied Egyptology and learned to read the hieroglyphs. He travels extensively and visits all of the locations mentioned in his books.
‘I try to weave fact and fiction into a seamless storyline,’ he explains. ‘By blurring the boundaries between the two, the reader is never quite sure where one ends, and the other begins. This is of course quite deliberate as it creates the illusion of authenticity and reality in a work that is pure fiction. A successful work of fiction is a balancing act: reality must rub shoulders with imagination in a way that is both entertaining and plausible.’
Gabriel lives in the Blue Mountains in Australia just outside Sydney, surrounded by a World Heritage National Park.
‘The beauty and solitude of this unique environment,’ he points out, ‘gives me inspiration and the energy to weave my thoughts and ideas into stories which, I sincerely hope, will in turn entertain and inspire my readers.’
If you like historical thrillers, excitement, mystery and suspense, if you enjoy exotic settings, colourful characters and fast-paced action, if you like to learn about interesting, well-researched subjects that tease your intellect and imagination, then once your step inside, Gabriel will show you his world; the world of the storyteller.
Shaped by a long legal career and experiences spanning several decades and continents, his is a mature voice that speaks in many tongues.

A Journey to Woodstock & Beyond by Frankie Carr
About A Journey to Woodstock & Beyond by Frankie Carr
The year is August 1983. Three college girls, Kate Barrett, Jill Le Gallienne, and Brenda Nast, find themselves propelled back, in time, to Woodstock 1969. Acting on a promise they made to themselves, one of them sets out to save Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix from their future, their untimely deaths. Prior to this, Kate’s best friend plots against her, jealous of her friend’s pampered lifestyle.
Long version:
During breakfast, Kate Barret, receives a phone call from herself to herself and from all places—the Woodstock festival—thirteen years in the past. This speaking to her duplicate self so blindsides her rose-tinted world, that she leads her friends to perform an off-the-cuff innocent ceremony. Kate feels that this act of magic must transpire before the stroke of midnight, the anniversary of Woodstock. Their goal is to travel back in time to warn Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix, hopefully, to save them from their untimely deaths. Kate and friends are not prepared for the wild journeys they will take. Meanwhile, Jill Le Gallienne, Kate’s best friend, jealous of her friend’s pampered lifestyle, plots against her, to ruin her reputation. This act of treachery has far-reaching consequences neither of them could have imagined. Jill finds herself on a thrill ride as she sets out to do the same to others—she and an acquaintance (posing as a Hollywood talent agent)—finagle into unsavory situations.
A unique situation confronts Kate’s brother James. The night before Kate’s strange phone call, he’s visited in a dream (or what he believes is a dream) by none other than three beautiful young women, a long-dead Broadway legend, a provocative silent movie star, and an Elizabethan speaking nattily dressed-as-a-man literary figure. What transpires, in that event, portends the perilous journey he must take to save a Russian princess from an untimely death, by murder?

The idea of “A Journey to Woodstock” came from a love of Rock ‘n Roll music, especially from the ’60s & ’70s and my enthrallment of the greatest rock concerts of all times—Woodstock 1969! To recreate that event I, of course, watched the Oscar-winning 1970 documentary, read blogs of those who were there, and websites detailing the timelines of performances, this and more to get the feel of what it was like to be there: in short, to recreate for the reader of what it was like (as a time traveler) to be there. There is much, much more to the story, some wild journeys for sure.
A novel’s journey from conception to completion has been, as most authors will attest, an arduous, but grand experience.—If I can live through one more edit and not take a long walk off a short pier, I may, just may, finish this in my lifetime.
I’ve been writing for years. One source of invaluable information has been “Writer’s Digest,” a magnificent compendium of knowledge. I’ve one other completed novel that I’m currently editing, another novel online, as well as a novelette, and two novellas, the latter of which I’ve yet to upload. The three novels began roughly about the same time, in 2007.
What do I do in my spare time? Besides my day job as a driver, I love swing dancing, bicycling, hiking, & jogging. Add to that my need to get back to practicing my violin and ukulele. Last summer, however, I produced and wrote a time-travel film short (33 minutes in duration), one I’m currently submitting to film festivals; it and my other novel have been submitted to Taleflick, (https://taleflick.com/) a site where major film producers can peruse for possible movie ideas. I’ve my fingers crossed. Meanwhile, I sincerely hope you enjoy the journey, “A Journey to Woodstock & Beyond.” Peace & Love! lindyhop1927@gmail.com

Yves Corbiere only became captivated by superheroes as an adult. As a child she preferred horses. “Mimi and Ky: The Beginning” was her debut novel. She now has a second novel out in the series, “Mimi and Ky: Escape the Past”.
Yves suffers from chronic Lyme disease which she was diagnosed with 8 years ago when she woke up screaming because she couldn’t feel or move her right leg. She has now mostly recovered her health due to the hard work and dedication of many healthcare practitioners in a variety of disciplines including acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage, yoga, and allopathic medicine (an amazing MD).
Yves grew up in Guilford, Connecticut, a coastal New England town with a passion for soccer, sailing and high school orchestral music. She went to Davidson College.
For all you francophiles and French speakers who are wondering, Yves got the spelling of her name from Jacques Cousteau. She was an “Eve” until at age 4 she saw a documentary featuring Jacques “Yves” Cousteau and insisted on changing the spelling. She doesn’t remember the incident.

My formative life experiences impacted me in that I did not like who I was. This had come about due to the environment I grew up in, what was accepted and not accepted and how I learnt to behave and react. However, I knew there was more to me, something that was precious inside me that I could not connect to-so how could anyone else? So, I spent most of my life studying myself and discovering the answers, tools, and processes within myself, so I could find and become me, the true me. I grew my ability to be self-reliant in making an internal difference to me.
I spent years immersed in my own self-development and in developing my own way of self-facilitating and facilitating others to find our jewels within. I designed the I Make a Difference (IMAD) Personal Development Programme in 2000 with the I Make a Difference Onion Model lying at the foundation of the programme and of this book.
For over fifteen years I have facilitated and walked beside thousands of individuals-people in the business community, people in the Department of Corrections, disengaged youth, individuals with disabilities and workplace injuries, migrants and refugees, traditional owners-the Aboriginal people of Australia, long-term unemployed people, and members of the general public who, as a result of the IMAD experience-have made a difference to themselves, their families, their workplaces, their communities, and their lives.

The Year of the Fox
I started My New Life with a wild leap of faith and a screw driver in my back pocket. Turns out I needed a power tool arsenal…
Nancy Myers is having a hard time. She’s broken-hearted, homeless and unemployed. And she’s just turned forty. But Nancy has a secret weapon. Desperation.
Relying solely on her finely-honed ability to make stuff up as she goes along and the battery life of her cordless drill, she’s determined to make a fresh start (one that on no account features men of the falling-in-love-with variety).
After purchasing a rural property on a whim at the foot of the Southern Alps in New Zealand, Nancy attempts to settle into country life. She finds the vista of the mountains healing. She also finds a tall, dark and gumbooted stranger (who proves to be therapeutic in other ways).
But when she discovers her precious view is about to be taken away, Nancy faces a hard choice. Should she play saboteur to protect her own happiness, even if it means losing the man who just might possibly be the key to it?
Maybe her fresh start is actually a false start. Or maybe she’s learning a thing or two about how to be a kick-arse, self-reliant woman.

In fourth grade, Andy Giesler fell in love with writing. His debut novel, Attack of the Dinosaurs, was seventeen pages long: the heart-pounding tale of Alaskan scientists using nuclear bombs to prospect for gasoline and—as happens all too often—inadvertently waking frozen dinosaurs. He promised himself that, one day, he’d write an even longer book.
Many years later while reading bedtime stories to his kids, he fell in love with writing all over again. He decided it was time.
Andy has been a library page, dairy science programmer, teacher, technical writer, and healthcare software developer. He’s a husband, father, and nonprofit web consultant living in Madison, Wisconsin.

Falling in love with the enemy wasn’t my goal.
Life has been nothing shy of entertaining since I was a boy.
Adopted by the wealthiest family in Qatar.
I’m a businessman with no desire for the crown my father wore.
But I wasn’t asked my opinion on the matter. My brother’s too young to rule the country.
With tons of concerns, I concede and take the throne, only to have the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen show up.
Her timing is almost too perfect.
It’s her persistence or fierceness that holds me completely captivated.
Either way, I want every part of her for my own.
Too bad she’s come to Qatar for one reason.
To destroy me.

ML Katz started reading Dick and Jane on a train and never looked back. She is a lover of good examples of almost all genres of fiction, but is particularly attached to speculative works. She believes that an emotional connection with readers transcends genre. That may be why Ms. Katz’s own favorites range from Pride & Prejudice to Lord of The Rings to Lonesome Dove to Scarpetta novels. This may also be one reason why her books are hard to classify, but seem to be enjoyed by readers of many different types of books.

RAMAYAN – An Ancient Galactic saga
About RAMAYAN – An Ancient Galactic saga
Believed to have been written during the dawn of civilisations on planet Earth, the real origin of Rāmāyan is still shrouded in mystery. An epitome of literary achievement from bygone epoch, the timeless story has been retold many times in the past.
Those who’ve never read the great epics of Asia may find this a good introduction to our ancient scriptures. On the other hand, readers who’re familiar with Rāmāyan may approach the interpretations of this book with an open mind. It may also strike a chord among those who’ve grown up enjoying the drama of STAR WARS – long ago in a galaxy far, far away. Yet, unlike the Hollywood inspired fantasy, Rāmāyan is based on what many believe to have really happened during mankind’s distant past.
Did the galactic adventures of Rāma actually occur aeons before the catastrophic global floods or Pralay destroyed most human settlements (triggered by meteor strikes and corresponding geological upheavals around 12000 BCE)? Did the Pralay compel mankind on Earth to restart their history from primitive levels? Was Rāmāyan reconstructed by Valmiki many millennia later, based on fragmented remains of its original content? Was the translated version coloured by the retrograde socio-tech situation prevalent during his times, thereby limiting its scope to the terrestrial ambiance alone?
While the theme of this book is based on what we’ve learnt through astrophysics over the past century as well as cosmology mentioned in ancient scriptures, the author has attempted to project both science and spirituality as inseparable sides of the same coin. The reader may at times need to refer the glossary to understand the full meaning of a few Sanskrit words.

Encounters with the Celestials, The Living Part of a Timeless Legend: From the Himalayan Journals of M.G. Hawking
About Encounters with the Celestials, The Living Part of a Timeless Legend: From the Himalayan Journals of M.G. Hawking
Free on Amazon 7/12 – 7/14/19. Explore the Secret Realities of a Compelling Ancient Legend. Transcribed directly from the archived field notes and journals of explorer M.G. Hawking’s sixty-two months in remote regions of Nepal and Tibet, this book contains detailed accounts of three remarkable encounters he and his companions experienced with what they believe were the fabled “celestials” of Himalayan legend.
Beginning with the 4000 year-old Zhang Zhung culture on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, throughout Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan and the Himalayan regions of India, there has endured an extraordinary legend of the Ri-iha-mo, the “celestials” who, having arrived from “another world” in antediluvian times, still dwell in a concealed inner region of the immense frozen fortress of the Great Himalayan Range.
The narratives in this book, insofar as extensive research indicates, have no counterpart in available world literature. The underlying concepts are present in certain rare works, but no description of an actual encounter or conversation with the Himalayan Ri-iha-mo, the celestials, or mountain goddesses, as the Tibetan term translates. Such records may exist, but have apparently remained sealed.
During Hawking’s three encounters with the celestials, they revealed profound revelations about our Universe, our planet, and our true nature and abilities, revelations that can greatly assist in understanding our world, its history, and our power to create precisely the life we desire. An unprecedented account that is thought provoking and richly enlightening, this book will remain in your heart and mind long after the last words have been read.
A Kindle Unlimited Book. 2019 Edition, chapters include ‘Evolving an Understanding of the Living Cosmos,’ and ‘Moving Toward a New World View.’ Kindle page count 348 (estimated, varies with the reading device used). Includes a Reference Material Section. For more information, please see the ‘Look Inside’ feature on the book’s Amazon page. Thank you.

Like most natural health experts, T.C. Hale (aka Tony Hale) began his career in stand-up comedy. Touring professionally as a comic for nearly a decade, he never envisioned that he would one day teach the world how to sleep, poop, and even lose weight. On Valentine’s Day, 2004, Tony lost his voice and it never came back. After twenty-three doctors couldn’t figure out the problem, Tony decided it was time to dig for his own answers. Eight years later, not only did Tony figure out his own issues, he also happened upon hidden information about how to improve countless other health problems. Though Tony likes to boast about the fact that he holds no legitimate credentials (nor does he believe that we need any more “experts” from the same pool of knowledge already failing so many with health issues), he is greatly respected by his peers in the natural health industry. The biggest manufacturers in the health, fitness and organic products industries send Tony their products every year in hopes of winning one of his GearAwards. Beyond working with many celebrity clients, Tony is on the executive board of The Coalition For Health Education, a nonprofit association that helps professionals and their clients learn about health through nutrition. Additionally, Tony teaches monthly webinars about nutrition to doctors, nutritionists and other health care professionals from more than thirty-five countries. You can also find Tony producing documentaries like, WHY AM I SO FAT? A film that teaches the truth about weight loss while showcasing Tony’s client, Gabe Evans, who lost 200 pounds in 9 ½ months by treating Tony’s word as gospel.
