The author was educated by Irish Catholic brothers of La Salle College during his formative years. He once aspired to join the clergy. After graduating with an engineering degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, he inadvertently became the pioneer of Chinese language television in Canada. He later lived in China for two decades working in the broadcast and telecommunications technologies industry. During that period, he witnessed and experienced the country’s meteoric rise. The first review i received, although several months after the release of June edition, was so overwhelming that i did spill a tear.
