Michal Hartstein was born in 1974 in Israel into a religious family, studied economics and accounting at the University of Tel Aviv and started a career in finance.
In 2006, after becoming a mother, she decided to change direction and began to write. For several years she has written a popular personal blog, and in 2011 published her first book, Confession of an Abandoned Wife. After two years she published her second book, Hill of Secrets. In 2014 she participated in the Israeli Nanowrimo contest and wrote Déjà vu. The book was one of the winners and was published in Israel in 2015.

Mae Schick is a former English language teacher and language school owner who has written extensively her entire life. She was raised in Montana, and although the Homestead Acts came to a halt before she was born, she grew up among “ancients” who had a part in the fascinating era of the settling of the West.
Her first book was 53 Bears, a series of vignettes from her early childhood to her college years, two of which have been published in Montana anthologies. Her novel Lila, and her short stories about women homesteaders were inspired by the relatively unheralded experiences of strong women finding ways to become self-reliant in the American West. Many of her characters are drawn from the written histories of these women, and conversations she has had growing up in a community of mostly elderly people, some whom were raised on homesteads, including her parents.
Her characters start off in difficulty, dissatisfaction, or in feeling unfulfilled. Circumstances compel them to leave what is familiar and move out West. At the heart of her stories are women facing new challenges, making life-changing choices, and forging relationships.

Q – So, what makes your shifter romances special?
A – It’s a mixture of things, actually. When I started writing these books, I wanted to create a series of books that I would love to read. I love paranormal romances and shifter love stories, but I also love books with some action, danger, suspense, and a strong female character. I try to roll all of these interests into my books.
My shifter books are a mix of romance, sex, longing, danger, and mystery. I also try to create some really memorable settings, whether it be historical, fantasy, or present-day, that I hope readers will enjoy.
Q – What else do you like to write?
A – I love other paranormal genres, such as vampires, psychics, and ghosts. I have a vampire/psychic suspenseful romance series, called Remembering Raven. These books take place in New Orleans where there is an evil vampire orchestrating murders of young women. The psychic heroine and her vampire soul mate re-connect after being separated centuries ago to try to solve the murders. There are six books in the series, including the free prequel. They are called:
