Born in 1958, back before colour was invented and the world was still in black & white, I was raised in Ilford, Essex in the UK. I’ve been happily married since 1980 (honestly) and my wife and I boast three adult children and four exhausting grandchildren.
I have no particular genre that I write in, I’m driven more by the story than the world in which it takes place. Having said that, I have been fascinated by the American west since childhood, a result of watching too many John Wayne movies probably. This interest stayed with me into adult life and it was inevitable I should set my debut novel in the era of the Old West. I don’t consider The Little Sentinel of the Sierra Nevada as a western though, that’s just the time period and geographical location in which the story takes place.
As well as being a writer I am also an Artist, working predominantly with oil paints. As with writing, I find I can loose myself in the detail of a new world when painting, one that will lead me who knows where. The front cover of The Little Sentinel of the Sierra Nevada is one of my own works, depicting the narrator of the story, Sarah Harlan, as she stands above Donner Lake.

I have worked for most of my adult life as an editor, firstly for Elsevier Scientific, and then for some years as a freelancer for clients such as BBC Books. I specialised in autobiographies such as Steve Lamacq’s Going Deaf for a Living, and coffee table books, such as Wild Africa.
I have a degree in History & Literature with the Open University and since retiring to France in 2008 I have been researching the First World War as well as my own family history. I helped my mother to write her memoirs, warm-hearted stories from a working class family living in the Docks area of Ipswich in the 1930s. The combination of my research and my mother’s stories came together with a dose of fiction and resulted in my first novel, Letting Go of Love: A World War I Love Story.
I am currently working on a ‘companion volume’ to Letting Go of Love. This takes one of the minor characters and follows him into post-war Blackburn, and views life from the viewpoint of his young son. My husband’s experiences of growing up in this rather grim Lancashire town will provide good material for this book.

Beth Madden, born in Brisbane, Australia, knew since childhood she was meant to write. She has written several fantasy novels which she aspires to publish both in print and electronically.
Beth received her Bachelors of Science and Arts in 2009, majoring in biomedical science, psychology and Japanese. From mid-2010 to mid-2012, she worked in Kyoto, Japan, as an assistant English teacher. Her experiences there inspired the first stories in the Treading Twisted Lines series and continue to influence much of her writing. She currently works as a court transcriber.
Besides writing and reading, Beth loves music, singing and anime. She currently lives with her younger sister and two cats – Theseus the Destroyer and Fifi the Destructor. She has at present released seven books in the Treading Twisted Lines story cycle (there’s a Book 5.1 in there) and at this point means to write 25 stories in the cycle (not including Book 5.1) and wind it all up with a novel. That’s a fair amount of work she’s set for herself while focussing on various other projects, not to mention working full time, so it may take a while; the very first book in the series, The Chosen Voice, was first released back in September 2012.
While her story cycle is a series and the books are released in recommended reading order, each Treading Twisted Lines story is designed to be an independent read (except for Book 5.1 … people should probably read Book 5 first). The stories, however, are heavily interrelated, sharing characters, settings and events. Treading Twisted Lines was meant to be a fantasy short story cycle, but tumbled from the genre somewhat with the length of Book 4.

Manolakas had always aspired to an acting career, but also had to make a living.
Dale E. Manolakas earned her B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles, and M.A., M.S., Ph.D. and J.D. degrees from the University of Southern California. She is a member of the California Bar, had the privilege of clerking for The Honorable Arthur L. Loren Mayshark was fortunate to have parents who offered him opportunities to see the world and introduce him to many exciting places which instilled in him a passion for travel. After college, he supported his itinerant lifestyle by working dozens of jobs including: golf caddy, travel writer, construction worker, fireworks salesman, substitute teacher, and vineyard laborer. Predominantly his jobs have been in the restaurant industry. He cut his teeth as a server, Maître D, and bartender at San Francisco’s historic Fisherman’s Grotto #9, the original restaurant on the Fisherman’s Wharf. While working with a colorful crew of primarily Mexican and Chinese co-workers, he gained a passion for Spanish and spent several months wandering through South America.

“Narendra Modi And Naga Peace Accord” – is one of the most current Indo-Naga political development stories. It had briefly given how the Naga political movement began since a few educated Naga people submitted a Memorandum to the Simon Commission in 1929, and then the bold declaration of the Naga Independence on 14 August 1947, one day ahead of the Indian Independence on 14 August 1947, by the Naga leaders under the banner of the Naga National Council (NNC). The NNC leaders had done this after Indian leaders’ unresponsive attitudes to their wanting to live as a free Nation. Whether one likes it or not, the decision of NNC leaders at that point of time in declaring the “Naga Independence” on 14 August 1947 became politically “historic and landmark.” Till today, various Naga groups are observing the “Naga Independence Day” with great pride and honor. And the Government of India or for that matter the State Government of Nagaland has not prevented them so far from observing the “Naga Independence Day” in various Naga places.
The emergence of Naga People’s Convention (NPC) had changed the course of Naga history as they were responsible for the birth of a full-fledged Statehood of Nagaland in 1963 as the 16th State of the Union of Indian. In the following year in 1964, a ceasefire was declared between the Government of India and Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) through the initiative of NBCC. Subsequently, talks were held for finding a settlement to the Indo-Naga issue. The talks collapsed after six rounds. Then the Shillong Accord came in 1975. This Accord had done maximum damage to NNC.
Soon after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of India, the political pundits in the Northeast began to think that some kind of political solution to the Naga political issue might come soon. “Framework Agreement” was between the Government of India and National Socialist Council Nagaland (NSCN-IM) on 3 August 2015 at Delhi.
This book has been written mainly on the Prime Minister Modi’s initiative to settle the Naga political issue and hence named – “Narendra Modi and Naga Peace Accord.”

What do we really know about God? Although the TV preachers and your internet prophets seem to speak with Him regularly, He has left us with very little to vouch for his character and even His very existence. The Bible, in both testaments, paints a picture of an unstable and irrational God; and He’s pissed, a lot. In addition and very frankly, the Bible is littered with dozens upon dozens of errors, blatant contradictions and heinous mistakes.
How can a book be such a comedy of errors yet be so revered?
The zealots tell us that the Bible is written by God or at the very least is His word as transcribed by man. If that’s the case, God my need to take a little more interest in what has been written in His name. Maybe lay off the Prozac a bit and let the OCD flow, as some attention to detail would have come in real handy here.
I, for one, have a problem with putting my blind faith in a book so littered with issues. From talking donkeys to impregnating your own daughters, this book covers as much of the lunacy is as humanly possible in hilarious prose.
As with any book I write, I have a select few people I choose to read it before publishing just to get a general consensus as to whether I have accomplished what I set out to do. I’m careful about who I pick. One, they have to know how to read and two, I want to send it to the people who, I think, will hate it the most. Finding people to hate this book was not difficult. People don’t like it when you question God and they let me know.
