Years pass and the training, planning and strategizing takes place in earnest. Billow is sent off to a dragon clan to grow and be trained and used as a weapon. On his return, he brings news that their leader, Thor, wants to join with them against King Mordor. They mount an attack on the castle.
Whilst the dragons round up their enemies, Kolby and Kaia seek out their parents. Kaia learns that she too has magic, inherited from her mother, Kaia is able to use it to free her imprisoned parents.
The castle is regained and part two ends with a new beginning – Kaia’s coronation.

Drawing on an eclectic background that includes degrees in classical languages and musicology, Anne E. Johnson has published in a wide variety of topics and genres. She’s written feature articles about music in The New York Times and Stagebill Magazine and seven non-fiction books for kids with the Rosen Group. Dozens of her short stories can be found in Urban Fantasy, Liquid Imagination, PerihelionSF, FrostFire Worlds, Shelter of Daylight, The Future Fire, Young Explorer’s Adventure Guide, Alternate Hilarities, and elsewhere.
The humorous Webrid Chronicles, a series of science fiction novels that includes Green Light Delivery and Blue Diamond Delivery, are published by Candlemark & Gleam. She is also the author of tween and YA novels, including paranormal mystery Ebenezer’s Locker and medieval mystery Trouble at the Scriptorium.
Besides writing fiction, Anne stays active in the literary community by volunteering as a judge at RateYourStory, where she is also the social media manager. On the website Eat Sleep Write she contributes a column about children’s literature. Anne lives in Brooklyn with her husband, playwright Ken Munch. When she’s not writing or editing, she’s probably baking, cooking, or attending live theater.
