This paella recipe book brings me very good feelings and memories.
First, because it contains the traditional cooking that I always had at home. I remember my mom cooking these dishes at home since I was a kid. Some dishes were cooked during week days, like Baked Rice (more humble and affordable meal), some others on most of the Sundays and special occasions, like Valencian Paella, or mainly during summer holidays, like Seafood Paella.
These are the exact ways the different Paella variations are traditionally cooked in Valencia (Spain) and its surrounding counties.
Second, because of the quality time I spent with my mom writing them down and trying to tell the story behind each recipe. I liked how enthusiastic she was about it. For her, Internet is an unknown world and, knowing that her recipes could be reached from anywhere in the Planet she was really excited.
If you are interested in traditions and cooking, with some interest and patience you can taste at home the flavor of Paella as it’s cooked at the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.

Q – So, what separates Payton Hart from other authors.
A – Probably the fact that I’m an impatient reader. I read alot myself and if I’m not engaged within the first couple of pages I’ll switch to another one. This probably makes me more persistent in writing engaging short reads as I focus on the 2 hours it takes to read it and every minute counts..
Q – What books do you like reading
A – Well, I am a compulsive reader and listing them would take all day. Jokes aside, I am a history fanatic and therefore love historical romance. The medieval era has great appeal since it has so many untold stories. I enjoy a good highlander romance and it’s mainly for that reason I started the highlander series, but really will pick up any realistic medieval historical romance with an edge.
Q – What inspires you when writing your romance books
A – I am inspired by books I’ve read, in particular authors like Julie Garwood and Marsha Canham. I also love the outdoors and after reading a romance book I often spend time alone thinking over it and then often I get a new idea. It’s the greatest feeling.
