About MY GOD IS A TRINITY:
Lack of understanding of the concept of the Holy Trinity has plagued the church of Jesus Christ for more than two thousand years. But this doctrine is not difficult to understand when we restrict ourselves solely to the sayings of our Lord Jesus Christ -the author and finisher of our faith. Although the bible does not mention the word “Trinity” in all the books, however, there is a word mentioned in the bible that confirms the doctrine of the Holy Trinity. This word reveals the plurality-in-unity of the divine nature of God. The word “Godhead” appeared 3 times in the New Testament and an in-depth study of this word, unveils the concept of the Holy Trinity. It was translated from the Greek word “THEIOS” which is translated in Thayer’s Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament as the Holy Trinity comprising the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. So the bible do, indeed, mention the Holy Trinity but by a different name.
As a former Muslim, the subject of the Holy Trinity became a major stumbling block in my early Christian walk and therefore I devoted almost two decades of my life seeking for answers to this elusive Christian doctrine. Progressively, the Lord gradually revealed this concept to me in a very easy to understand manner.
So, in this book, you will find answers to some of the questions that most of us ask in our quest to understand the Holy Trinity. For example, is Jesus Christ the same as God? Or is Jesus Christ the only Begotten Son of God? What did Jesus imply when He said “I and the Father are one”. Was He denying the Holy Spirit as part of the trinity since He didn’t say, “I, the Father and the Holy Spirit are one” but instead He left out the Holy Spirit and said, “I and the Father are one”. These and many other probing questions would be answered based on the sayings of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Moreover, did Christendom borrow the doctrine of the trinity from pagan religions in antiquity at the Council of Catholic Bishops at Nicaea in the fourth century AD? Or did the council of Nicaea echo a truth recorded in the bible from the beginning of time? The Holy Scriptures clearly unveils God to the reader without any ambiguity but human interpretations had confused this doctrine thus making it difficult to understand. The bible does not address the Holy Trinity as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Instead, the bible addresses the Holy Trinity as God the Father, the Son of God and the Holy Spirit of God. So, what is the difference between these two descriptions? Through the pages of this book, you will find answers to these and many other probing questions. Jesus Christ, in the Gospels, answered all these questions.

For most of my life I was a struggling actor. I appeared on such shows as Mash, WKRP in Cincinnati, and General Hospital. For a short time, I even taught an acting workshop. Today I am a struggling acting coach in Northern California, but back in the mid-seventies I was a recent graduate of the very prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts where I was part of the first graduating class in Los Angeles. After that I joined the ranks of the other sixty thousand would-be stars who acted in showcase plays, occasionally going on professional auditions, and attending a weekly workshop. The women that ran my workshop got involved in an interesting experiment directing a group of prisoners at the Federal Correctional Institution, Lompoc, California, in a production of Short Eyes. Except for the lead character, all the roles were played by inmates. Because of its success she was granted a weekend to conduct an improvisational workshop with the men who had been in the cast, as long as she was accompanied by a male from the outside. When she proposed the idea to me, I was excited at the possibility of being part of something that unique and agreed to be her assistant. As it turned out, nothing of any real consequence came about, but it was a very interesting weekend that few if any will ever experience. I met some very fascinating guys, some of whom I got along with and others that—let’s just say, I was glad that there were guards stationed just outside of our room.
After I got back to my regular life, I had a scare that made me think, what would happen if someone were to be part of this program and, by a twist of fate, end up back inside as an inmate? Inside Out is that story.
Waiting for that big break I had many survival jobs typical of the actors of the ’70s and ’80s. But sales seemed to offer the only possible way to make a living and contrary to popular belief, I discovered that a salesperson is made not born. In fact, commissioned sales can be almost as frustrating as breaking into show business. I am currently working out of my home, on commission, for a newsletter publishing company. I have been married twice. My first, which ended in divorce gave me my beautiful daughter Shannon. I lost my second wife of ten years to cancer in 2012. Now 63, I currently reside in Northern California with my Yorkie-Poo Toby.

Paul Emery is an independent British multi-genre author. His debut novel, the science fiction Kindle book “Ten” was published in 2014 after the basic concept had bounced around in his head like a game of Pong for many years.
His second novel “From the Mud” is set in and around World War One.
No matter when and where the novel is set, the focus of his fiction writing is always the characters, concentrating on their inner most thoughts and isn’t afraid to touch on sensitive issues such as anxiety and depression. Although his wife would no doubt disagree, he is also somewhat of a romantic at heart.
Paul started writing on the NFL (UK) forums, being a rare British fan of “American football”, before a spell writing for the British website the Football Diner. After the Diner closed its doors, he got the chance to write for the Huddle Report’s sister site Huddle Notes. He has managed to tie NFL Network’s Mike Mayock in the Huddle Report’s Top 100 contest three years in a row and published a 2015 NFL Draft Guide.
