Long Summary:
Saturday July 12th 2014, just beyond the city of Bangor, Maine, a small home rented by Thomas and Juliandra Lee, becomes the location where love and time are pitted against each other in a battle of hope. The married couple will wake at 8:36am and begin to share a delightful long awaited day together, until suddenly Juliandra is killed in front of Thomas exactly one hour later.
An emotionally distraught Thomas helplessly holds Juliandra’s dying body in his arms and in a rare and unexplainable moment his heart stops beating at the same time his beloved wife slips away. For a few brief seconds Thomas feels time pause… no sound, no movement and no pain, just the vision of Juliandra’s face and a tear that had fallen from her eye frozen in the air. A brief flash occurs just before his body collapses to the floor beside her.
After an ambulance crew revives Thomas moments later, he soon realizes that time is repeating itself whenever he wakes from sleep, causing him to relive that same morning when Juliandra was killed. He begins questioning his sanity, his beliefs and the people around him to find the answers he needs to save his wife before the clock strikes 9:36am.
Thomas ventures into unfamiliar territory where he must let go of his kind and passive nature while digging into the past of his wife’s father, Reggie Washington. Doing everything he can to keep from sleeping and avoid reliving that morning, Thomas works nonstop to link events which happened years in the past to the present day murder of his wife.
