Growing up, Sharon never thought of becoming a writer. To her, it was for people who

had the skills to transfer amazing ideas onto paper. Her husband, however, mentioned to

one of their friends that he felt Sharon wrote really well. Soon, she started thinking of a

story in her head, and it just would not go away.

In 2009, while recovering from two surgeries, Sharon started placing her thoughts on

paper. It’s been a wild ride since then.

Sharon tends to write long hand. The low-tech method is harder with her disability but

she feels more creative and the flow works better for her this way. She has used this

still amazes her how writing has taken over her life.

She is a member of three writing groups in town. She has also taken a few courses in

writing at the local community college. Sharon has attended webinars and conferences online, and outside of

Fayetteville on topics of her craft and also on marketing.

Two of her short stories were published in the anthology, Cassandra’s Roadhouse. Her

children’s book, Jasper, Amazon Parrot: A Rainforest Adventure, was released by

Fountain Blue Publishing, on Sept. 7th of this year. She is now actively submitting her

novelette, Squirrel Mafia.

She loves to read, take pictures, walk, exercise, go to the movies, and listen to music.

Sharon is a budding bird watcher, and knits on the side. She is a huge fan of all sports,

and especially of baseball, basketball, hockey, and football.

Sharon is a native of New England, raised in Northern Maine. She lives in North

I write what I call ‘serious humour.’ That is, a book with amusing characters and situations wrapped up in a serious plot. It is my view that there are already plenty of heavy, weighty works out there to challenge the intellect and perhaps, just occasionally, the reader might like something fun and light hearted. My aim then, is simply to entertain the reader and my style is light and easy on the consciousness but it doesn’t mean the story can’t have some complexities. And when you write ‘serious humour’ the story will have complexities! But, humour gives you licence to go where you choose….and I quite like that freedom.

Cupid’s Pursuit is such a book….light and fun. However, beneath the comic adventures of the central character, Matthew Malarkey, lies a social comment on the internet dating phenomenon that will appeal to both male and female readers.

A follow up novel, Vegas Pursuit, has now been released. Vegas takes Matthew on a big adventure to celebrate a big birthday where once more fate conspires to make life anything but straightforward!

Most of the situations that appear in this series of books are based on real life. Yes, even the most outlandish ones but with the added flavour of poetic licence. My characters are a mix of the most extreme sides of a number of people I have encountered in real life with a healthy shovelful of imagination. I hope you enjoy them all.

I’m Thaddeus White (actually that’s a lie, it’s a pen name), author of three books to date. Bane of Souls and Journey to Altmortis are full-length fantasy novels, and Sir Edric’s Temple is a fantasy comedy of middling length.

At the moment I’m working on a short ghost story, and the first part of a trilogy set in the same world as Bane of Souls/Journey to Altmortis. I also plan to write more comedy (following Sir Edric and Dog’s misadventures) in the future.

As well as reading fantasy I really enjoy classical history, and have recently gotten into medieval stuff (mostly 14th century). Away from books, I’m a big follower of F1 and since 2009 have bet and offered tips on the sport (mostly finishing ahead, although this season’s been a bit ropey).

I’m an active member of the Chrons forums and Goodreads.
