  14. Learn to Read with Great Speed! Only 10 minutes a day! -

Proven techniques from a practitioner. True stories. Does the concept of 'visualization' sound ridiculous to you? Have you considered all mental exercises, the "law of attraction", "manifesting" and self development as a waste of time and hokey-pokey? You haven't seriously thought about your life for years? Welcome to the club! Sounds like me just one year ago. I was also overweight, stressed a little, constantly conscious (read: worried) about my finances and quietly desperate about my relationship with God. I was aimless. I had no plans as to how my life would be in 2, 5, 10 years. I'm a reader. I've read several thousands books in my life - there wasn't much more to do in Poland before the fall of communism. We had black and white TV with only 2 channels; I saw first PC when I was 11; owned my first PC when I was 14. So I had read and this habit stuck with me. In August 2012 I've read a book - "The Slight Edge" by Jeff Olson. It took me a whole month to start implementing some ideas from this book. I've absorbed more personal development stuff. Gradually I decided to "convert" to the personal development. In the middle of November 2012 I created my personal mission statement and I consider it as the real starting point of my progress. During several months I've applied some self-help concepts and gotten the results - I lost some weight, increased my savings, improved some skills, got rid of my bad habits, developed better ones. I'm pragmatic. A "down to earth" person. I'm not into an artistic expression or beautiful forms. I'm all about the utilitarian, bottom-line results. Despite the ridiculous language I found there is something to this whole "hokey-pokey" stuff. What I've learned, I'm now sharing. My books are not abstract. I try to keep away from going mystical as far as I can. Neither am I going deep into theory. It's not just the knowledge we need to get in order to change our lives - the Internet age has proven it quite clearly. What you find in my books are: - detailed techniques and methods describing how you can improve your skills and bring results in specific areas - real life examples - my personal stories So, no matter if you are completely new to the personal development or have been crazy about the Law of Attraction for years - if you look for the concrete things my books provide exactly that. And they show it on example of an ordinary guy, not some ivory tower guru. I've been married for more than 12 years. I'm a father of two boys and one girl. I'm working full time in the IT industry. And quite recently - I've became an author. My interests are in transparency, integrity and progress.

  17. Progesterone The Ultimate Woman’s Feel Good Hormone (Japanese Version) -

My books are all about answering hard questions that you have about medical things bugging you. We're all different (like snow flakes) so only you know if I'm speaking to you. But know that I believe in the Hormone theory of Aging (look it up). You get pituitary problems (where all hormones are controlled) and BOOM! bad things happen. Most docs mean well, but have no way to tie this stuff into what is ailing you RIGHT THEN and NOW. I teach you WHY those hormones are important, and why your symptoms matter. I also ALWAYS reference everything because I believe I am creating a medical legal document and educate large groups of physicians and the public with these books -- I better be able to back it up. Helps I've been practicing 28 years also. So you know -- I'm nothing special -- just a doctor who's NOT forgotten how to reason and question (annoyingly I do it all the time) and I am EXCESSIVELY curious. I always ask why (i.e. why is your testosterone low? Why did your progesterone drop?) If you like your pain meds a little too much -- don't bother buying my stuff. I want people who DREAM of getting better -- who want it so bad that they'll cruise Amazon just hoping for some tidbit in a book that can help them with their miserable days. If that's you then check out my books -- you're my peeps. My first book was a textbook (700+ pages of pure ol' fun) I co-authored on preventive medicine, and I tend to use common sense approaches to address miserable chronic medical problems -- and then I like to show where in the medical literature peer-reviewed studies and research supports everything I say. I think I know my stuff (uhh I better -- ever try talking to audiences of 5000 people -- mostly physicians? And then answer ALL their questions for 6 hours afterwards?) and I LOVE to speak publicly and do it often (2-3 times a week). I've been lucky enough to do speaking tours all around the world including Japan, Australia, and almost every major city in the USA. I usually educate physicians but now I'm trying to make my books (and myself) more available to the public and try to aim right at the heart of some pretty contentious issues in medicine -- fibromyalgia, migraine headaches, hot flashes, night sweats, and men's low testosterone. Don't wonder -- just get my (cheap) books and find out -- then educate your doctor as to what's really going on because with the change in the healthcare laws you BETTER take charge and know more -- save yourself because no one else will!!! Check out my website for info on paperback copies: http://danpursermd.com/

  18. SLEEPY HOLLOW: Rise Headless and Ride by Richard Gleaves -

RICHARD GLEAVES had given up Halloween. He was too busy writing and composing theater pieces like Dorian, Oswald on ice, and The Golden Days or winning BMI's Harrington Award for Creative achievement. He was too busy being an adult! This October, one year later, he will be giving a book signing at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery and reading from this, his first (and very Halloween-y) novel. No longer a Halloween Scrooge, Richard looks forward to five more Jason books and to being able to write off future ghost hunting trips as a business expense.

  21. How to Experience God: Understand the Longings of Your Soul, Discover How God Feels for You and Enjoy Intimacy with Jesus -

"Deep within your heart you live and yearn for experience—all of us crave for it—it’s not really things, status and success we desire, it’s the experi-ence those things provide we are after (and how they make us feel inside). It’s no secret that you and I desire to be known and to be loved—that we yearn for romance, adven-ture, thrills and fascination—and that we seek lasting friendships, approval from people, financial security and success… but why? Why you and I want those things? You desire those things because they feel great—every longing of your soul anticipates a specific ex-perience. In fact, “experience” is the concealed driv-ing force behind every human pursuit. Unfortunately, the same passionate longings we have are the root for our addictions (good and evil). "
