   Hello, I'm Beth. I was born in Manchester England but now live on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia where everyday is a good one. I have always had a love of reading and even though my background is in accounting I have now discovered my love of writing. My favourite authors are Janet Evanovich, Sophie Kinsella and Gemma Halliday. 'It Started With A House' is the first in hopefully a long list of titles and as yet I haven't won any awards. But fingers crossed that one day that may change :)

   Kevin Cooper was born in Hull, East Yorkshire, England in 1963 He moved to the USA in 1985 where he first obtained a GED in Kentucky. He then obtained a scholarship and went on to study at Western KY University for two years. He transferred some of his credits to Asbury College and obtained a BA in Psychology in 1991 He studied at Asbury Theological Seminary for a year and then moved to Arizona. In 1998 he obtained an M.ed from Grand Canyon University where he was awarded a Fellowship. He was a substitute teacher for several high school districts in and around Phoenix for over six years. He became a Manager for The Hertz Corporation in 1999-2004. during this time he also became a lecturer of General Studies at the Metropolitan College of Court Reporting. In 2004 he returned to England with the dream of becoming a writer. He however then set his mind to other things and after few jobs got a position working in the NHS where he stayed for almost six years. Finally having to come out of work to look after his wife. He set his heart to writing again and has since become an author.

    Born in the Midwest, I was a child of the 70s. Donna Summer was my favorite singer and the song “Shake, Shake, Shake” was a favorite song to dance to. The downturn of the steel industry took my family to upstate New York when I was twelve. There, I learned the techniques of how to properly shovel a driveway, how to drive in a blizzard, and how real Buffalo Chicken Wings taste. I grew into a pretty good violist and tried my hand at writing teenage love songs on the piano. I loved to read and write. Many books whose titles I forget, but whose plots impressed my soul, made becoming an author a dream worth pursuing. I absolutely love to cook for my husband and six children and I’m a budding vegetable gardener. Writing music is my other favorite creative outlet. My works in progress are: a devotional of inspirational quotes for daily meditation and a series called The Ages of Laus Perennis. I love to weave the reality of the spiritual realm into the fabric of the physical world.

    Matt Wolf was born on March 14, 1986 in Southern California. At a young age, Matt had an unusual mix of passions; archery, herbalism, tracking, and everything to do with Japanese history and language, but he was always first and foremost a story teller and a writer. Early on, he wrote epic tales of mice inspired by Brian Jacque’s Redwall. Then at sixteen years of age he was roped into the world of young adult fantasy and from then on was utterly captivated; spending all-nighters finishing series like Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time, and Terry Goodkind’s Sword of Truth. Matt was also stirred by sights of the world. The rolling grass hills of Switzerland and the highlands of Scotland inspired much of the setting for the saga he would later write. After graduating from high school, Matt moved to Oregon to attend Oregon State University. With the combination of too much solitude, breathtaking landscapes, and a heap of books, Matt began writing again and The Ronin Saga took form. Dreaming and scheming about The Ronin every day from eighteen on, Matt wanted to create a novel he would enjoy reading and would fill others with the same vibrant, living worlds and characters that he loved as a youth. At age twenty, he completed his first draft, and had every intention of publishing. However, after a writing convention, where he was given the “go-ahead” by New York Times bestselling author Tracy Hickman, Matt wavered, feeling The Ronin still wasn’t ready. In fall 2007 Matt transferred to UCSB as an Astrophysics Major, a far cry from the English degree he later ended up earning. Here he read literature as far ranging as Ulysses, to Beowulf, but always reserved a special niche in his heart for fantasy. All the while, he spun and crafted the Ronin and the world of Daerval. After four years of Japanese, and a heavy emphasis on Old English, Matthew graduated with a passion for language as well. The languages of the book (Yorin and Elvish) along with the wide range of cultures in the story are heavily influenced by these traditions. Finally in the summer of 2011, the first book The Ronin, in the epic series of The Ronin Saga was completed. As for Matthew’s hobbies, they are far ranging as well, but dwell mostly in the realm of the “old soul”. He is also a Kung Fu instructor.

    Elizabeth (EJ) Lamprey lives on the Firth of the Forth within easy distance of Edinburgh, Scotland, a few miles from where Grasshopper Lawns would be, if there was a Grasshopper Lawns retirement village. Among many other jobs, she was a rental agent with a lot of retirement village apartments on her books, ranging from the extremely upmarket to the slightly alarming. One was in a tower block - as they reached the elevator the doors started to close and the prospective client put out his walking stick to stop them. The closing doors chopped it neatly in half. He decided not to see the apartment, and she decided to look for another type of work. She tries to separate her life into writing, working and walking the dog, but the sections keep trying to overlap. Writing the Grasshopper Lawns whodunits is her favourite occupation.
