Peter Yang was born in Hamilton, Ontario. He is a full-time student and an avid reader, particularly of philosophy and English. He lives with his mother and father, who have been a constant source of support in his academic endeavours.

Writing has always been a passion for Peter and winning a writing scholarship when he was in middle school only served to enhance that passion. An admirer of William Strunk JR. and E.B. White–the authors of The Elements of Style–provided a lot of the inspiration he needed.
