About Help! I’m Stuck: How To Manage Your Mind, Defeat Distractions and Create Confidence, Book 2 by S.R. Roberts
Does your environment make it difficult for you to make responsible decisions? How often have you been lured away from productive work by endless distractions? Does facing spontaneous challenges make you uncomfortable?
It happens to everyone. You become a product of average surroundings and your mindset goes into ‘default thought.’ As a result, you think on the most basic level, just to get by.
If you can take control of your mind, you can take control of your life.
Everyday, there is a battle going on in your mind. At any given time, the right decisions have to be made, opportunities must be taken and challenges need to be met. Book 2 of the Help! I’m Stuck series shows you how to discipline your thoughts, while navigating towards goal achievement.
This book will help you:
-build a strong work ethic by eliminating distractions
-become more self-aware and make daily improvements
-exercise your power of choice to reach peak performance while working on your goals
-organize your thoughts to proactively handle challenges
-shift those limiting beliefs into dynamic action
When you’re not thinking for yourself, someone else is thinking for you.
If we allow others to control our mindset, it becomes impossible to build a future. How can you take action towards a positive life, when someone else has the advantage over your thoughts?
Help! I’m Stuck: How To Manage Your Mind, Defeat Distractions and Create Confidence gives insight on how easy it is for someone to manipulate your thoughts.
The information contained in this book will shatter the most ordinary mindset, while building a more progressive way of thinking. It will silence the negative internal chatter and enhance your confidence.

Cold Heart
I was born a fighter. Destined for the ring. Cold. Hard. Focused. I never expected to have to run from my enemies and hide out, but it’s not just me anymore. At first, we find serenity in the small town I tucked us away in, but nothing is that easy. A beautiful girl next door grabs my attention, and for a moment, I believe love might be possible–again. How wrong I was. Inviting this hot woman into my world was the biggest mistake I’ve made. One minute, she’s there, and the next, she’s gone. Kidnapped. Taken from me. Good damn thing I was born a fighter. I’ll never give up. Never.

With perseverance and faith I came to understand and accept what I had become and discover a new me with its incumbent peace. Upon my arrival home, to San Francisco, I felt like a flower which has opened up to absorb all that life has to offer.
A Glasgow Gang War by Geoff Small
About A Glasgow Gang War by Geoff Small
When two decapitated heads turn up in the Ibrox trophy room, the great and the good of Glasgow are convinced it’s gang warfare.
With local crime godfather Steve Black dead and Billy Boyd – his Southside rival – in prison for his murder, there’s a power vacuum that needs filling, and fast. Desperate to restore order, the local establishment are happy to hand the city over to a Dublin fentanyl dealer called Raymond Doran, but DCI Curzon is determined to keep Glasgow Glaswegian and the streets free of lethal synthetic opioids, whatever it takes.
In a plot which incorporates global gangsterism and an unlikely link between Hibs soccer casuals and a multinational pharmaceutical company, A Glasgow Gang War has more twists and turns than a Machiavellian tango dancer.

I’m addicted to the aesthetic quality of Scotland’s largest city, Glasgow: the gridiron street plan of its centre; the sharp corners of its machine-cut sandstone buildings as smooth-looking as chocolate bars; the cobbled alleys; the old-school bars. In the same way that musicians love the Albert Hall or tennis players love Wimbledon, for me, as an author, Glasgow is a stage that just has to be written on.
When I was young I’d visit the city and wander its streets and, in many areas, it felt more like the noir backdrop to an american crime movie than anything British. In my febrile imagination at the time, if I was wandering up the alleys of West George Lane I was in Chicago; up Gardner Street’s steep Hill, then I was in San Francisco; on the corner of St Vincent and Renfield Street – outside the old Bank of Scotland building – then I had to be in Manhattan. I couldn’t afford to travel further afield back then, but, now that I have and I’m in my mid-forties, I still believe that there is no place on earth whose tenement buildings are as grand or moody or romantic as those in our Scottish cities. And this is the quality I am trying to share every time I write another installment of The Dirty Rouge detective series. I like to think that my hero, DCI Pat Curzon, still sees the city with the same sense of wonder as I did as a teenager. Indeed, for all his cynicism, Curzon too is a dreamer, a forty-four-year-old man who still sees Times Square where others only see Glasgow Cross.
Trust and Treachery
When space freighter pilot Calen Macleef accidentally wins Larissa “Bit” Earnest in a lucky hand of poker, his main concern is what his gruff and uncompromising brother Jack will say about it. Jack Macleef is the captain of the ship in a world where space travel has only recently become the norm and space piracy abounds. Painful memories of prior abuse surface for Bit as she finds herself on a freighter full of rowdy, ungentlemanly merchant marines. Jack works to find a safe place for frightened Bit amongst the ungentlemanly crew, but good looks and innocent ways continually charm the men. With tension and danger running high, each begins to wonder: will they survive the pirates… and each other?

My journey to becoming a writer began in 8th grade when I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and pulled from school to recover. During this time, I was left alone for hours on end and it was then that I discovered new friends within the pages of books. I also learned the blessing of creating my own friends by writing down the stories that plagued my lonely mind—as demented as that sounds. Therefore at the ripe age of fourteen, I wrote my first novel. It sucked! But I kept going and now I am an Indie Author with numerous books out. I never imagined that first horrible novel about a man who crashlanded on his long-lost homeworld would turn into a lifelong passion.
I now live in Chicago, IL with my amazing husband and two rambunctious kittens, Groot and Rocket.

Jennifer S. Alderson was born in San Francisco, raised in Seattle, and currently lives in Amsterdam. Her love of travel, art, and culture inspires her ongoing mystery series, the Adventures of Zelda Richardson. Her background in journalism, multimedia development, and art history enriches her novels. When not writing, Jennifer can be found in a museum, biking around Amsterdam, or enjoying a coffee along the canal while planning her next research trip.
There are currently four books in the stand-alone series following the adventures of traveler and culture lover Zelda Richardson. In Down and Out in Kathmandu, Zelda gets entangled with a gang of smugglers whose Thai leader believes she’s stolen his diamonds. The Lover’s Portrait is a suspenseful “whodunit?” about Nazi-looted artwork that transports readers to wartime and present-day Amsterdam. Art, religion, and anthropology collide in Rituals of the Dead, a thrilling artifact mystery set in Dutch New Guinea (Papua) and the Netherlands. Her short story set in Panama and Costa Rica, Holiday Gone Wrong, will help fans better understand this unintentional amateur sleuth’s decision to study art history and give new readers a taste of her tantalizing misadventures.
Her travelogue, Notes of a Naive Traveler, is a must read for those interested in learning more about—or wishing to—travel to Nepal and Thailand. It was also awarded a Readers’ Favorite 5 star medal.

The Donut Cookbook: Top 50 Recipes with Easy and Delicious Donuts that your Family Will Love
About The Donut Cookbook: Top 50 Recipes with Easy and Delicious Donuts that your Family Will Love
The way of cooking deep-fried products was known to the ancient Romans who cooked so-called “globules” – dough balls fried in fat or melted fat, oiled with honey and sprinkled with poppy seeds. In the Middle Ages in Europe baked “krapfen” – products curved in the shape of “S”, similar to modern donuts. Later, in the 18th century, the production of donuts with an exact recipe with fruit filling was described. In all corners of Europe, in America they prepare their donuts: German Berliners, Tirol, Austrian kits, Swiss scalpels, targets, curd glazed donut, Italian galaxies, Spanish cuirasses, American donuts. Everyone is familiar with the traditional donut (round ball of golden color) and puff (in the form of a ringlet). Traditional Russian homemade donuts and physio fry in a lot of oil and eat them hot. Berliners, “European” donuts, round or oblong, are deep-fried with a mandatory coup. They have a uniform golden color on both sides, on the lateral surface there is a white ring band.

INTERMITTENT FASTING FOR WEIGHT LOSS: Preview – Chapter 4 Why Low Calorie Diets Don’t Work
Have you ever tried lowering your calories to lose weight? Did it work long term? Could you keep the weight you lost off? If you’re reading this book, my guess is that it didn’t, and you’re not alone. Data from the UK show 1 in 124 obese women get results using this method, meaning the nutrition guidelines some professionals are following have a 99.5% fail rate. A quick goggle of what happened to the contestants on the hit TV series “The Biggest Loser” should be enough to put you off this method. This show is a classic example of why moving more and eating less only works in the short term, if at all. There is a reason there are few reunion shows. So why are low calorie diets flawed?
A study on 14 contestants on the biggest loser show revealed some alarming results six years after filming had finished. The initial results were impressive but as the study showed, they were short lived. Below are results of some of the factors tested.
Weight
• Average weight before filming: 328 lb/ 148 kg
• Average weight after 30 weeks on the show: 199 lb/ 90 kg
• Average weight six years after final: 290 lb/131 kg
As you can see, contestants lost a massive amount of weight during filming, but struggled to maintain the weight loss over a long period of time.

About The Donut Cookbook: 51 Easy, Sweetened Homemade Donut Recipes To Relish
When it comes to baked donuts (donatsah, if you want), people immediately think of the company Dunkin ‘Donuts. And it is quite deserved. The international network of coffee houses with donuts has won many countries. The history of the famous coffee houses began in 1950, when Bill Rosenberg opened his first cafe in Quincy, Massachusetts. And in 1955 the license was given to the company’s first franchisee. Today, coffee shops operate in 33 countries, serving more than 2.7 million visitors daily. Here you will be offered classic ring- glazed donat – strawberry, lemon, banana, covered with black or white chocolate; shell-donates, the highlight of which are various creams; appetizing royal-tart, glazed moti-rings and cake donates from chocolate dough.

My parents had a restaurant, and from thirteen or fourteen I knew that I would be a cook. I can do whatever I want, I have complete freedom, but for a chef it’s very important. I have been cooking since I was 13 years old – frying potatoes, doing some trivial things. And I always knew more than my friends. However, I built a further career consciously. Even while studying, I realized that I prefer cookery to the confectionery business. Then she worked with Japanese and Mexican cuisines. Now I’m actively learning Italian cuisine. I cook pasta with mild cheese and basil pesto sauce. People are surprised when they try it. But it’s very tasty. I do not regret spending time preparing food. I chose the cook’s profession, because he always liked delicious food. I never get bored when I cook checked or come up with new dishes.

Writing is my passion. I wrote articles for different websites such as associated content, which is no longer available, but I hadn’t yet established myself as an author at that time. Through my college years, I learned and absorbed useful information in addition to being anxious to express my creativity and experiences. I published my first novel “Partially Broken Never Destroyed” in 2012, which was when I took on the title of being an author. Be sure to check out all four parts of this series.

The night Claire Tanith’s small village is attacked, her mother sends her alone into the cursed forest, the one she’d been forbidden to enter all her life, with these mysterious words: ‘They will protect you.’
On the run from her attackers, she soon finds the forest is not as abandoned as she’d once thought.
Beautiful and elegant, the elves seem to be everything the legends said they would be. But legends sometimes forget the true history of things and Claire’s eyes are soon opened to a world she never knew. One that has been kept from her for most of her life. All Claire wants to do is return home and start looking for her mother, the only family she ever had. But the elves have different plans. The mysterious mark that appeared on her arm isn’t a curse, at least not to them anyway, and before she knows it, she is whisked away on a mission she never agreed to, unless they help her in return.
Now she is stuck on an adventure with the perverted elf, Aeron, and one with an attitude, Farron. But there is more to this adventure than she’d ever hoped for…

Author Bio:
Born in 1988 in Hudson, Florida, where she still resides and sweats in the heat. She has a Bachelors of Science in film from Full Sail University where she learned a little bit about crafting stories. It wasn’t until after she graduated that she really delved into writing and she wrote her first book, Cursed.
When not writing, she likes to lose herself in books and TV, and dabble in other artistic ventures like coloring, drawing, and photography. She also likes to travel when she gets the chance and even started a blog about it, Devil’s Hole Ventures. She’s a big nerd as well with a video game collection that rivals her book library, a pop culture junkie, and toy collector. She loves fashion and thrift shopping, calling herself a well dressed nerd.
Also, she is obsessed with her cats, taking way too many pictures of them. Enough with the cats already, geez!
