There was even an owl with violet long and round feathers and an elderly turtle with a giant shell which enjoyed chewing lettuces.
At this very early age, he makes his first exploration and discovers that not only humans have the right to life, but all the beings of nature…

Charis Lianos has been writing children’s and adolescent literature for over seven years. From an early age he had always a very strong feeling for creative writing and so far he has published three books in Greek. Novels, fairytales, lyrics and poems are his passion. In less than a year, in December 2016, “Eros the son of the storm”, his second book of modern fantasy literature was published. This is a fantasy book and takes us on a trip to the world of emotions and shares with us, family and non-family moments. Feelings, moments and desires of people have a dominant role in this book.

The main character of the book is Eros, who spends time with his little son, Leon, reading a fairy tale. But it is not only these heroes who are involved in the story of this book. There is also a young couple who wants to have a child, but for some mysterious reasons they cannot. By reading the book, “Eros” one will notice that time is alternating and that the past along act with the present in parallel. The characters of the book evolve by expressing their desires and by bringing out their feelings. In the plot of the book, the reader will notice that heroes’ wishes are difficult to be accomplished, but at the end, they find a way to fulfill them. The book is evolving into a fictitious story about how the planets were created to raise readers’ awareness of global warming. At this point, you will discover other things about the heroes, but also things that the heroes themselves could not perceive.

His third book of children’s and adolescent literature “Stachtompouta and Spirtoulis, Like good old times…” was published in December 2017. The story continues in this book and new characters make their appearance. This book unravels the deep connection between a dog and his owner.

Bebis for Mr. Charalampos was not an ordinary dog; he was his child, his best friend and companion to his old age, and all thanks to his wife he had found comfort and he felt alive again. He did not feel alone, he had company. Mr Charalampos had begun to believe again. He always believed in love, in love like old times, like the one he felt for his wife. When people were human, where nothing divide them but only unite them. The family had adopted a different lifestyle since they had all moved to the small but so special village. Alkis spoke to his kittens as if talking to people, and they understood him.

I am Brian James, your Canadian writer from Russia. Confusing already? I was born on the 24th of January 1990 in Moscow, to a Canadian couple who had immigrated to Russia. I was raised in Moscow till 2001, when I returned to my ‘maple’ roots. As Canadian as I am, I still feel fairly Russian too!
Academia was always a sore spot for me, since I was not all that fond of mathematics or science, and history was incredibly alien to me. The only things that interested me were sports and reading. Thanks to my mom, who taught me how to read as soon as I could make out the alphabet, I developed a voracious appetite for literature and simultaneously for fitness.

We tried to have our own children for a year or so but we were not able to. Since we really wanted children, we decided to adopt two beautiful children from the US who were in the foster care system. There are days though, believe me that we say to each other “God tried to tell us not to have kids but we didn’t listen.” Both children come with disabilities and have many struggles. They run the gamut of ADHD, PTSD, Attachment Disorder, and Asperger’s.
I am type A go getter that needs to try and control everything. As a result, every diagnosis, every meeting, every concern I am researching and I mean researching in detail.
