I have had so many interests in my life that I couldn’t possibly name them all here.
At an early age my life revolved around sports and competition.
My brothers and I were all seemingly like-minded in everything. And since we lived 10 miles away from our nearest neighbor and coming from a low-income family, we had plenty of time to build cohesion and do reckless things in the name of fun.
We started out dreaming of playing in the NBA and would often practice anywhere from 2-6 hrs per day. It became an obsession.
We were three boys dreaming of attending at least one NBA game before we died. (Lol, we thought 100$ was more money than we could ever earn).
We all kept our passion for basketball, but our new love was in becoming Navy Seals.
Upon learning how demanding the training was, we jumped at the idea to find the limits of our ability. We would begin jogging and swimming for hours at a time. And once, we took it further by jumping in a river 2 miles from home and in 30 degree temperatures we wanted to see if we could sprint home without help or an ambulance. We made it, barely. And now I both cringe and chuckle at the memory.
A year or so later things took a hard right turn.
My father passed away in Florida, and my uncle committed suicide at our home.
However, A few hours before I was the last to see him alive. I was to bring him a dinner plate of fried chicken on my mother’s orders.
His lasts words to me were of pure hatred. I could feel the pain in his eyes staring at me. The words were so angry and cruel I failed to understand it completely.
I eventually forgave him in my heart and knew that the words were coming from a place of pain and fear.
I regret not trying harder to talk more with him. But, it’s all ancient history.

It was a little after this I began to work labor jobs on the side to buy a punching bag and boxing equipment. I wanted to start learning to be a warrior, and I trained day & night like a man possessed.
I eventually began training in a real gym, and i fell in love almost right away.
Over the years I have fought so many times on the street, and in the cage, i can’t for the life of me remember what my fight record is.

Honestly, i realized much later my only goals were to show my dominance over another person and mask my pain and fear from early life.
My life has changed in many ways since then, and now i wish to help others find love, joy, faith and mental strength.
I am a firm believer in love and its raw strength. I believe love is the ONLY answer and hope for the human race (i hope that’s not too cheesy for you).

I enjoy councilling others on topics like relationship dynamics, dating, life direction, fear, and self growth in nearly every conceivable way. I look forward to answer any questions you may have.

C.C. Monö (Carl Christian Monö) was born in June 1977 in Stockholm, Sweden. 3 months later, his adventurous parents dragged him to Tanzania for two years. Chris would eventually spend nearly ten years in Africa between 1977 and 1994. As an adult, he’s also lived in Brussels and Serbia.

In 2007, mostly out of curiosity, Chris began exploring the world of followership. At the time, it was considered a trivial subject. Maybe that’s what attracted Chris to the subject to begin with.
