The result is this little book that is power packed with information…no fluff, minimal illustrations, and no long-winded explanations. It’s a unique blend of esoteric Tarot meanings combined with astrology and numerology. I’ve included a few “lessons” on astrology in the event you aren’t familiar with the zodiac and a simple numerology explanation.

You can use these simple meanings to learn what’s going on in your own life. As my teacher used to say, the Tarot cards will always give you little clues…you just need to know how to interpret them! Just remember that when you lay out the cards, they will tell you what you NEED to know and not necessarily what you WANT to know.

Since the first edition, I’ve added more information to this book, including symbols and colors in the Tarot and five sample layouts with interpretations. I initially wanted to keep the book very basic rather than complicated. However, I realized there were some readers that wanted to become more immersed in the Tarot cards, so I provided more in-depth details.

Now you will find chapters on colors in the Tarot and symbols in Tarot cards. I personally don’t use them in my readings, but maybe many of you will want to!

I also listened to the readers who were kind enough to write reviews, and it seemed as though some were disappointed because there were no “examples” of layouts in the book. So I took pictures of five layouts and explained them the best I could. Please remember I’m not a professional photographer, so they might look amateurish. That’s because they are!

One day, she felt compelled to walk into the Psychic Eye in Las Vegas and soon realized why. There she found that same game that she “played” as a child and quickly purchased it.

When going to the street carnivals and amusement parks, she was always attracted to the fortune-telling machine like the one in the movie “Big.” She feels spirits, can sense energy vibrations of others, and constantly hones her increasing clairvoyant skills.

In 1970, she picked up her first astrology book, Linda Goodman’s “Sun Signs.” She started reading tarot cards in 1975 using Eden Grey’s “Complete Guide to the Tarot” as stated in the book’s description.

In 1976, she taught herself how to read palms using “The Complete Book of Palmistry” by Joyce Wilson and still has the original book containing her notations.

Katie believes in reincarnation and has done past life regressions using self-hypnosis. She read, “You Were Born Again to be Together” by Dick Sutphen in 1976 and found that the book contained beliefs identical to her own.

In 1979, a man who had studied under Sydney Omarr offered to teach her how to do astrology charts manually using complicated mathematical calculations. She now uses software to do charts and is able to interpret them without the use of reference books. Hint: Astrology is a lot more than the “sun sign.”

Outside of the metaphysical world, in the “real world,” Katie lives with her three mutts: Romeo, Rascal, and Maxwell Smart, her newest addition. She is a voracious reader, is an advocate for animals, is both a history and a movie buff, is somewhat of a trivia nut, and loves to dance.

She is currently thinking about writing a book about fun little tricks of palmistry. Hint: You can determine a person’s IQ or whether or not the person is generous. It comes in handy if you are checking out a possible mate.
