Jacen Aster is probably sane, and you really shouldn’t listen to rumors that tell you otherwise. You know, just in case. There’s an awful lot of people that claim being a writer requires a certain type of insanity, possibly multiple types of insanity. I assure you, however, that rumors of his sanity (or lack there of) have been greatly exaggerated.

Regardless of his state of sanity, Jacen Aster enjoys long walks in the park, piña coladas and being caught in the- Wait, no, that’s not right at all. No, Jacen Aster has never had a piña colada, and only knows what they are because he got curious when he first watched Shrek. No, he’s much more a whiskey man. Having lived in the St. Louis area of Missouri for most of his youth, he also doesn’t particularly enjoy getting caught in the ran. Rain in that foul swamp of a region means thunderstorms, and while lightning is cool to watch, thunderstorms every night for months on end is something that gets old quickly.

Onto things he does like! Aside from writing and devouring sci-fi and fantasy works, he thoroughly enjoys travel. He has visited the majority of the United States, and against all rational expectations, his two trips out of country so far were not to Canada or Mexico, but to Egypt and the United Kingdom. The reason for this is really quite simple, he likes history far more than he likes people and those places are steeped in periods of history he particularly enjoys. He has a nasty case of wanderlust, which he really rather hopes is permanent, and hopes someday to actually have enough money to travel to all the places he wants to go.

Because of his love of travel, he currently keeps no pets, and while he resides once again in the St. Louis area currently, he is unlikely to stay there longer than necessary. He has a strong aversion to humidity, and St. Louis is one of the worst offenders, second only to the coast of Texas in summer. He hopes to wander over to the east coast for a while, though preferably not during hurricane season as he has a powerful fear of a shark decapitating him as it flies through his bedroom window. Irrational? Perhaps. But all the best fears are.

My first novel, Unholy Angels was written over a two-year period and, in part, in some very unlikely places such as line-ups at deli-counters and cash registers, and doctor and dentist waiting rooms. While I was out running errands, I jotted down scenes for the story in a notebook I toted around in my purse, and then typed them up when I returned home.

Writing novels is what I have wanted to do since I was ten-years-old and undertook to write a book based on my beloved Nancy Drew mysteries. As I grew older, I continued to read mysteries but I found that as much as I enjoyed attempting to solve the puzzle, I became enthralled whenever a new development occurred in the romantic relationships of the characters. When I thought of writing Unholy Angels, I knew it would have to be a romance.

Of course, my love of mystery and suspense meant that while my characters were finding love, they would also face life-threatening danger.

I live with my husband and daughter. When I’m not writing, or spending time with my family, you can usually find me curled up with a good book, or out shopping for one.

Even though the Delta is a part of the Kushite Empire, because of the difference in altitude above sea level and the steady increase of foreign settlers. The Kushites viewed it as a separate region, and ruled from their throne farther south at Thebes. The authority of the throne being in the south at Thebes only lead to more foreigners landing in the Delta region to call the Nile Valley their home. This practice eventually frustrated the Kushites. So after continuous warnings to the foreigners, to stop the migrating of their countrymen into the Delta regions and the foreign population failing to do so. Narmer and the rest of the Kushite Empire rage war against the foreigners, and take back full control of the Delta regions. Once again unifying the upper and lower regions of the Kushite Empire as one.

That encouragement boosted me a lot.
I became an adult, twenty five years old. My writing also got adulthood and I started writing novels for adults and sent them to weekly magazines, monthly magazines and some publishing houses for publication. Few of them were published and I have got self-published my remaining writings. I could make some profit also. Until this moment, I wrote only in my mother tongue Telugu.
Before I turned forty, I took a masters degree in English Literature. Reading English novels is one of my hobbies and I started reading them at my twentieth year itself. Wilber Smith, Sidney Sheldon, Irving Wallace, James Hardly Chase are some of my favorite writers. That gave me sufficient command over English language, confidence and courage to take up studying post-graduation in English literature.
Writing in English was in my mind for a long time but I have started it only after completing my post-graduation in English literature. I stopped writing in my mother tongue completely and devoted myself to write in English. I have completed five novels in writing in English and my initial idea was to get them self published just like the way I did for my novels in my mother tongue. But by the time I completed my fifth novel, the paperback reading is drastically decreased with the advent of e-books and the various available devices to read them. I was compelled to consider whether it would be better to get my novels published as e-books rather than take them out as paperbacks on my own. I have started searching for perfect platform to put my novels as e-books and for sometime I have considered launching my own website also to put my novels as e-books. At that time, Smashwords came into my notice and it appeared as a perfect platform to launch my novels. I did not waste much time to put my novels as e-books on Smashwords.

Without bothering about getting published, I continued imagining and writing for children. I sent all of them to the children’s magazines. Some of the stories were published. That encouragement boosted me a lot.
I became an adult, twenty five years old. My writing also got adulthood and I started writing novels for adults and sent them to weekly magazines, monthly magazines and some publishing houses for publication. Few of them were published and I have got self-published my remaining writings. I could make some profit also. Until this moment, I wrote only in my mother tongue Telugu.
Before I turned forty, I took a masters degree in English Literature. Reading English novels is one of my hobbies and I started reading them at my twentieth year itself. Wilber Smith, Sidney Sheldon, Irving Wallace, James Hardly Chase are some of my favorite writers. That gave me sufficient command over English language, confidence and courage to take up studying post-graduation in English literature.
