So why did I start this site.

I have many passions but the two most prominent ones are Writing and travel.

I am a writer and author that love the world of mystery and fantasy and would like to share my sometimes weird, strange and adventurous stories. Think of it as a centralized point where you can find everything about my books and me you need.

Here I will discover, learn and share knowledge of a different world and you are invited along.

I always have been a free spirit that is looking for adventure whether it is a fare around the corner or a journey to an exotic destination, I like to experience it all and would love for you to enjoy the journeys with me

Second Why

Why now

I was always a very imaginative child, you could literally leave me with a bunch of rocks and I would be as contented to play with them as a pig in mud.

My grandfather instilled in me a love for books and he would often tell me ghost stories, there my interest in the unknown was sparked and although it branched out into mythology and myths, he was still the foundation for this to start. He wanted to write children’s books but those days life was different and he did not have the opportunity to do so, which was a pity; he would have been a great writer. The point is that I think writing is a part of me, in my genes I inherited from my Grandfather just like a second generation singer, actor or any other career. I am always thinking about writing, good story ideas, character names and so forth.

But writing is scary with many what if scenarios flying around in your head,

What if nobody likes your stories?

What if you just get negative remarks?

You can’t make a living out of writing,

What if your stories aren’t unique enough or

What if people just realise how weird you actually are.

So sometimes it is just easier to fall into the mainstream and try to paddle for all that you are worth with a mediocre career and going with the flow, always thinking about what you really want to do, wrapping your ideas in a nice little box storing it away in the back of your mind.

That is exactly what I did but I realized, life is really a fickle thing, sometimes you have to do what makes you happy and one day you find yourself having to face a difficult decision, go on or take the plunge and just at least try, so here I am taking the road less travelled.

I have a Masters Degree in Tourism management and has been a travel agent for thirteen years. I realized though that I really loved travel, sitting in an office the whole day was making me depressed only dreaming about what if’s. I decided I had to follow my passions does not matter where the journey takes me. But I do not want to come to the end of my life full of regrets. I am risking it all to try and gain everything!
