Author Bio:
Having earned a degree in Foreign Languages from the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy of Salerno University (Italy) in 1985, Giulia worked for 13 years as an executive secretary for multinational companies. In 1999, in order to devote more time to her family, she became a freelance translator and interpreter. Thanks to her mixed heritage -Italian, British and Czech – she soon found out that one of her life passions was interpersonal communication. The emphasis of her work has always been on helping people understand one another.

As a child, she discovered she had an innate desire to research and experience the spiritual side of life and a keen interest in what happens after death. That is why she has spent the last 25 years actively researching the Afterlife and the circumstances that enable the physically living to contact discarnate spirits.

Since 1994, Giulia has had the opportunity of working as an interpreter at mediumship training events in the UK and in Italy, during which she attended hundreds of private sittings, as well as dozens of public demonstrations of mediumship and many lectures and workshops on the subject. She started reading anything she could lay her hands on, on the topic, and attended courses held by certified mediums to learn more about the mechanics and philosophy of mediumship. She also teamed up with other Afterlife researchers to experiment with after-death communication and how it works.

During these public events, Giulia met several hundred bereaved individuals and developed a specific interest in grief and bereavement support. She has since devoted a substantial part of her free time to comforting the bereaved, irrespective of their cultural or religious backgrounds.

Her work as an interpreter has played an important part in her interest in mediumship. Despite what she regards as her ‘many failures to communicate efficiently in everyday life’, she feels her key mission is to help people to communicate with each other, in this life and beyond.

In her free time, Giulia also enjoys painting as a means of expanding her awareness and linking with the spirit world.

Over the last three years, Giulia has started to realise one of her life dreams, by publishing books basically aimed at providing evidence, through her own personal experience as astral traveller and student/researcher in the area of mediumship, as to the fact that life continues after death and that death itself is a most blissful re-awakening into our eternal home out of space, time and physical restrictions. We, humans, are drawn more closely to people who are like us. Our family, people of the same race living in the same area, our countrymen, etc. Feeling connection with similiar people encourages cooperation and productivity. This is, in essence, a monocultural society, where people have the same general values and moral standards, where people strive for a better life for themselves and future generations.

Add elements from other cultures with differing value systems, and people will become more suspicious of others, resulting in less cooperation and lower levels of productivity. People will care less and less about their surroundings, until total chaos and violence ensues. This is, in essence, multiculturalism.

Fortunately it is not too late yet. With the right information, a sound mind, and the correct mindset, this problem can be remedied. This is what this short book aims to achieve – to make it safe for all people to live within their cultural boundaries.

Sander Laanemaa was born in Estonia in 1984. In 2011 he graduated from the Estonian Maritime Academy as a deck officer. During his studies, and subsequent time at sea, he took an interest in history, philosophy, psychology, and the occult. When I received the book to review from my colleague at Ashvamegh, I was intrigued to see the cover which was partially shadowed by two silhouettes… It tells the story, doesn’t it? The fiction by Arjun Kacper captures the seamy side of our public life very well. There is deceit; there is crime; there is horror; there is the fear of past; there is secret and there is a lot of passion in this novel!

The mischievous motifs of the inspector Rob and the pure love of Sara keep the things in balance. The secret with which Miguel dies by the hands of some ‘strange entity’ keeps the novel in pace. Side by side, the love stories of Asher and Jasper with Cassandra and Sara respectively give the novel a passionate impetus which offers something interesting for the readers of young age.

With 63 chapters, the novel runs around 220 pages but it does not let the reader feel done at any instance. The scenes flash like a Hollywood movie and the set up of the novel takes us to the USA. Arjun has dealt with a rather complex plot very well as for a debutant. He has managed his best and did not let the narrative deviate from the major theme – secret. There is a secret which becomes the central driving force of the novel and all the major characters, including the two main protagonists Jasper and Asher, are rushing to unfold.

All the major and minor characters have played their part beautifully in the novel. The introduction of Larry and Melissa takes place at a very ample time in the narrative. The newly elevated CEO Jasper has to step down for Larry which is a turning point in the novel and eventually that leads to the catastrophe which brings Jasper behind the bars… then comes the part that his beloved Sara has to play by sleeping with the enemy to try to unfold this Deadliest Secret of Truth…

I’ve always been drawn to the dark side of the human psyche, and devoured everything from Edgar Allan Poe to Shirley Jackson growing up. It is no surprise to me I turned out to be a writer of psychological suspense, often with threads of paranormal, mystery and romance.

But first and foremost I want to give readers a roller-coaster ride, one that keeps them on the edge of that proverbial seats and resonates in the imagination long after the last page is read.

Welcome to the Basilizoic era. A period of life on planet Earth that takes place after humanity drives itself to the brink of extinction with nanotechnology in the year 2045. The post Cenozoic era is definitely a Life Kingdom. With the nanotechnology working its wonders on all of Earth’s other lifeforms, the planet could not possibly look any better. It appears as though Mother Earth is simply getting back what was always rightfully hers: lands free of destruction and suffering by the hands of man. That is not saying the vile species of Homo sapiens is completely eradicated though. For a few thousand survivors survive the massive die-off that occurred after The Great Bio War. Doing so by fleeing to the Wind River Ranges in Lander, Wyoming.
Shortly after the war, two factions form. One faction rules with fear-based manipulation at their primitive settlement around Fiddlers Lake. The other rules with freedom and fair justice at their hi-tech cavernous civilization inside of Mount Chauvenet.
All of that is in the past though. The year is now 2071 and the two factions are well set in their ways. However, not even the Fiddlers Lake leaders’ own kin can tolerate their repugnant ways. They seek to buck the trend and actually help their species out instead of torturing them with fear-based manipulation tactics and punishments.
Seeing as how they will never be able to change their settlement at Fiddlers Lake, the five adolescents seek to flee such tyranny and find salvation elsewhere. For the longer we stay divided, the easier it will be for them to control us completely. It is truly a point we are slowly getting to. One where we will have no freedom at all.
With the police-state mentality and political correctness flowing freely, forever impeding our sovereignty, it is just a matter of time before we lose it all. Especially with this younger generation that has been molded since infancy to be a bunch of brainwashed cowards that view the government as a friend instead of a foe. Such ignorant mindsets are becoming prevalent throughout the nation. Meaning it will only be a matter of time before we lose everything.
So, follow the way of Algiz and protect yourself.
