John was born in Farmington, Maine in April of 1948. He lived on several farms located in Chesterville, North Jay, and Limerick until the age of 10. He moved to Durham, New Hampshire when he was in the fifth grade and later relocated to Manchester, New Hampshire where he resided through High School. John enter the Air Force in 1966 and served one year in Vietnam.

He returned to school in the early 70’s and received a BS in Business Management from New Hampshire College while working in the computer industry. He continued his computer career through 1990 at which time he left the computer industry and opened up his own business in the New Hampshire seacoast area. He remained self employed for 17 years. In 2007, he took a position with the Department of State, Passport Services, located in Portsmouth, NH. He continued there until his retirement in April of 2014.

John has been married for 43 years. He and his wife, Linda relocated to Milo, Maine in July of 2014 to enjoy their retirement. He is an avid genealogist and has spent over 20 years researching his family history with his sister, Marcia. He also does research for other individuals.

He and his wife enjoy traveling and site seeing with their new family addition, Sprout, a 3 year old Australian Cattle Dog that they adopted from a shelter in October of 2014.

Antonio L. Crawford is the co-founder of the Crawford Irby International Foundation, founder of the National Christian Writers Conference and Chairman of Orange County Christian Writers Conference. He is a publisher and author of several books.
