Even upon discovering his loyalties, she doesn’t believe him and their fight goes on long after the battle itself is finished. By the end of their fight, she is exhausted. Hello, earthlings! I’m a scientist and children’s author based in London, UK.
I finished my biology degree in 2003 and I then started work in clinical research (developing new medicines). I continued studying part-time and I have a Masters degree, a certificate in astronomy and I started my PhD in 2013. I very much enjoy my science career but I also have a real passion for writing stories!
I have learned a great deal from my PhD research which I’m currently undertaking (I need to start writing my thesis soon!). However, I’ve also been writing fiction on and off for ten years. I hope to be able to develop a series of books for children that are both enjoyable and educational.
My young nephew Hayden influenced my decision to become an author. I look forward to the day when my sister Michelle can read a story to him written by his Uncle Paul!
In my spare time I love going to new places and try to have as many holidays as possible. My partner Adrian and I absolutely love Scotland, especially the Isle of Skye. We also recently traveled to the Philippines which is a beautiful country, we can’t wait to go back. We just got back from a wonderful holiday in Croatia too.

Well, I’m someone’s daughter that since I was a child love everything that has four wheels and makes a nice and clean “vrrrrrrummmm”. For you to have an idea, when I was really young, I used to carry a tractor my parents bought me in a marketplace, in a blanket, instead a cute little baby toy.
I know most of auto brands and its pros and cons, however I am no expert. Just someone curious about it. My father instead has an extended knowledge about mechanics, especially in cars.
As soon as I had my car license, at age of 21/22 (yes, I took that long. I waited until full graduated. Would be my reward! And in Portugal the minimum age to drive is 18 and not 16 as in USA), my uncle moved away for another country and left his car with my family. A diesel wagon Opel Astra, from 1994. WOHO! Great car to start, because that doesn’t break at all!!
I had that car until now. That was quite a machine, but also really uncomfortable. My back was aiming for a car with nice seats and soft suspension that wasn’t like riding a horse in a bumpy mountain.
That’s when my journey starts. So I had a low budget (like $4.000 – that is really short in Portugal. Cars here are really expensive) and I needed a comfortable car, with a preference for a sporty line and also in good condition. Tough right?

I enjoy writing science fiction, fantasy horror and entertaining my friends with strange and often outlandish tales. Here is my first flash fiction and short story book, each tale has a slight twist at the end. I hope you enjoy them as much as others do. The sixteen year old James finds out Bell has to go back to London to move out of the apartment, and his excitement for her going to London is profound. What can she do? She takes the boy with her.
They walk straight in danger and James protects her as much as she protects him. Bell realises that she misses the quiet, unassuming Joe, and calls him for help. While the fight with Jerry starts all over again, Bell realised there is life over 40.

About The Nun Rubbed:
A nurse, Valerie, comes from France to New York on vacation. She is alone. For sightseeing, she searches the stops of open tour buses in the early morning in Manhattan. She loses her way. After walking for an hour or more, she comes near the twin tower building and goes to a park to rest. A tree starts speaking to her and claims that the plant is original Buddha tree and then an old and weird woman, Maya, approaches her to show her the magic. The park turns into a beautiful garden and Valerie watches various flowers dancing before her eyes. A bushy, hairy man with black hair all over his body and half naked comes in the park after the spectacle, and he stares at her. The tree knows him and he says to Valerie that she has killed his child. His words disturb her mind. She cut short her tour bus trip in agitation and goes back to her hotel.
In the evening, Valerie meets her old friend, Simone at Times Square accidentally in an open-air eatery. Her friend compels her to live with her. She goes with her to prolong her stay because she wants to know the truth about the identity of the haggard man who tells a fact, which few knows.
Valerie finds that her biography is missing from her laptop. The illusionist of the park has stolen it to blackmail her. They sent it back to her computer. She reads to find any bad change in it.Her parents are Alpine farmers and are strict Roman Catholics. They give their only sibling to God to make her a nun. . She dislikes the discipline of the religious school and the seminary expels her. The village church, Reverend teaches her and a nunnery admit her. She also passes the nursing diploma after becoming a sister. The Church Authorities in France send a few nuns to Ivory Coast to work in the missionary hospital, including Valerie when Ebola erupts in the neighboring countries of West Africa. She contacts the deadly disease, but an American scientist drug cures her. The church authorities send her back to France.
Her father finds an injured boy at the roadside on the Spanish border with a broken cycle. He foolishly came to compete in the tour de France race on an ordinary bicycle. The boy loses his memory in the accident and after a prolonged treatment he recovers. No one claims him and the farmer adopts him as a son and names him Francois. Francois works on the farm and has a little aptitude to study. Valerie comes from Africa when the Spanish boy has a relationship with an older neighboring girl. The nun dislikes the sin committed around her farm. The girl and boy dodge her. François becomes an errant youngster. Valerie’s father’s partial attitude is due to his nice work on the farm. That favor makes his adopted son become reckless. He ignores his daughter’s complaints about him. Fed up, she finds a job of a nurse in Lyon but delays her joining because her parents go on pilgrimage to the Vatican.
In the absence of her father and mother, Francois rapes Valerie. He clandestinely takes the nuns nude pictures to blackmail her and threatens her to expose her if she reports the matter to the police. When her parents arrive back from Rome, she leaves for her job and knows that she has become pregnant. She aborts the child. The sin punishes her mind and she confesses her rape and abortion to the church authorities. The bishop of Lyon excommunicates her. Shamefaced, she leaves her job and goes to Paris to work in a hospital without informing her parents.
Valerie’s friend in New York has a spat with her as she lives in her room. She realizes Simone; her friend wants a lesbian relationship with her while she is a straight woman. Simone admits, she is a gay and due to it, the church excommunicates her in Ivory Coast. Valerie leaves her apartment. Valerie extends her stay in New York to find out the truth about the hairy man she met in the park because she doubts he is Francois who raped her in France. She finds a job of a nurse in Coney Island. After a few visits to the Manhattan Park, she meets Pablo aka Francois, who is by then becomes a clean-shaven man and wears nice clothes. She wants to make him a decent Christian due to sympathetic feeling towards him while Pablo mechanically desires sex with her. She even persuades a young Spanish nurse working with her to date Pablo, but the young nurse finds him an obnoxious man. Her neighboring girl in France who has the relationship with Francois meets her in a mall in New York and informs her that Francois died in a shipwreck. She does not believe her.
The magician woman called Valerie to the same park a day before her departure to Paris to show her magic for the last time. She comes to the same park in Manhattan. When she enters, a glass dome engulfs the garden and there is no way out for her to escape. Maya turns into a beautiful witch. She shows her flower dance. After her magic, she says that she loves Pablo, but he endears Valerie. Due to it, she will kill her in a medical way through deadly viruses of Ebola and brain-eating amoeba. Pablo crashes the glass dome to help her love. In reality, he is a zombie; however, Maya claims she is more powerful than he shows. Pablo asks the witch to allow him first to rape Valerie. The witch refuses it and warns him not to touch her. He refuses to change his mind. The tree casts a spell and Pablo who died in shipwreck goes down in a bog pit to go to his grave.
Valerie prays to God and a saint comes who destroys the magical glass dome. The so called Buddha tree admits she is a fake and she freezes Maya. The divine help destroys the illusionists. Manhattan Park becomes spell free. The innocent nun goes back to France to live with her parents and the Bishop of Lyon sees a dream to revoke her excommunication.

With his ties to, what was later defined as a cult, severed, Rhys spent some time reconnecting with his family and building relationships. However, with one commitment finished he began looking for a new ambition. It was then that he returned to his life-long love—writing.
